This patch adds the ability to set an unlimited number of guarantors
for a given patron. As before, each guarantor may be linked to another
Koha patron, and all the behavior that applies to a given guarantor
remains the same.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Find some patrons with guarantors, verify the still have their guarantor
4) Test adding and removing guarantors on a patron record, both Koha users and not
5) Verify the "Add child" button works
6) Verify NoIssuesChargeGuarantees still works
7) Verify tools/cleanborrowers.pl will not delete a guarantor
8) Verify the guarantors are displayed on moremember.pl
9) Verify the guarantor is removed by members/update-child.pl
10) Verify the guarantor is removed by misc/cronjobs/j2a.pl
11) Verify import patrons converts guarantor_id, relationship, contactfirstname,
and contactsurname into a guarantor
12) prove t/Patron.t
13) prove t/db_dependent/Circulation.t
14) prove t/db_dependent/Circulation/NoIssuesChargeGuarantees.t

We should construct the URI parameters string manually to avoid
filtering problems.
We cannot send the full query_string to the template and expect that the
string will be escaped correctly.

This patch removes the "onsubmit" attribute from the place hold form.
To test, apply the patch and test placing a hold:
Begin the process of placing a hold on a single title. On the
place hold screen, uncheck the "Hold next available item" checkbox and
click the "Place hold" button.
You should be get an alert saying "Please select an item to place a
hold." Select an item and click the "Place hold" button again. The hold
should be placed.
This patch affects the form validation for placing multiple holds, but I
don't think the JavaScript ever has a chance to run: The template blocks
the user from placing multiple holds if one of the titles has no items.

My orginal patch for this bug contained a lot of changes made obsolete
by Bug 19469, which created holds_table.inc.
This new version makes one minor change only to request.tt, adding a
class name and removing an onclick attribute.
To test, apply the patch and place an item-level hold on a title.
Start the process of placing another hold on that item. On the "place
hold" screen, in the table of items, you should see a "Cancel hold" link
for the item you previously placed on hold.
- Click the "Cancel hold" link
- Clicking "Cancel" in the confirmation dialog should cancel the

In the circulation rules, the loan period displayed in the table
of circulation rules is not translatable, always displaying in English.
This causes an issue when editing a circ rule with unit hours in any
other language than English.
When editing these rules, instead of hours, days will be preselected.
To test:

- Install a translation
- Activate and switch to the tranlation
- Create a circulation rule using 'hours' as the unit
- Edit the circulation rule
- Verify that instead of 'hours' 'days' will be selected in the pull-down
- Apply patch
- Update po files (kshell, cd misc/translator, perl translate update <langcode>)
- Edit po file <langcode-staff..., search for Hours and translate line,

As per test feedback I've changed wording from debarrment to restriction
Added insertion into the borrower_debarments table and removal from
borrower_debarments table (and borrowers.debarred and
borrowers.debarredcomment) when either 'Restriction
expiration' or 'Restriction comment' are ticket to be disabled/deleted.
Test plan (please follow this instead of following test plan in the

there is no display of the 'Restriction expiration' or 'Restriction
comment' values for the patron
4. Apply patch
5. Restart memcached and plack
6. Refresh the page notice 'Restriction expiration' (a date picker

Also notice in the table at the top of the page 'Restriction
expiration' and 'Restriction comment' are shown on the far right of the table (you may need
to scroll to see this)
7. Pick a date in the 'Restriction expired' datepicker and write in text into
the 'Restriction comment' field and submit
8. Notice in the next loaded page the selected patrons have the
'Restriction expiration' and 'Restriction comment' values you entered
9. Query the borrower_debarments database table and check that the new
debarments are added to this table
10. Go back to the Batch patron modification page and re-input the same
cardnumbers
11. Write text into the 'Restriction comment' field and don't pick a
'Restriction expiration' value and submit
12. Notice in the next loaded page the selected patrons have the
'Restriction expiration' value of 9999-12-31 and 'Restriction comment'
value you just entered
13. Query the borrowers table and notice the borrowers.debarred value
for the modified patrons is '9999-12-31' and the
borrower.debarredcomment is what you inputted in step 11
14. Query the borrower_debarments table and notice the expiration value
is NULL and the comment value is set to what you entered in step 11
Also note the addition of the new debarment has not removed the existing
debarment on the patrons

