This patch re-instates the call to updateWrongTransfer to ensure the
transfer line is updated to reflect the new frombranch.
Test plan
note: when applying the patches, also update the database
1/ Check an item out from it's home library
2/ Check the item in at another library
(with AutomaticItemReturn system preferences enabled)
2a/ Accept the transfer and note we now have a transfer present from the
items check-in library to it's home library
3/ Check the item in at a third library
3a/ Note you are asked to return the item to it's home library.
3b/ With the patch applied, the modal title should highlight that a
'Wrong transfer' was detected.
4/ Go to the item record and note the holding library has been updated
to reflect where the item was most recently checked in.
4a/ With the patch applied the item status should reflect the last
checked in branch as the 'from' branch of the transfer.
5/ check-in from a 4th library, but use the 'Print slip' option for
accepting the transfer and confirm that also works.
6/ check-in from a 5th library, but use the 'Cancel' option and check
that this results in the item staying at it's current location and the
final transfer having been cancelled.

This patch makes request.pl pass the holding library object to the
template, if it is a valid pickup location for the item. This way, the
template can set a good default to save clicks.
To test:
1. Have "Hold pickup library match" set to "Item's home library"
2. Have a record with items in three different branches. For example:
- item1: homebranch: MPL, holdingbranch: MPL
- item2: homebranch: FPL, holdingbranch: FPL
- item3: homebranch: CPL, holdingbranch: IPT
3. Have FPL marked as 'No' for pickup location
4. On the record, open the page for placing a hold for a patron
(acevedo?)
=> SUCCESS: You are presented the regular hold placing page, with an
extra column on the items for pickup location setting
=> SUCCESS: The item2 (on FPL) cannot be selected, there's a clear message
about not having valid pickup locations
=> FAIL: The other ones don't have anything pre-selected on the
dropdowns
5. Apply this patch
6. Repeat 4 (go back to the record, etc)
=> SUCCESS: Nothing changed BUT the item with holding branch = MPL has
it set by default in the dropdown.
=> SUCCESS: IPT is not a valid pickup location for item3, so not set by
default in this case.

Besides the commit subject, this patch does much more:
- It makes request.pl stop passing a pickup location to
CanItemBeReserved
- It makes the page use the API to render a dropdown for each item, with
their valid pickup locations
- Items with no valid pickup locations have a nice message about why
they are disabled for selection
To test:
1. Apply this patch
2. Choose a biblio for placing a hold
3. Choose a patron
=> SUCCESS: You are presented with a new layout, that includes a
dropdown for choosing each item's pickup location. If an item is not
holdable, it still isn't.
4. Try having an item whose home branch is not marked as a pickup
location
=> SUCCESS: Notice you cannot choose that item
5. CHoose an item, but do not choose a branch, and click 'Place hold'
=> SUCCESS: It shows an alert about the need to choose a pickup location
6. Choose one of the (only possible) pickup locations for the specific
item
7. Place the item level hold
=> SUCCESS: All goes as expected!

These patches replace the 'Waiting' button on the transfers page with a 'Transfer' button
and correct some other related problem by passing the hold object to the template and
using that to fetch patron info as well as passing the reserve_id through to ensure the correct hold is
affected at all times
To test:
1 - Place a hold for delivery at Library B
2 - Sign in at Library A
3 - Browse to Circulation->Transfers
4 - Attempt to transfer an item on the title with the hold to Library B
5 - You get a notice that hold was found (missing patron/branch info)
6 - You have the option to set the hold waiting - click it
7 - The transfer is generated and marked completed
8 - The hold is marked as waiting, but the item is still at Library A and no transfer is active
9 - The patron is notified that the hold is waiting
10 - Revert the hold or cancel and place a new one
11 - Apply patches
12 - Attempt transfer again
13 - You now have the option to transfer the hold
14 - Click that
15 - Hold is in transit and transfer is generated correctly
16 - Transfer again and choose 'cancel'
17 - Confirm hold is cancelled and transfer generated

