Imagine we have a set of users. Some of those users have a NULL userid. We then call AuthenticatePatron from ILS-DI for a patron with a NULL userid, but a valid cardnumber. We call checkpw, which returns the cardnumber and userid. We then call Koha::Patrons->find on the userid *which is null*, meaning the borrowernumber returned is not the correct one, but instead the earliest patron inserted into the database that has a NULL userid.
Test Plan:
1) Give three patrons a userid and a password
2) From the database cli, set all patrons's userid to null
Run this query: update borrowers set userid = null;
3) Call AuthenticatePatron with username being the 1st patron cardnumber,
and password being the password you set for that patron
http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/koha/ilsdi.pl?service=AuthenticatePatron&username=kohacard&password=koha
4) Note you get back a borrowernumber for a different patron. Refresh the page and the number is correct.
5) Do the same with the 2nd patron. Same issue at 1st and correct number after.
6) Apply this patch
7) Restart all the things!
8) Do the same with the 3rd patron.
9) Note you get the correct borrowernumber! :D
10) prove t/Auth.t t/db_dependent/Auth_with_ldap.t t/Auth_with_shibboleth.t t/db_dependent/Auth_with_cas.t

- There are CAS demo servers, pick one [1]
- They all seem to have the same user/pass as of writing this:
User: casuser
Password: Mellon
To test:
1. Enable CAS and all related preferences. I chose v3 or higher, it only affects the logout action.
2. Set the CAS URL: https://casserver.herokuapp.com/cas (note that if you click on any of the examples, they include a trailing /login, don't put it).
3. Generate a Koha user, with userid: casuser (I also used that for cardnumber, just in case). Set no password to the user, or its irrelevant anyway. Add it stff permissions.
4. Open your Koha OPAC, I use KTD thus:
http://kohadev.myDNSname.org:8080
5. Try to login using CAS
=> SUCCESS: You are redirected to the right login page
6. Login using casuser/Mellon as advertised in the 'demos' site.
=> SUCCESS: You are logged in!
7. Now logout
=> SUCCESS: You are sent to CAS so they know you wanted to logout (if you enabled CAS logout)
8. Repeat on the staff interface.
=> SUCCESS: Things work!
9. Apply this patches, restart all the things:
$ restart_all
10. Repeat all in OPAC and admin interfaces
=> SUCCESS: Things work!

On bug 17591 we discovered that there was something weird going on with
the way we export and use subroutines/modules.
This patch tries to standardize our EXPORT to use EXPORT_OK only.
That way we will need to explicitely define the subroutine we want to
use from a module.
This patch is a squashed version of:
Bug 17600: After export.pl
Bug 17600: After perlimport
Bug 17600: Manual changes
Bug 17600: Other manual changes after second perlimports run
Bug 17600: Fix tests
And a lot of other manual changes.
export.pl is a dirty script that can be found on bug 17600.
"perlimport" is:
git clone https://github.com/oalders/App-perlimports.git
cd App-perlimports/
cpanm --installdeps .
export PERL5LIB="$PERL5LIB:/kohadevbox/koha/App-perlimports/lib"
find . \( -name "*.pl" -o -name "*.pm" \) -exec perl App-perlimports/script/perlimports --inplace-edit --no-preserve-unused --filename {} \;
The ideas of this patch are to:
* use EXPORT_OK instead of EXPORT
* perltidy the EXPORT_OK list
* remove '&' before the subroutine names
* remove some uneeded use statements
* explicitely import the subroutines we need within the controllers or
modules
Note that the private subroutines (starting with _) should not be
exported (and not used from outside of the module except from tests).
EXPORT vs EXPORT_OK (from
https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/perl-exporter-examples/)
"""
Export allows to export the functions and variables of modules to user’s namespace using the standard import method. This way, we don’t need to create the objects for the modules to access it’s members.
@EXPORT and @EXPORT_OK are the two main variables used during export operation.
@EXPORT contains list of symbols (subroutines and variables) of the module to be exported into the caller namespace.
@EXPORT_OK does export of symbols on demand basis.
"""
If this patch caused a conflict with a patch you wrote prior to its
push:
* Make sure you are not reintroducing a "use" statement that has been
removed
* "$subroutine" is not exported by the C4::$MODULE module
means that you need to add the subroutine to the @EXPORT_OK list
* Bareword "$subroutine" not allowed while "strict subs"
means that you didn't imported the subroutine from the module:
- use $MODULE qw( $subroutine list );
You can also use the fully qualified namespace: C4::$MODULE::$subroutine

The logout_cas method does too little tasks. In this case, I consider we
should not split it into a separate method. As the CAS implementation
lacked tests, it made sense to do it like this, so it is testable. But
now we have higher-level tests for logout_cas, we can bake the behavior
inside of it, and it is testable.

This patch adds a .perlcriticrc (copied from qa-test-tools) and fixes
almost all perlcrictic violations according to this .perlcriticrc
The remaining violations are silenced out by appending a '## no critic'
to the offending lines. They can still be seen by using the --force
option of perlcritic
This patch also modify t/00-testcritic.t to check all Perl files using
the new .perlcriticrc.
I'm not sure if this test script is still useful as it is now equivalent
to `perlcritic --quiet .` and it looks like it is much slower
(approximatively 5 times slower on my machine)
Test plan:
1. Run `perlcritic --quiet .` from the root directory. It should output
nothing
2. Run `perlcritic --quiet --force .`. It should output 7 errors (6
StringyEval, 1 BarewordFileHandles)
3. Run `TEST_QA=1 prove t/00-testcritic.t`

introduce undesired behaviour

CAS supports single logout, where if you logout of one application it
logs you out of all of them.
This bug implements this
You will need a CAS server (with single logout configure),
and at least 2 applications (one being Koha)
1/ In Koha login via CAS
2/ Login to the other application via CAS
3/ Logout of the other application
4/ Notice you are still logged into Koha
5/ Log out of Koha
6/ Apply patch
7/ Login to Koha via CAS, login to other app via CAS
8/ Log out of other app
9/ Notice you are logged out of Koha
If you dont have CAS, this patch should be a no op, you could test that
1/ Login and logout normally
2/ Apply patch
3/ Login and logout still work fine

From the Authen::Cas::Client documentation
logout_url [%args]
"logout_url()" returns the CAS server's logout URL which can
be used to redirect users to end

Bug 10029 tries to fix the use of URL parameters in CAS authentication.
But is does not work.
The full URL must be used in all methods of C4::Auth_with_cas.
Also, in checkpw_cas(), the 'ticket' parameter must be removed to find
the original URL.
This patch removes the 'ticket' parameter from query before calling
checkpw_cas() since the ticket is passed as method arguemnt.
In C4::Auth_with_cas, many methods use the same code to get the CAS
handler and the service URI. This patch adds a private method
_get_cas_and_service() to do the job.
Test plan:
- Enable CAS
- Go to opac without been logged-in
- Try to place hold on a record
=> You get to /cgi-bin/koha/opac-reserve.pl?biblionumber=XXX showing
authentication page
=> Check that CAS link contains query param "biblionumber"

If OPAC reserve page is accessed without being logged-in, login form is displayed as well as a CAS authentication link (if enabled). A click on this link will lead to CAS server but one comming back to Koha, page shows an error : "ERROR: No biblionumber received".
This is because CAS link only contains the query path "/cgi-bin/koha/opac-reserve.pl", not the query parameters.
This patch adds query parameters to URI sent to CAS.