18. All tests should pass
19. Repeat step 10 and tick the checkbox beside the 'Restriction
expiration' field and submit
20. In the next loaded screen notice the 'Restricted expiration'and
'Restricted comment' are empty
Check the borrower_debarments table and notice all restrictions for the
patron are removed.
Check the borrowers table and notice the debarred and debarredcomment
fields are empty for the patrons
21. Repeat steps 10 and 11 to make a new restriction
22. Repeat step 19 and this time check the 'Restriction comment' field

In intranet after a search you see a results browser top left of biblio record details.
Actually this uses text for links next and previous with a character for the arrows.
I propose to use Font Awesome icons arrows.
In fact the translated text is often too large for those buttons.
For example "Previous" is "Préédant" in french and it causes the next and previous buttons to display on two lines.
Using icons is more compact and easy to use.
This patch also adds the list icon to back to results link and changes for a minimal text "Results".
1) Go to intranet
2) Perform a search with a few results
3) Click on first record

This patch corrects a problem with hold confirmation dialogs on the
checkin page when the HoldsAutoFill system preference is enabled and the
item being checked in has a hold at another library.
The confirmation dialog is converted to a modal to match other
confirmation information.
As part of this process two whole sections of the template have been
removed because they were redundant.
To test, apply the patch and test the following circumstances both with
HoldsAutoFill enabled AND disabled:
- A hold for a patron at your library
- A hold for a patron not at your library
- With HoldsAutoFill ON, both the "OK" and "Print slip and confirm"
buttons should dismiss the modal without reloading the page.
- A hold which is already marked 'Waiting'
- An item which needs to be transferred
- An item which has already been transferred
In all cases the confirmation modal should appear with correct
information.

This patch adds columns configuration to the DataTable which displays
Z39.50 search results in the cataloging module.
The Z39.50 results screen has its own server-side paging system, so I
added some code to copy the page number information ("Page 2 / 6") to
the DataTable toolbar for a more consistent appearance. The wording of
that information has also been modified for consistency's sake.
To test, apply the patch and restart Plack (or restart_all on
kohadevbox)
- Go to Cataloging -> New from Z39.50/SRU.
- Perform a Z39.50 search which will return multiple pages of results.
- Confirm that the DataTable controls work correctly: Search, columns
show/hide, export.
- Confirm that the page number information is correct as you navigate

This patch makes a number of interface changes to the Stock Rotation
management interface:
- "Add stage" and "Add items" forms are now triggered by clicking new
buttons in the toolbar.
- "Manage stages" and "Manage items" menu items have been added to a
sidebar menu to be displayed when stages or items are being managed.
- JavaScript has been added to move focus to the first form field in
the modal when it is displayed. The "autofocus" attribute is not
sufficent here because the modal is hidden by default.
- Add messages to be shown when there are no items or stages to be
displayed.
- Correct "selected" attributes to use XHTML-style: selected="selected"
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Stock rotation.
- Create a rota if you don't already have one.
- Manage stages for your rota.
- If your rota has no stages you should see a message along with an
"Add stage" button. The button should trigger the "Add stage"
modal.
- Test the "Add stage" button in the toolbar. It should trigger a
modal dialog containing the form for adding a new stage. The
cursor focus should automatically be on the "library" field.
- Submitting the form should correctly add the stage.
- Verify that there is a new menu in the sidebar, "Manage stages"
and "Manage items."
- Manage items for your rota.
- If your rota has no items you should see a message along with an
"Add items" button. The button should trigger the "Add items"
modal.
- Test the "Add items" button in the toolbar. It should trigger a
modal dialog containing the form for adding new items. The cursor
focus should automatically be on the "barcode" field.
- Submitting either a barcode or a file of barcodes should work
correctly.
- Verify that the new menu items are shown in the sidebar.