Fix table highlighting at
/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/additem.pl?biblionumber=XXXX
Every odd row of the table didn't get highlighted with the yellow color
when you tried to edit it previously, this patch fixes that.
That happened because every odd row had different coloring style that
was overwriting yellow highlight.
How to reproduce:
1) Head over to the
/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/additem.pl?biblionumber=XXXX,
where XXXX is id of some bilbio record that has more than one
biblio item.
2) Press the "Action" button of the first (or any other odd numbered)
biblion item, and from the dropdown menu select "edit" option.
3) Notice that it doesn't highlight it with yellow color.
4) Now do the same but with second biblio item (or any even numbered
item).
5) Notice that it highlights it with the yellow color.
6) Apply the patch. Do yarn build to compile css.
7) Make sure that every row of the table that you edit gets properly
highlighted with the yellow color.

Before Bug 27980 the sorting was done either by item's publisheddate
if it existed in at least one item. If it didn't exist then the
sorting was done using "h - Serial Enumeration / chronology"
field. This restores this sorting functionality in catalogue/detail.pl
page.
To test:
1. Create a serial subscription for a biblio, make sure to enable the
option "Create an item record when receiving this serial"
2. Receive two serials, so that they have different received dates
and check that the items are now created to the biblio
3. Add now two additional items with one having "A" and other having
"B" in the "h - Serial Enumeration / chronology" field.
4. Try sorting and notice the items with publisheddate are being
sorted and ones without stay in the order they happened to be
5. Remove the items with publisheddate and notice that now items with
"A" and "B" get sorted correctly

This patch adds text to the holds template in the staff client so that
if a particular item is at a library which isn't a hold location the
error message is descriptive.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Libraries.
- Change one of your libraries so that "Pickup location" is set to
"No."
- Locate a title in the catalog which has an item at that location.
- The "pick up at" list will exclude the library so and additional steps
must be taken to get the message
- Select a patron and set their library to the one we can't pick up at.
- Start the process of placing a hold on the title.
- After selecting the patron to place the hold for, look at the table of
items under "Place a hold on a specific item."
- The item located at the library you modified should show an error
message in the "Hold" column, "Library is not a pickup location."

This patch removes code and markup related to an autocomplete input
field in the overdues report filter. The autocomplete was intended
to enable easy entry of patron attributes, but it's simpler to use a
Select2-styled <select>
The patch removes circ/ypattrodue-attr-search-authvalue.pl, which was
only used on this page and is now obsolete.
To test, apply the patch and create at least one patron attribute type
which is linked to an authorized value:
- Administration -> Authorized values -> New category
- Create a new category to test with
- Add multiple authorized values under this category
- Administration -> Patron attribute types -> New patron attribute
type.
- Create an attribute which is linked to the authorized value
category you created AND which is marked "Searchable."
- Go to Circulation -> Overdues.
- In the sidebar filter you should see your patron attribute as an
option, styled as a Select2 dropdown.
- Clicking the dropdown should trigger a list of the authorized
values you created above.
- Test that the search field at the top of the list works correctly
to filter the results.
- Test that any repeatable attribute field can be cloned by clicking
the "Add" link, and that cloned fields can be removed using the
"Delete" links.
- Test that cloned fields remain in place after submitting the fitler
form, and that any selected entry in a Select2 widget is
preselected.

This patch fixes a bug and adds some style changes which I think are
nice. The bugfix is to change the z-index of the lightbox footer so that
it isn't hidden when there is a language menu in the footer.
The cosmetic changes replace the Chocolat image icons with new SVG
assets based on Bootstrap Icons (https://icons.getbootstrap.com/). The
color changes I think help the controls to be more visible.
License information about Bootstrap Icons has been added to the About
page.

