Bug 23194: Fix other occurences
Throughout staff client and course reserves we also show the field with HTML filter, maybe we shouldn't?

The items lost report also included the note as a title element on title and barcode links, I removed this
as the note displays in that table

To test:
1 - Add a link to publicnotes for an item
<a href="www.google.com">Cats!</a>
2 - View opac details, confirm the note is a link
3 - Same for staff side
4 - Add item to a course reserve
UseCourseReserves preference must be set to 'Use'
From the course reserves module you will need to add a course (and possibly a department first)
    Adding should be intuitive
5 - Confirm note is a link in course details on staff and opac
6 - Perform a batch checkout, confirm the itemnote shows as a link
You will need to enable the system preference: BatchCheckouts and add a patron category to: BatchCheckoutsValidCategories
Then a link should be available from checkout for a patron in that category
7 - Mark the item as lost
 8 - Go to Reports->Items lost
9 - Confirm the note is a URL and that title and barcode links don't show the note
10 - Click the barcode to go to moredetails for the item - in this case note should display as editable text, not a link

Bug 22951: Markup error in OPAC holds template
This patch makes minor markup changes to the OPAC holds template in
order to fix validation errors.

To test, apply the patch and go through the process of placing a
hold in the OPAC. Test various aspects of the process, including cases
where the hold is blocked and an error message is displayed (for
instance, when there are no items to be placed on hold).

The page should work correctly and validating the source should
return no relevant errors.

Bug 14419: Expanding facets (Show more) performs a new search
This patch removes the constraint of only passing 5 facets to the template unless the list is expanded, in fact, it removes the 'expanded' attribute from Search.pm
Now that all facets are passed to page it adds a 'show more' link at the bottom of lists and allows user to expand or collapse any facet set without reloading page.

Updated tests included.

To test:
1 - Perform an OPAC search that returns more than 5 of any given facet type
2 - Click the "Show more" link on the facets and see that the search is reloaded
3 - Apply patch
4 - Repeat search
5 - Note that you can click "Show more" without reloading page
6 - Test that page load is not greatly affected
7 - Ensure that all facet links function normally
8 - Ensure that facets are the same a prior to patch
9 - Repeat for staff client
10 - Prove t/Search.t

NOTE: This patch makes it much easier to see that there is an existing issue with marking the "active" facet. Ending punctuation seems to confuse the matcher.

Bug 22949: Markup error in OPAC course reserves template
This patch adds a missing "=" in opac-course-reserves.tt in order to
quiet errors returned by the HTML validator.

To reproduce the problem you should have one or more course reserves
available in the OPAC. Go to the course reserves page. Run the page
through the W3C validation service: https://validator.w3.org. Either by
pasting in the URL for the search results (if web accessible) or by
viewing source, copying, and pasting into "Validate by Direct Input."

This patch addresses these errors:

 - 'Quote " in attribute name. Probable cause: Matching quote missing
    somewhere earlier.'
 - 'Attribute class"inst_surname" not allowed on element span at this
    point.'

To test, apply the patch and try again to reproduce the validation
errors. Those errors should no longer be present. There should be no

Bug 5287: Add floating toolbar to search results in OPAC
This patch adds the "hc-sticky" JavaScript library to the OPAC and uses
it to make the search results toolbar "stick" to the top of the page as
the user scrolls down.

This patch also moves search results pagination into the toolbar so that
pagination links are available. Font Awesome icons are added to the
pagination include to replace arrow HTML entities.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

 - Perform a catalog search in the OPAC which will return multiple pages
of results. Confirm that the toolbar "sticks" and that all controls
   in the toolbar work correctly.
 - Test at various browser widths to confirm that it adapt well to
   various sizes.

Bug 22862: Normalize SMS messaging numbers before validating them
Librarians often copy and paste patron data, including phone numbers. SMS phone numbers are now being validated to conform to the E.164 specification. It would be nice to try to normalize that data by stripping non-numeric data from the paste (i.e. dashes, parens, etc ).

Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) On the staff side, Attempt to enter invalid characters the SMS number field
3) Note you cannot enter invalid characters
4) Attempt to paste a phone number with invalid characters
5) Note those characters are removed on paste
6) Repeat these steps on the OPAC

Bug 23076: Include OpacUserJS on OPAC maintenance page
This patch coverts the syntax for embedding OpacUserJS in the global
include file so that it uses 'Koha.Preference' syntax. This makes the
data available in templates, like the OPAC maintenance page, to which
the preference data has not been explicitly provided.

To reproduce: Add some JavaScript to the OPACUserJS system preference
which will let you know it's working. For instance:

alert("OPACUserJS!");

Turn on the OPAC maintenance message using the OpacMaintenance system
preference. Navigate to the OPAC. You should see the system maintenance
page but you should not see an alert.

To test, apply the patch and reload the OPAC page. Your alert should

results (if web accessible) or by viewing source, copying, and pasting
into "Validate by Direct Input."

This patch addresses one specific error:

 - "An img element must have an alt attribute, except
    under certain conditions."

To test, apply the patch and try again to reproduce the validation
error. The error should no longer be present. There should be no
visible change to the page.

Bug 22950: Markup error in OPAC recent comment template
This patch makes minor corrections to the template for the OPAC's
recent comments view. These corrections fix errors returned by the HTML
validator.

The patch moves some inline CSS into a class in the global OPAC CSS.
Some minor reindentation has also been done, so use diff with the '-w'
flag.

To reproduce the problem you should have the 'reviewson' system
preference turned on, and your system should have one or more
approved comments. View the "Recent comments" page in the OPAC. Run the
page through the W3C validation service: https://validator.w3.org.
Either by pasting in the URL for the search results (if web accessible)
or by viewing source, copying, and pasting into "Validate by Direct
Input."

This patch addresses one specific error:

 - "CSS: font-color: Property font-color doesn't exist."

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

Try again to reproduce the validation errors. Those errors should no
longer be present. There should be no visible change to the page.

Bug 22953: Markup warning in OPAC user summary template
This patch makes a minor markup change to the OPAC user summary template
(opac-user.tt) in order to quiet warnings from the HTML validator. The
obsolete name attribute on two links is removed in favor of class names.
The JavaScript has been modified accordingly.

To reproduce the problem you should have the AllowCheckoutNotes system
preference enabled. Log in to the OPAC as a user who has checkouts and
view the "your summary" page. Run the page through the W3C validation
service: https://validator.w3.org. Either by pasting in the URL for the
search results (if web accessible) or by viewing source, copying, and
pasting into "Validate by Direct Input."

This patch specifically addresses this warning:

 - "The name attribute is obsolete. Consider putting an id attribute on
   the nearest container instead."

To test, apply the patch and try again to reproduce the validation
errors. Those errors should no longer be present. There should be no
visible change to the page.

Test the process of adding or editing an note on a checkout. It should
work correctly.

1cdf657c05 Bug 22932: GetLatestSerials should not return formatted date
This patch updates GetLatestSerials in Serials.pm to remove date
formatting. Formatting of dates should be done in the template using
$KohaDates.

To test, apply the patch and locate a bibliographic record in the staff
client which has a subscription with issues.

 - On the bibliographic detail page for that record, view the
"Subscriptions" tab. Dates in the table of recent issues should be
   formatted correctly.
 - View the details for the subscription in the Serials module. Create
or edit a routing list for that serial. In the "Issue" dropdown the
issue dates should be formatted correctly.
 - View the bibliographic detail page for the record in the OPAC. Open
the "Subscriptions" tab. In the table of recent issues publication
date and received date should be formatted correctly. The table
should sort correctly on these dates.

Note: Although opac-ISBDdetail.pl calls GetLatestSerials, as far as I
can tell there is no serial-related output to update. The code appears
to be unused.

3bcde5d91f Bug 22657: Remove JavaScript from OPAC suggestion validation of required fields
This patch modifies the OPAC suggestion form so that it doesn't require
JavaScript for form validation. This change doesn't alter the behavior
of the form for users but does fit with the general goal of progressive
enhancement for the OPAC.