This patch modifies the JavaScript behind the patron search
results autocomplete widget which is displayed when typing in the search
header's "Check out" tab.
The script is modified to use the patron's borrowernumber instead of
cardnumber when redirecting to the checkout page.
Instead of copying the patron's card number into the search form and
triggering a submit, the autocomplete output uses direct links to each
result.
To better handle patrons with no card number, the output is modified to
show card number with parentheses only if card number is present.
To test you should have a patron in your database which has no card
number. Make sure CircAutocompl is enabled.
- From the circulation home page, type a patron name in the "Check out"
form and wait for autocomplete search results to display.
- Patrons with a card number should be listed in the format: Surname,
First name (Card number) Address.
- Patrons without a card number should be listed as: Surname, First
name Address.
- Clicking on either kind of result should link you the checkout screen
for that patron.

There are several cases where the check-in process displays a modal
asking for confirmation. There are several cases where confirming or
dismissing the modal unnecessarily reloads the page. In cases where no
server-side action is necessary, the modal should be dismissed without
submitting a form.
To test, apply the patch and go to Circulation -> Check in
With AutomaticItemReturn enabled and AllowReturnToBranch set to "any
library,"
- Check in an item which belongs at another library and is not already
in-transit. In the confirmation modal which appears, clicking the
"OK" button should close the modal without reloading the page.
- Check in another item from anther branch. In the confirmation modal
clicking the "Print slip" button should trigger a pop-up window for
printing a slip but the modal should be dismissed without reloading
the page.
- Check in an item which is already in-transit to another branch. In
the confirmation modal, clicking either the "OK" or "Print transfer
slip" buttons should dismiss the modal without reloading the page.
- Clicking the "Cancel transfer" button should work as before: The
page reloads and the transfer is canceled.
With AutomaticItemReturn disabled,
- Check in an item belonging to another library. The confirmation modal
should ask you whether you want to "Transfer now?" Clicking "No"
should dismiss the modal without reloading the page. The other
options should reload the page and initiate the transfer.

When modifying holds in staff client via reserve/request.pl or
the holds-tab in members/moremember.pl, the pickup library dropdown
lists libraries not marked for pickup. Hide those branches,
unless the branch is marked as a pick-up branch for already
existing hold.
The reason for showing a non-pickup branch for the holds created
before the branch was marked as non-pickup: If the non-pickup branch
wasn't shown, the branch in those holds would get set to the first
branch in the select if the hold was modified.
Test plan:

2) Edit the branch and another branch so they are no longer
pickup locations.
3) Go to members/moremember.pl for that patron, check the Holds-tab

4) Go to reserve/request.pl for that biblio. The hold-table

from.

This patch corrects the checkin template so that checking in an item
with an existing transfer does not clear the page of previous checkouts.
To test, apply the patch and check in some items.
- After each checkin the returned item should appear in the table of
checkouts.
- Check in an item which belongs to another branch. You will be asked

you should see the same previous checkins in the table.
- Check in that same item again. You will be again asked to confirm.
Before this page, confirming the transfer would reload the page and
clear the list of checkins. Now the page should reload and the table
of checkins should still show the previously checked-in items.

more consistent with other areas of Koha and to make warnings more
clear.
I have also changed the phrase "deletion/anonymization" to "deletion and
anonymization."

process and confirm that the interface is clear and works well.

This patch extends the feature which allows the user to send item
numbers from a page of report results to batch item modification. For
biblionumbers: Batch record modification, batch record deletion, and
add to list are now available. For item numbers: batch item deletion is
added.
A new menu button is added for these options at the top of report
results, removing the button from the item number column header.
Corresponding CSS has been removed.
To test, apply the patch and create a report which includes both
biblionumber and itemnumber columns in the results.
- Run the report and confirm that a new "Batch operations" button
appears at the top of the results. Test each option:
- Batch record modification
- Batch record deletion
- Add to list
- Batch item modification
- Batch item deletion
In each case the correct set of parameters should be passed to the batch
operations. Test with reports which return only biblionumbers, only
itemnumbers, and neither.

there are multiple pages to list.

links look consistent with the catalog search results page and that they

whitespace.