This patch adds the ability to display the cover images of a
bibliographic record in a gallery. Cover images attached to items can
also be displayed in separated galleries.
Test plan:
All the cover images are affected, all the different sources will be
tested.
All the steps will be done on the same bibliographic record.
1. Local cover images
a. Turn on LocalCoverImages and AllowMultipleCovers
b. Add several local cover images to a bibliographic record
c. Add several local cover images to an item
d. Click on an image and confirm that it is displayed in a gallery and
you can navigate see all the images attached to the bibliographic
record
e. Same for items
2. Adlibris
a. Turn on AdlibrisCoversEnabled
b. Edit the biliographic record and add an ISBN that will return a
cover image for this service (9780670026623 for instance)
c. Display the cover images in the gallery
d. Note the link to the adlibris.com website at the bottom
3. Amazon
a. Turn on AmazonCoverImages

For names and uniform titles, when you do a z39.50 search from an authority
record, we prefill what's in the relevant tag's subfield a in the search
form, but for subjects, we don't, both because GetMandatoryFieldZ3950 thinks
the param is topic when it's actually subject, and because
z3950_auth_search.tt doesn't bother putting the value of &subject into the
form.
Test plan:
1) Authorities - New authority - Topical Term
2) Tab 1, click on HEADING-TOPICAL TERM to expand subfields
3) In subfield a, type goats
4) Click Z39.50/SRU search and verify that the Subject heading search field
has goats prefilled

When you trigger a z39.50 search from an existing authority record,
Koha prefills the search form with the value in the record. But because
that value passes through a URL, if it isn't URI-encoded characters like
& or ; will cut off the value.
Test plan:
1) Authorities - New authority - Corporate Name
2) Tab 1, click "HEADING-CORPORATE NAME" to expand subfields
3) Subfield a, type foo & bar ; baz

Also this patch removes "filter_by_for_loan" method.

1) go to /cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/detail.pl?biblionumber=XXX that has
item with notforloan value set as "Ordered" (-1)

On bug 15422 we made it so that only holds with copies to buy to acheive the holds ratio
showed
Users have reported that they want to see record where there are 0 copies to buy i.e.
the holds ration matches the value entered
This patch changes the criteria for returning holds to be if the ratio for a given title
is equal to or greater then the ratio specified in the form
I also renamed 'ratiocalc' to 'copies_to_buy' since that is what is contains
Test plan:
1. Create bibliographic records with 1, 2 and 3 items
2. Place 1 hold on each of them
3. Go to the Hold ratios report and search with ratio = 1, 2 then 3
4. You expect to see:
the title with 1 item with ratio 1
nothing otherwise
5. Place another hold on each of the record
6. Repeat 3 you expect to see:
titles with 1 or 2 items with ratio 1
title with 1 item for ratio 2
nothing with ratio 3
7. Place another hold on each of the record
8. Repeat 3 you expect to see:
titles with 1 or 2 or 3 items with ratio 1
title with 1 item or 2 items for ratio 2
nothing with ratio 3
9. Make sure there is no regression in the test plan of bug 15422
Comments from Frank Hansen:
Some comments.
When I adding the third hold on each record in step 7, It will result in

This patch adds a link to the display of publicly-accessible uploads so
that the user can copy the public link. This will hopefully lead to
easier use of sound file uploads in the Audio Alerts system.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Upload.
- If necessary, upload a file with the "Allow public downloads"
checkbox checked.
- Upon upload you should be shown the results of your upload in a table
with the file details.
- In the "Public" column you should see that "Yes" is a link.
- When you hover your mouse over the link you should see a tooltip,
"Copy link to this file."
- When you click the link the tooltip should say "Link copied to the
clipboard."
- Verify that the correct link has been copied.
- Test uploading a file which is not publicly-accessible.
- Confirm that the information in the "Public" column says "No" and is
not a link.

Bug 27594: (QA follow-up): Use clipboard API
While the Clipboard API doesn't
have 100% coverage (https://www.caniuse.com/?search=clipboard), it has
enough coverage for the "copy" operation that it can be counted on for
use in the staff interface.