The patch adds "required" labels to required fields to better identify
required fields.

To test, apply the patch and make sure there are required fields
specified in the OPACSuggestionMandatoryFields system preference.

 - Log in to the OPAC and go to Your purchase suggestions -> New
   purchase suggestion.
 - Verify that the fields specified in OPACSuggestionMandatoryFields are
   highlighted and marked "required."
 - Verify that you can't submit the form without filling out these
   fields.

6d1b7ff27e Bug 22881: Trying to clear search history via the navbar X doesn't clear any searches
This patch undoes a mistake introduced in my patch for Bug 21479. A
"preventDefault()" was added to the search history clear button by
mistake. The "confirmDelete" function only works if the default action
of the link is allowed to complete.

To test you must have the EnableOpacSearchHistory system preference
enabled. Apply the patch and log into the OPAC as a patron who has a
search history.

Click the "X" link in the header next to the "Search history" link.
Confirm that you want to clear your search history. The page should
refresh. Navigate to your account -> Your search history to confirm that
your search history has been cleared.

70dcc175c6 Bug 22803: (alternate) Set dataTable width issue
This patch sets the "autowidth" option to "false" for the OPAC
subscriptions DataTable on opac-detail.pl. This gives the table a fluid
width rather than having the width be "hard-coded" by DataTables upon
first page render.

To test, apply the patch and view the detail page for a bibliographic

latest issues should fill the width of the tab container.

ffb432df78 Bug 8995: Show OpenURL links in OPAC search results
This patch use GetCOinS sub to provide an OpenURL link in OPAC search
results. It uses 4 new system preferences:
  - OpenURLinOPACResults: enable or disable this feature
  - OpenURLResolverURL: url of the openURL resolver
  - OpenURLText: text of the link
  - OpenURLImageLocation: image of the link

Link is displayed as an image if OpenURLImageLocation is defined, and as
text otherwise.
It works both with and without XSLT enabled.

Changes made to GetCOinSBiblio:

For 'journal':
- Title should be in rft.jtitle instead of rft.title
- rft.date, rft.aulast, rft.aufirst, rft.au, rft.pub and rft.pages have
no meaning for a subscription, so they are simply removed from URL

This patch refactors GetCOinSBiblio, so the construction of URL is done
only at the end. This way we do not have ugly
  $var .= "&amp;$value"
in the function body.

Also use URI::Escape instead of custom regexps.

This development consider the value of syspref OPACURLOpenInNewWindow
when building the link.

Test plan:
1/ Enable syspref OPACShowOpenURL and put your OpenURL resolver URL in
OpenURLResolverURL syspref (if you don't have one, just fill it with
some fake URL, you'll have to check if OpenURL links are correct)
2/ If you want, set the other sysprefs OpenURLImageLocation and
OpenURLText
3/ Fill syspref OPACOpenURLItemTypes with some (not all) of your
item types.
4/ Empty sysprefs OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay and OPACXSLTResultsDisplay
5/ Go to OPAC and launch a search.
6/ Check you have in the results (near the title) the OpenURL link (only
for itemtypes that are in OPACOpenURLItemTypes).
Toggle OPACURLOpenInNewWindow syspref and check that the behaviour of
the link is correct.
7/ Go to the detail page of one of those and check you have the OpenURL
link too. (Above tags)
Toggle OPACURLOpenInNewWindow syspref and check that the behaviour of
the link is correct.
8/ Set sysprefs OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay and OPACXSLTResultsDisplay to
"default" and repeat steps 5 to 7

This patch makes a few corrections to OPAC CSS to fix colors in the
language menus.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS.

- Enable multiple languages in the OPAC, including more than one
  language "variation" (fr-FR, fr-CA).
- Set the OpacLangSelectorMode preference to "both."
- In the OPAC, test the language menu in both the header and footer.
When you hover over the sub-menu items the background should be green
  and the text color white.

3d022dc20e Bug 22537: Suspend all hold button appears even if the hold can no longer be suspended.
This patch adds to the user summary page in the OPAC a check for waiting