The point is to make staff client HTML for missing Amazon cover
images more equivalent to that of the OPAC
To test:

2 - Search on the staff and OPAC to get some results without
Amazon covers (missing ISBNs and bad ISBNs)
3 - Note OPAC missing images are like:
<span class="no-image">No cover image available</span>
4 - Note staff client are like:
<img src="https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/x-site/icons/no-img-sm.gif" alt="" class="thumbnail" />

Throughout staff client and course reserves we also show the field with HTML filter, maybe we shouldn't?
The items lost report also included the note as a title element on title and barcode links, I removed this
as the note displays in that table
To test:
1 - Add a link to publicnotes for an item
<a href="www.google.com">Cats!</a>
2 - View opac details, confirm the note is a link
3 - Same for staff side
4 - Add item to a course reserve
UseCourseReserves preference must be set to 'Use'
From the course reserves module you will need to add a course (and possibly a department first)
Adding should be intuitive
5 - Confirm note is a link in course details on staff and opac
6 - Perform a batch checkout, confirm the itemnote shows as a link
You will need to enable the system preference: BatchCheckouts and add a patron category to: BatchCheckoutsValidCategories
Then a link should be available from checkout for a patron in that category
7 - Mark the item as lost
8 - Go to Reports->Items lost
9 - Confirm the note is a URL and that title and barcode links don't show the note
10 - Click the barcode to go to moredetails for the item - in this case note should display as editable text, not a link

This patch removes the constraint of only passing 5 facets to the template unless the list is expanded, in fact, it removes the 'expanded' attribute from Search.pm
Now that all facets are passed to page it adds a 'show more' link at the bottom of lists and allows user to expand or collapse any facet set without reloading page.
Updated tests included.
To test:
1 - Perform an OPAC search that returns more than 5 of any given facet type
2 - Click the "Show more" link on the facets and see that the search is reloaded
3 - Apply patch
4 - Repeat search
5 - Note that you can click "Show more" without reloading page
6 - Test that page load is not greatly affected
7 - Ensure that all facet links function normally
8 - Ensure that facets are the same a prior to patch
9 - Repeat for staff client
10 - Prove t/Search.t
NOTE: This patch makes it much easier to see that there is an existing issue with marking the "active" facet. Ending punctuation seems to confuse the matcher.

This patch modifies the structure of the checkin form so that settings
(Specify return date, book drop mode, forgive overdue charges) are in a
collapsed panel when inactive. The style of the barcode field and the
mode notification messages has been changed to reduce the vertical
motion of the form when selecting options.
Some class names have been changed in circulation.tt and circulation.js
to make them appropriate for use on both forms.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
Clear your browser cache if necessary.
- View the checkin page. The "checkin settings" panel should be
collapsed by default.
- Confirm that the settings panel collapses and expands as it should.
- Confirm that selecting "Forgive overdue charges" or "Book drop mode"
trigger the display of the correct message and that the style of the
barcode field is changed.
- Confirm that after submitting a barcode for check-in, the
settings panel stays open and your selected settings are still
selected.
- Confirm that specifying a due date and selecting "remember" shows
a new message with the selected date.
- Confirm that unchecking "remember" hides the message.
- Confirm that date settings are remembered and the correct message
displayed (or not) during check-in.

The "(not set)" part must be removed IMO, I am not sure I understand its goal.
Now that we have 1 entry per rule (and not 1 DB row for the whole "Default
checkout, hold and return policy for Centerville" table), it will be harder
to handle it correctly. Not impossible, but if not really needed I would prefer
to just remove it. If a rule is not set, the cell is empty or the dropdown list
displays the option "Not set", which seems to correct the problem.