This patch adds additional delivery notes to messages in message queue as there
can be multiple reasons for a delivery to fail.
Currently in message_queue we are given only two delivery statuses for messages,
"sent" and "failed". When the status becomes failed, we have no idea why it fails.
This feature can be useful with SMS gateway providers. Many SMS gateways inform
the application the reason of SMS delivery failure. With this feature, this
information can now be stored. As well as for emails, instead of simply logging
failures, we can now store the reason of failure directly into the message row
of message_queue.
Test plan:
1. Enable EnhancedMessagingPreferences syspref
2. Find a borrower with notices at members/notices.pl
3. Observe that there is no column for Delivery notes
4. Apply patch and run the given database update
5. Repeat step 1.
6. Observe that there is now a column for Delivery notes

This commit allows librarians to choose whether they want to query the
homebranch, holdingbranch or homebranch AND holdingbranch when they set
a library or library group search condition in the staff client and OPAC
advanced searches.
Test plan:
1. Apply patches, update database, restart services
2. Set up a record with one item. Edit the item so that:
home branch = Branch A
holding/current branch = Branch B.
Note the barcode of your item.
3. Go to Administration -> Library Groups. Create a library group that
only contains Branch A.
= homebranch and holdingbranch =
4. Go to Administration -> System preferences and find the new
SearchLimitLibrary syspref. Confirm it is set to 'homebranch and
holdingbranch' by default. Keep this tab open.
5. Go to Advanced Search in the staff client in another tab. Under 'location and
availability', select your library group from the dropdown. Under
'search for', select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
6. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected.
7. Go back to Advanced Search. Under 'location and availability', select
Branch A from the individual libraries dropdown. Under 'search for',
select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
8. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected.
9. Go back to Advanced Search. Under 'location and availability', select
Branch B from the individual libraries dropdown. Under 'search for',
select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
10. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected.

11. Go back to your System preferences tab. Set the SearchLimitLibrary
syspref to 'homebranch'. keep this tab open.
12. Go to Advanced Search in the staff client in another tab. Under 'location and
availability', select your library group from the dropdown. Under
'search for', select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
13. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected,
because the syspref is set to homebranch and the library group contains our item's
homebranch.
14. Go back to Advanced Search. Under 'location and availability', select
Branch A from the individual libraries dropdown. Under 'search for',
select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
15. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected.

17. Submit the search and confirm you are NOT taken to your item and your item
does not show in the search results.
= holdingbranch only =
18. Go back to your System preferences tab. Set the SearchLimitLibrary
syspref to 'holdingbranch'. keep this tab open.
19. Go to Advanced Search in the staff client in another tab. Under 'location and

'search for', select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
20. Submit the search and confirm you are NOT taken to your item and your
item does not show in the search results, because the syspref is set to
holdingbranch and the library group does not contain our item's holdingbranch.

From https://datatables.net/faqs/index
"When attaching events to cells in a table controlled by DataTables, you need
to be careful how it is done. Because DataTables removes nodes from the DOM,
events applied with a static event listener might not be able to bind
themselves to all nodes in the table."
Before this patch, there were three non-functional buttons on upload search
result page, "+ Choose", "Download" and "Delete".
This patch binds the handlers to a static element so that the three buttons
in upload.tt on page two onwards are functional again.
To test:
1. This test is for the "Download" and "Delete" buttons
1.1. Before applying patch, go to cgi-bin/koha/tools/upload.pl
1.2. Make sure you have at least 21 files uploaded
1.3. Perform a search via "Search term" form so that at least 21 results are
returned (e.g. a dot (.) as the search term should return all files with
filetype)
1.4. Press "Download" and "Delete" for the first result row, it should work
as expected (no need to actually delete the file - as long as it pops up
a confirmation, it works as expected)
1.5. Go to page 2 of results
1.6. Press "Download" and "Delete" for the first result in page 2
1.7. Observe nothing happening
1.8. Apply patch
1.9. Repeat steps 3-6
1.10. Observe buttons working as expected
2. This test is for the "+ Choose" button
2.1. Go to cgi-bin/koha/admin/marc_subfields_structure.pl?op=add_form&tagfield=856&frameworkcode=#subufield

This patch fixes the tests for when a negative amount is passed to the
pay method. Prior to now, a negative amount would have been passed
through and recorded. This was inconsistent with all other accounts
methods and has been deprecated to ensure consistent amounts handling.
This patch also introduces basic validation to prevent negatives being
entered into the UI.

There is code in request.tt:
homebranch: "[% ... %]",
holdallowed: [% ... %]
There only digits where expected earlier in holdallowed
but now it can be string value ('from_any_library' for example),
so it should be in quotes.
To reproduce the problem:
1. Add circulation rules which allow 1 hold only to the itemtype
2. Make sure AllowHoldPolicyOverride syspref enabled
3. Make 1 hold to patron for any biblio which has a few items available,
for example on "reset_all dev db set":
/cgi-bin/koha/reserve/request.pl?biblionumber=4&findborrower=1
(this biblio record has 4 items)
4. Start another hold for same patron on any biblio record or the same,
and keep browser's JS console open,
for example on "reset_all dev db set":
/cgi-bin/koha/reserve/request.pl?biblionumber=4&findborrower=1
5. You should see now JS error in browser console:
Uncaught ReferenceError: from_any_library is not defined
Uncaught ReferenceError: columns_settings_borrowers_table is not defined
6. Apply the patch
7. Repeat the steps 4-5 (reload the page) and now the JS error should be gone

Currently "Earliest hold date" and "Pickup place" are displayed
in one single column, but to make filtering possible it is necessary
to split those fields into separate ones.
This patch does exactly that and adds sorting list drop down feature to
the "Pickup place" column.
To reproduce:
1) Make a few holds and head over to "Circulations->Holds to pull".
2) Ensure that pickup place and earliest hold date are
in the same column "Earliest hold date"
3) Apply the patch.
4) Check "Circulations->Holds to pull list" again, this time
booking date and pickup place should have their own columns.

This patch updates C4::Letters to allow use of existing koha template
includes from notices, then updates the printfeercpt and printinvoice
slip print option to use GetPreparedLetter rather than calling getletter
directly.
As part of this work, we also add credits and debits handling to the
_parseletter_sth and _get_tt_params routines in C4::Letters to allow for
recognisable variable names in the notice template.
Test plan
1/ Update the ACCOUNT_CREDIT and ACCOUNT_DEBIT notices to use

This patch modifies the checkout page so that waiting holds are
displayed separately depending on whether they are waiting at the
current branch or not. A count of each number of waiting holds is
displayed too.
Unrelated change: A missing </li> has been added for markup validity.
To test, apply the patch and view the checkout screen in these
situations:
- A patron with no waiting holds.
- A patron with one or more holds waiting at the current library.
- A patron with one or more holds waiting at another library.
- A patron with holds waiting at both the current library and at other
libraries.

Add "if" check to the template so that it uses the value of
"debit_type.default_amount" only if it's true, i.e. not null or 0.
The reason for this patch is there's requirement from librarians -
to have this field completely empty if it's 0, so they could paste the
amount (as they usually do) without the need to clear the field first.
And anyway if you try to save the form with 0.00 value,
it won't accept it saying "Debit amount passed is not positive" so
in my opinion there's no point to preset it with zeroes to begin with.
To reproduce:
1) head to /cgi-bin/koha/members/maninvoice.pl?borrowernumber=XXXX
and check that field "Amount" is prefilled with 0.00;
2) apply patch;
3) refresh page and ensure that field "Amount" is empty now;
4) go to /cgi-bin/koha/admin/debit_types.pl and change default
amount to some decimal amount;
5) refresh manual invoice page again and ensure that "Amount"
field is prefilled with that exact decimal number;

This patch updates the in-template JavaScript so that some English
strings which were previously untranslatable. This patch wraps them in
the _() function.
To test, apply the patch and test that the correct strings are
translatable. In this example I'm testing fr-FR:
- Update a translation:
> gulp po:update
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for the strings pulled from
JavaScript e.g. misc/translator/po/fr-FR-staff-prog.po
- Locate strings pulled from reports/guided_reports_start.tt for
translation, e.g.:
#: koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/reports/guided_reports_start.tt:1324
#, fuzzy, c-format
msgid "Authorized value category:"
msgstr "Catégorie de valeur autorisée : "
- Edit the "msgstr" string if necessary, or remove the "fuzzy," before
"c-format"
- Install the updated translation:
> perl translate install fr-FR
In the staff interface, switch to the language you're testing. Confirm
that your translated strings appear. In this case, test in particular:
- The controls on the modal window when you preview a report's SQL from
the list of saved reports.
- The controls and modal dialog for inserting a runtime parameter.