This patch corrects whitespace in the basic MARC editor template,
addbiblio.tt: Tabs converted to spaces, indentation corrected. Some
comments have been added in the markup to clarify the page structure.
To test, apply the patch and open the basic MARC editor. Confirm that
everything works correctly, including:
- Showing/hiding subfields
- Re-ordering subfields
- Removing tags and subfields
- Cloning tags and subfields
- Plugin links

This patch modifies the Koha news page so that filtering the table of
news is done using DataTables' built-in search functionality. This
allows for the table to be filtered without requiring a reload of the
page.
The patch also moves the table filter into a sidebar form and adds a
keyword field. A minor change has been made to the global CSS to improve
the display of the form in the sidebar.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS.
- Go to Tools -> News.
- Test the various table filter options: keyword, display location, and
library. Confirm that all work as expected.
- Changes to the keyword search text should be reflected in the
search field at the top of the table, and vice versa.
- Changes to the sidebar filter should trigger the correct state of the
"Clear filter" button at the top of the news table (enabled or
disabled).

Right now, to check if a plugin is functional and what methods it exposes we load the module and test for a given method at run time. This is highly inefficient. It makes far more sense to do this at install time and store the data in the db. I believe we should store a table of methods that each plugin exposes and check that instead. Then, at install time we can test that a) the plugin can be loaded and b) add the available methods to the plugin_methods table.

There is no reason that a library shouldn't be able to use the monetary
fines cap and the replacement price cap at the same time. The code is
written in such a way that they already work harmoniously. We have
librarians who wish to use both so they can set a high cap of $10.00 but
also use the replacement price cap so that a $20.00 book would only get
a fine of $10.00, but a $5.00 paperback will only get a fine of $5.00
Test Plan:

replacement price of $15

already overdue by a couple months

This patch updates the UniqueItemFields system preference so that it
contains pipe-delimited data instead of space-delimited data. This makes
it consistent with other system preferences which contain lists of
database column names, and enables the selection process provided by Bug
22844.
This patch includes a database update to convert space-delimited values
in UniqueItemFields to pipe-delimited.
To test you should have two or more space-delimited items table columns
saved in the UniqueItemFields system preference. Apply the patch and run
the database update.
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> Acquisitions and
confirm that the value of UniqueItemFields is now pipe-delimited.
- Set the AcqCreateItem system preference to "placing an order."
- Go to Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Basket -> Add to basket -> From a new
(empty) record.
- Fill out the item add form, including those fields specified in
UniqueItemFields.
- Click the "Add multiple items" button and specify one or more
items.
- Click "Add" and verify that in the table of items added, the fields
specified in UniqueItemFields were not duplicated.
- Edit one or more of those items and add duplicate values to one or
more of the fields specified in UniqueItemFields.
- Click "Save" and confirm that you are presented with an error
highlighting the duplicated data.

unintended consequences elsewhere.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS.
- You should have one or more plugins installed.
- Go to Administration -> Manage plugins.
- The "badges" for disabled and enabled should look correct.
- Go to Tools -> Staged MARC management and click on an batch.
- In the information about the batch, the labels should be bold.

In items search, when there is a custom field with authorised values :
when changing the conditional select AND/OR then the authorised values select disappears.
This behaviour is like when the search field is changed.
The bug is that JavaScript code meaning search field change listens on all selects instead of only search field select.
Test plan :
1) Define a custom items search field with authorised values
2) Go to items search
3) Click on 'New field'
4) On second line, select custom field
5) The authorised values select appears
6) Select 'AND' in conditional select
7) Without patch the authorised values select disappears, with patch nothing changes
8) On second line, select a non-custom field
9) The authorised values select is replaced by a text field
10) On second line, select custom field
11) The authorised values select appears

This patch updates GetLatestSerials in Serials.pm to remove date
formatting. Formatting of dates should be done in the template using
$KohaDates.
To test, apply the patch and locate a bibliographic record in the staff
client which has a subscription with issues.
- On the bibliographic detail page for that record, view the
"Subscriptions" tab. Dates in the table of recent issues should be
formatted correctly.
- View the details for the subscription in the Serials module. Create
or edit a routing list for that serial. In the "Issue" dropdown the
issue dates should be formatted correctly.
- View the bibliographic detail page for the record in the OPAC. Open
the "Subscriptions" tab. In the table of recent issues publication
date and received date should be formatted correctly. The table
should sort correctly on these dates.
Note: Although opac-ISBDdetail.pl calls GetLatestSerials, as far as I
can tell there is no serial-related output to update. The code appears
to be unused.