This patch adds a button menu to the SQL report CodeMirror editor for
inserting runtime parameters. Each menu item triggers a modal dialog
where the user can specify a parameter label and any other relevant
option.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- Go to Reports -> Use saved.
- Create or edit a report.
- You should see a menu button above the SQL editor field, "Insert
runtime parameter."
- The menu should contain the options "Authorized value," "Date," "Item
types," "Libraries," "Patron categories," and "Text field."
- Test each option. Each should trigger the display of a modal dialog
with a heading which corresponds to your choice.
- In all cases except the "Authorized value" choice you should see a
single form field for "label."
- Enter text in the label field and click the "Insert parameter" button.
- The correct runtime parameter should be inserted into the SQL editor.
- If you placed a cursor somewhere in the SQL editor first, your
parameter should be inserted in that location in the editor.
- If you selected some text in the editor before selecting a
parameter, the paramter should replace the selected text.
- In the case of the "Authorized value" selection, the modal dialog
should include both a label field and a field for choosing an
authorized value category.
- Try submitting the form without selecting an authorized value. It
should warn you that the field is required.
- After testing the authorized value selection, try inserting another
parameter to confirm that the authorized value selection (now hidden)
is no longer required.

The 'Check Expiration' page in Serials is now hardcoded to display all
expired subscriptions before the entered date. This patch restores the
ability to limit the results to just those expiring between 'today'
and the date entered.
Original code taken from bug 6968 autored by Maxime Pelletier, rebased
by Charles Farmer and then moved to a new report and rebased again by
Martin Renvoize.
Test plan:
1) Without the patch any results after a search from this page will
result in matches both before after todays date (but before the date
you entered).
2) With the patch you should see a 'Show historic expirations' checkbox
which will allow you to limit the results to just those that expire
between the date you enter and today.

Using itemBarcodeFallbackSearch entering a barcode on checkout will do a keyword
search and provide you with a list of items matching the search term for checkout.
This allows checking out items, where there is no barcode in the item (you still need
a dummy barcode in Koha).
At the moment the table of items to choose from will only chow the title and the dummy barcode.
In order to make it more useful and easier to identify the correct item,
we should show more information here:
- callnumber (952$o)
- serial enumeration (952$h)
- copy number (952$t)
- inventory number (952$i)
(description copier from comment 0)
Test plan:
- Turn on itemBarcodeFallbackSearch
(If you have ES you need bug 27597)
- Check an item out using "street" or a search that will return several
items
- Note that you have now more info about the items

The exact search 6=3 is implemented, but it isn't used as expected when
you select 'is exactly' from the authorities search dropdown. This patch
remedies that.
To test:
1) Ensure you have an authority with more than one word in the name,
i.e. Electric power production
2) Go to Authorities in the staff client.
3) Change the dropdown to 'is exactly' and search for one of the words
in your record's title, i.e. 'power' in the 'main heading' search
4) Confirm your authority shows in the results, even though it is not an
exact match.
5) Search for a biblio record and go to edit the record.
6) Go to Tab 6 and click the plugin button next to one of the 6xx$a
fields to trigger the authority finder plugin
7) Repeat Step 3 and Step 4
8) Go to the OPAC and go to Authority Search
9) Repeat Step 3 and Step 4
Apply patch
10) Repeat Steps 1 to 9, confirm that this time the record does NOT show
in search results.
11) Repeat Steps 1 to 9 but this time search for the authority record's
full title, i.e. 'Electric power production'. Confirm the record does
show in the search results because the search term now matches title exactly.