The changes on 19490 caused a bug, where the show/hide column feature hides the
wrong column on the items table. The two templates share a js file, and
the data passed is the same.
Adding the column to the template brings things back into alignment,
the data is already there, we just show it.
TEST PLAN:
1. Go to Tools > Batch item deletion and enter at least one barcode.
2. Try to hide a column that is showing
3. Notice it hides the wrong column
4. apply patch
5. repeat steps 1 and 2.
6. Notice the correct column is being hidden
7. Verify the new column for number of holds on the item works correctly
for item and record level holds

Due to the addition of a 'Write off selected' button in 18.11, users without
writeoff permissions could mistakenly view and action the 'Write off
selected' option for a patron in Accounting > Make a payment (Fines > Pay fines).
The attached patch corrects this error.
Test plan:
1) Make sure that a staff user has '(writeoff) Write off fines and fees'
permission disabled
2) Bring up a patron with an unpaid fee, go to Accounting -> Make a
payment
3) Note that 'Write off selected' button is displayed.
4) Select a fee, click 'Write off selected'. Note that staff member has
access to 'Write off an amount toward selected fines'
5) Apply the patch
6) Repeat steps 1-2, and note that the button is no longer displayed
7) Bonus points, as a staff user with writeoff permissions enabled check
that all four buttons (Pay amount, Pay selected, Write off all, Write
off selected) are displayed

This patch moves several English strings out of members-menu.js and into
str/members-menu.inc where they can be picked up by the translation
process. The following strings are affected:
"Are you sure you want to renew this patron's registration?"
"Are you sure you want to update this child to an Adult category? This
cannot be undone."
"Dates of birth should be entered in the format 'MM/DD/YYYY'"
"Dates of birth should be entered in the format 'YYYY-MM-DD'"
"Dates of birth should be entered in the format 'DD/MM/YYYY'"
"Dates of birth should be entered in the format 'DD.MM.YYYY'"
This patch also makes a correction to members-toolbar.inc in order to
enable the presence of the "Update child to Adult" menu item.
To test:
- Install and update a language.
- Check the po-file for that language. You should find no msgid for
the strings listed above.
- Apply the patch.
- Update the language you installed.
- You should find entries for all the strings above.
- Translate those messages and update the translated templates.
- Reinstall the translation.
In the staff client:
- Select your updated translation.
- Open an expired patron's account and choose "Renew patron" from the
"More" button in the toolbar. You should be prompted for confirmation
using the translation you provided.
- To test the "Update child" confirmation you should have only one
patron category in the "Adult" category.
- Open a patron record with a child category and choose "Update
child" from the "More" menu in the toolbar. You should be prompted
for confirmation using the translation you provided.
- To test the date format messages: From the patrons home page, expand
the advanced search options in the header search form. Select "Date
of birth" under "Search fields." A correctly-translated tooltip
should appear above the search field.

Looks like it is caused by bug 20226, however I am pretty sure it works when I wrote the patch.
[% IF Categories.scalar.all(category_type => 'A').count > 0 %]
is always wrong.
It must be, either:
[% IF Categories.all(category_type => 'A').size > 0 %]
or
[% SET adult_categories = Categories.scalar.all(category_type => 'A') %]
[% IF adult_categories.count > 0 %]
In the first case we are getting an array whereas in the later, a
Koha::Patrons which is preferable.
Test plan (from 20226):
- Remove all your adult categories (categories.category_type='A')
- Create a patron with a child category
- Try to update to adult category
=> The entry does no longer appears! (This is a change in the behaviour)
- Create one adult category
- Update to adult category
=> There is a JS confirmation message, if you accept the patron will
be updated to the adult category
- Create (at least) another adult category
- Create another child
- Update to adult category
=> No more confirmation message but a popup to select the adult category
- Pick one
=> The patron has been updated to the adult category

When such an item is selected, an additional date selection box is displayed to allow the user to specify the due date for all on hold items that are to be renewed.
2. In the Circulation > Renew alert screen. When a barcode of an on loan item that would ordinarily fulfil a hold request is entered, the usual alert is displayed indicating that the item is on hold, it is still possible to override this, and renew, however it is now also possible to specify a due date.
Test plan:
- Go to the Patron Details page for a patron who has an item on loan that would fulfil an outstanding loan request.
- TEST: Observe that it is NOT possible to select this item
- Enable the "AllowRenewalOnHoldOverride" syspref
- Return to the Patron Details page for a patron who has an item on loan that would fulfil an outstanding loan request.
- TEST: Observe that it IS possible to select this item
- Select the item
- TEST: Observe that an additional "On hold due date" input box is displayed
- De-select the item
- TEST: Observe that an additional "On hold due date" input box is hidden
- Select the item
- In the "On hold due date" input box, select a due date for the item
- Click "Renew or check in selected items"
- TEST: Observe that the item is renewed as usual
- In the "Renewal due date" input box, select a due date
- Remove the contents of the "On hold due date" input box
- Click "Renew or check in selected items"
- TEST: Observe that the item is renewed by falling back to the "Renewal due date" value if a value is not specified in the "On hold due date" input box
- Remove the contents of the "Renewal due date" input box
- Click "Renew or check in selected items"
- TEST: Observe that the standard loan period is used for the renewal period if no due date is specified in either box
- In the "On hold due date" input box, select a due date for the item
- In the "Renewal due date" input box, select a different due date
- Click "Renew all"
- TEST: Observe that all non on hold items are renewed using the value in "Renewal due date" and on hold items are renewed using the value in "On hold due date"
- From the main staff client from page, choose "Circulation", then choose "Renew"
- Enter the barcode of an item that you know to be on hold and submit
- TEST: In the alert box that appears, observe that a date picker is
displayed
- Choose a due date for this item, then click "Override and renew"
- TEST: In the "Item renewed" box, observe that the item has been
renewed to the date specified

There are several things going wrong on the circulation rules screen. The global rule is displayed for specific libraries (even if the rule does not exist for the library), and max_holds is always blank.
I have trouble finding the root of the issue, but I will propose a patch to fix both problem.
Certainly a mismatch between bug 18887 and bug 18925.
Test plan:
0. Do not apply the patch
1. Notice the issue on the circulation rules screen
2. Apply the patch
3. Confirm that the value you set are correctly displayed (and not the propagated ones!)

To reproduce:
1. Use MySQL or MariaDB for your Koha installation
2. Create an empty database and point $KOHA_CONF to this database name.
3. Grant SELECT privilege to your database user, e.g.
grant select on koha3.* to 'koha'@'%' identified by 'koha';
4. Go to step 2 of web installer where it checks database
connection
5. Observe the following message
User koha doesn't have enough privilege on database koha.
Ask for or make a change in the user's privileges. User koha must
have USAGE, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, DROP and CREATE privileges on
database koha2.
Need help? See manual for PostgreSQL
6. Note "See manual for PostgreSQL" is wrong. Should now read Need help?
For help with granting permissions, please search online for "[%
dbms %] manual grant permissions" of course the dbms should be the dbms
you are using.
7. Apply patch, restart all
8. Refresh page and observe it now displays correct link

This patch updates the screen and CSV output of item searches so that if
the item does not have a lost status a blank table cell is shown instead
of "0."
This patch also amends the table headers so that "Not for loan" statuses
are explicitly labeled as such, and the "Lost" column has the header
"Lost status."
To test, apply the patch and perform an item search in the staff client
which will return results with notforloan and lost items. Verify that
the values display correctly in both onscreen and CSV output. Verify
that the column headers look correct.

This patch changes the item search form so that searching by lost status
includes options for all lost authorised values instead of just "yes" or
"no."
To test you should have multiple authorized values for LOST.
- Apply the patch and open the item search form.
- Test searches which limit by lost status. Confirm that results are
correctly limited.
- Confirm that lost statuses are correctly displayed in the search
results.
- Confirm that in the search results table, the column header for
"Lost" includes a dropdown menu for filtering by all available
authorized values for lost.
- Test the CSV export function and confirm that lost status is
correctly exported.