You can verify that which branch's Koha calendar is being used to
calculate fines by reading for example the code in
C4::Circulation::_CalculateAndUpdateFine() There you can see that
$control_branchcode variable is being passed to
C4::Overdues::CalcFine() and if you trace that you will see in the end
it decides which branch's calendar to use for calculating chargeable
overdue fine days.

When adding a new authority type in the Staff client, the 'Authority type'

previously, the 'Authority type' column for records in the Default

This patch undoes changes to two lines in columns_settings.inc which
were triggering unwanted side-effects. There are several templates and
JavaScript files which use "aoColumnDefs" to pass options to columns
settings, and if we change this file without changing those at the same
time things will break.
When these lines are updated it must be done so at the same time as we
modify the templates which pass that same option.

This patch removes the "size" attribute from <select> tags where the
value of the attribute is 1. The attribute is unnecessary because the
default value when the attribute is undefined is 1.
This will allow for more careful sizing of <select> tags without a size
attribute while preserving the desired behavior of <select> tags which
have a size greater than 1.
The patch modifies 83 files but makes the same minor corrections to
each. I think examining the diff is sufficent, or testing a
representative set of pages:
- Administration -> MARC frameworks -> MARC structure -> Edit tag:

- The initial state of the page title and breadcrumbs should show
"Serials > Claims."
- Select a vendor. The page title and breadcrumbs show show "Serials >
Claims > Claims for <vendor name>."

This patch expands the logic around the cataloging search page's
breadcrumbs so that more context is provided in the breadcrumbs menu.
The page title should also reflect this change.
Some markup in the body of the page has been updated to clarify the page
structure using headings.
To test, apply the patch and go to Cataloging.
- The page title and breadcrumbs menu should show "Home > Cataloging"
- Perform a search which will return results from the catalog, from the
reservoir, or both. The page title and breadcrumbs menu should show:
"Home > Cataloging > Search results."
- Perform a search which will return no results. The page
title and breadcrumbs should be: "Home > Cataloging > No results
found."

This patch modifies various templates to replace the use of the
"title-string" DataTables sorting method with the newer "data-order"
attribute.
To test, apply the patch and view the following pages to confirm that
columns containing dates sort correctly when using any setting of the
"dateformat" system preference:
- Cataloging -> Edit items
- Easiest to test with an title with many items. You can follow the
"Edit items" link from search results.
- Tools -> Patron lists
- View the contents of a patron list
- Catalog -> Place hold
- Locate a title with multiple items and check out each item with a
different due date.
- Start the process of placing a hold on that title for a patron.
- On the "Place hold" screen, check the table of "specific" items and
test sorting of the "Information" column by date due.
- Tools -> Tags

To test, apply the patch and view the following pages to confirm that
columns containing dates sort correctly when using any setting of the
"dateformat" system preference:
- Tools -> Access files
- You must modify koha-conf.xml to uncomment and populate the
access_dirs section with a path to a directory containing some
files.
- Tools -> Calendar
- Test the date sorting in the "Exceptions," "Yearly - Repeating
holidays," and "Unique holidays" tables.
- Tools -> Inventory (I wasn't able to test this because of Bug 28015).
- Tools -> News
- Tools -> Notices
- Tools -> Batch patron modification
- Tools -> OPAC problem reports
- You must enable the "OPACReportProblem" system preference and submit
some problem reports from the OPAC.

This patch modifies several serials templates to replace the use of
the "title-string" DataTables sorting method with the newer "data-order"
attribute.
To test, apply the patch and view the following pages to confirm that
columns containing dates sort correctly when using any setting of the
"dateformat" system preference:
- With the Mana service configured in system preferences, go to Serials
-> New subscription and add a subscription for a bibliographic record
which will match titles in Mana. In the Mana search results, the "Last
import" column should sort correctly.
- Serials -> Claims
- Serials -> Search
- Serials -> Subscription details
- The affected table is "Acquisition details," so your subscription
must have orders associated with it (I eyeballed this change, so
could use extra help testing this area).
- Serials -> Subscription details -> Serial collection