This patch makes a number of changes to the subscription entry form:
- Make the default layout single-column.
- Switch the layout to two-column only when testing prediction
pattern.
- Add a button to hide the prediction pattern test pane.
- Change the style of some buttons and links. Add Font Awesome icons
to some.
- Clean up some issues with capitalization and spacing.
- Make it clearer when form fields are read-only: Move "locked" form
field style from addbiblio.css to staff-global.css and improve it
with regard to mouse interactions
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the staff client CSS. Clear your
browser cache if necessary.
- Go to Serials -> New subscription.
- Readonly fields under "Vendor" and "Record" should show a small
padlock icon.
- Test the process of adding a subscription, paying special attention
to the advanced pattern controls: Showing, hiding, modifying,
canceling.
- Test the process of editing a subscription in the same way.

This patch use GetCOinS sub to provide an OpenURL link in OPAC search
results. It uses 4 new system preferences:
- OpenURLinOPACResults: enable or disable this feature
- OpenURLResolverURL: url of the openURL resolver
- OpenURLText: text of the link
- OpenURLImageLocation: image of the link
Link is displayed as an image if OpenURLImageLocation is defined, and as
text otherwise.
It works both with and without XSLT enabled.
Changes made to GetCOinSBiblio:
For 'journal':
- Title should be in rft.jtitle instead of rft.title
- rft.date, rft.aulast, rft.aufirst, rft.au, rft.pub and rft.pages have
no meaning for a subscription, so they are simply removed from URL
This patch refactors GetCOinSBiblio, so the construction of URL is done
only at the end. This way we do not have ugly
$var .= "&$value"
in the function body.
Also use URI::Escape instead of custom regexps.
This development consider the value of syspref OPACURLOpenInNewWindow
when building the link.
Test plan:
1/ Enable syspref OPACShowOpenURL and put your OpenURL resolver URL in
OpenURLResolverURL syspref (if you don't have one, just fill it with
some fake URL, you'll have to check if OpenURL links are correct)
2/ If you want, set the other sysprefs OpenURLImageLocation and
OpenURLText
3/ Fill syspref OPACOpenURLItemTypes with some (not all) of your
item types.
4/ Empty sysprefs OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay and OPACXSLTResultsDisplay
5/ Go to OPAC and launch a search.
6/ Check you have in the results (near the title) the OpenURL link (only
for itemtypes that are in OPACOpenURLItemTypes).
Toggle OPACURLOpenInNewWindow syspref and check that the behaviour of
the link is correct.
7/ Go to the detail page of one of those and check you have the OpenURL
link too. (Above tags)
Toggle OPACURLOpenInNewWindow syspref and check that the behaviour of
the link is correct.
8/ Set sysprefs OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay and OPACXSLTResultsDisplay to
"default" and repeat steps 5 to 7

This patch uses the JQuery validator plugin to add validation to preferences of class email in the system preferences page. A field containing an invalid value (even if not modified) should prevent saving.
To test, confirm that when entering an invalid email address in the SendAllEmailsTo field, an error message appears and saving is prevented.
Correcting the value should hide the message and let you save as normal.

Rebased and squashed after changes to master.
Only difference from previous patches are small adjustements to conflicts in t/db_dependent/Letters.t
Test plan:
1) Apply path
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Clear all SendAllEmailsTo system preference
4) Send mail to a patron of your choosing, email will go to patron's
email address as usual.
5) Set SendAllEmailsTo to a test email address
6) Send mail to the patron, email will be redirected to the email set
in the systempreference.
7) Run prove -v t/db_dependent/Letters.t
It does not affect messages in the message_queue.
This patch obsoletes previous patches, because it achieves the same
functionality in a much more centralized way. (4 lines of code!)

1) Enable the CheckPrevCheckout and DisplayMultiPlaceHold system preferences
2) Have a patron with some checkouts history
3) Try to place hold on one of titles from history for this patron
4) You should see an information at the top of confirm request page, but
you still should be able to place a hold
5) Try this with multiple titles - one or more of them should be from
history
6) You should see this information in "Information" column
7) There is also new column placed at the beggining with checkbox, you
could uncheck it for titles you do not want to place a hold on it
8) Confirm the hold is placed only on checked titles
