Bug 37249: Disambiguate itemnumber with USING clause
1. Do an item search that returns results
2. Use the column filtering available at the top of the table for each column
3. Try itemnumber, get a 500 error each time
4. As long as there is data in the itemnumber column and you attempt to use another column you'll see a 500 error.
5. APPLY PATCH, restart_all
6. The itemnumber column filtering should now work as expected

Bug 19097: Adjust some GetMarcFromKohaField calls
We need to:
[1] Remove obsolete framework parameters if any (yes there are).
[2] Check scalar context calls if any (most probably not).

Ad 1:
How to find them? Git grep and look at each hit. You will need the -C
parameter to add a few context lines around the call even.

Found one in C4/Biblio.pm and six in Suggestions.t with ''.
Found one in C4/Items on a second line. Similar one in Koha/EDI.
Note: sub receipt_items in EDI has no unit tests yet.

Also did a few git searches like:
git grep GetMarcFromKohaField | grep -v -P "GetMarcFromKohaField.*;"| grep -P "GetMarcFromKohaField\s*\("
Note: Seeing still three lines; they are all fine. Last line comes from
testing to trigger the warn.

Ad 2:
Have been looking at each git grep line and did not spot any
scalar context call. Before this report, we had an example in
POD and the Biblio test only.

Try to find them by performing smarter git searches?
Did look again at results for:
git grep GetMarcFromKohaField | grep -v -P "\)\s*=\s*&?(C4::Biblio::)?GetMarcFromKohaField" | grep -v -P "use "
The tests from this grep are included in the last test plan line.

Test plan:
Read the patch.
Run t/db_dependent/Biblio/TransformHtmlToMarc.t
Run t/db_dependent/Items.t
Run t/db_dependent/Suggestions.t

Bug 32029: Automatic item modifications by age add biblio table
In automatic item modifications by age missing,
conditions can be on columns of tables items or biblioitems.
Table biblio is missing.

Test plan :
1) Create an automatic item modifications by age with a condition on a column of biblio table
2) Create a record and item matching the rule
3) Run misc/cronjobs/automatic_item_modification_by_age.pl -c -v
=> Check only matching items are impacted

25f8581c0d Bug 33739: Only trigger indexing on last item modification at ModItemTransfer
This patch makes ModItemTransfer trigger record indexing only on the
last call (in $transfer->transit). And extra parameter is added to
->transit to effectively honour the ModItemTransfer parameter.

I wanted to mention that bug 31212 highlighted an existing issue, not
catched by the current tests before its inclussion, because of the DT truncation
taking place.

To test:
1. Run:
   $ ktd --shell
  k$ prove t/db_dependent/Koha/SearchEngine/Indexer.t
=> FAIL: Indexing is requested twice, should only be once
2. Apply this patch
3. Repeat 1

Bug 28799: Log when item was lost and now found
In the subroutine ModDateLastSeen we unset an item's lost status when
checked in.

This routine passes a noi log parameter to the store request, this is
to avoid spamming the cataloguing log on every checkin.

When marking an item unlost we should record this change.

To test:
1 - Enable cataloguing log
2 - Mark an item lost
3 - View the log and confirm this chagne was recorded
4 - Check the item in
5 - The message indicates item is now found, but logs have no new entry
6 - Apply patch, restart all

Bug 30718: Use flatpickr's altInput
The idea rely on the KohaDates TT plugin for the date formatting. We
should not have any output_pref calls in pl or pm (there are some
exceptions, for ILSDI for instance).

Also flatpickr will deal with the places where dates are inputed. We
will pass the raw SQL value (what we call 'iso' in Koha::DateUtils), and
the controller will receive the same value, no need to additional
conversion.
Note that DBIC has the capability to auto-deflate DateTime objects,
which makes things way easier. We can either pass the value we receive
from the controller, or pass a DT object to our methods.

Bug 30824: Improve performance of BatchCommitItems
This makes two simple changes:
- Limit TransformMarcToKoha to the fields we need
- Pass forward the biblioitemnumber when adding items to a new biblionumber

Profiling with NYTProf I saved ~8-9 seconds importing around 400 bibs/1000 items

Reducing calls in item store to use a passed biblionumber was the largest gain.

763d73fbf0 Bug 29346: Add more fine-grained control of holds queue updates
This patch deals with the fact that high-level circualtion methods like
`AddIssue`, `AddReturn` and `ModDateLastSeen` all eventually call
lower-level methods like ModBiblio, Koha::Item->store of
UpdateTotalIssues which are expected to trigger holds queue updates (for
the object CRUD operations use cases). As the circulation methods need
to trigger holds queue update as well, duplicate updates were being
requested which is suboptimal, of course.

In order to prevent this, and because circulation methdos could trigger
holds queue updates several times, actually, I added a new parameter
*skip_holds_queue* to the low-level methods, so when they are called
from circulation, the trigger is skipped and we have greater control on
when and how holds queue updates are scheduled.

This patch introduces the `skip_holds_queue` parameter to the following
methods:

* C4::Biblio::ModBiblio
* C4::Biblio::UpdateTotalIssues
* Koha::Item->store

Calls to those methods from the following methods will include the new
parameter, and thus duplicated holds queue updates avoided:

* C4::Circulation::AddIssue
* C4::Circulation::AddReturn
* C4::Items::ModDateLastSeen

Tests are added, to verify that the (mocked) BatchUpdateBiblioHoldsQueue
task is only scheduled once when they are called.

To test:
1. Apply up to the previous patch
2. Run:
   $ kshell
  k$ prove t/db_dependent/Biblio.t \

621b1c3b7f Bug 14393: Add collection code filter to inventory
This patch adds the ability to do inventory by collection.

_TEST PLAN_

Before applying:
1) Go to "Tools > Inventory/stocktaking"
2) Note that there is no "Collection code:" option

Optionally:
2b) You can create a Barcode file with a single barcode
2c) Don't select anything from "Select items you want to check" (or filter if you know
how to filter to make it faster... doesn't matter)
2d) Click "Submit" at the bottom of the screen
2e) Note that there is no "Collection code" column in the screen output or CSV output
(ie with/without the "Export to CSV file" box ticked before submitting)

Apply the patch.

After applying:
3) Note that there is a "Collection code" filter on the main inventory screen
4) Create a Barcode file with a single barcode for an item with a collection
and upload it using the "Choose file" button.
5) Select that item's collection code from the "Collection code" filter
6) Click "Submit"
7) Note that the screen output and the CSV output contains a "Collection code" column

bed1646444 Bug 22827: Add age dependency on other fields than dateaccessioned
A new agefield has been added to the 'Automatic item modifications by
age' tool. The options for the agefield are: replacementpricedate, datelastborrowed,
datelastseen, damaged_on, itemlost_on, withdrawn_on

If no option is selected then Koha will default to saving 'agefield' =
items.dateaccessioned

Similarly, if a Koha instance has an old item rule without 'agefield'
defined then Koha will default to using 'items.dateaccessioned'.
This is confirmed by the AutomaticItemModificationByAge.t unit test.

Test plan:

1. Go to: Tools > Catalog > Automatic item modifications by age
2. Observe there is a new 'Age field' dropdown in the rule form.
3. Create a rule, set the values:
- 'Age in days' = 20
- Leave 'Age field' = 'Choose an age field'
- 'Substitutions': 'items.barcode' = 'test'
- Save the rule
4. Confirm the 'List of rules' page displays 'items.dateaccessioned in the 'Age field' column
5. Add another rule:
- 'Age in days' = 2
- 'Age field' = 'items.datelastseen'

10. Confirm the item has it's barcode set to 'test2'
11. Run unit tests:

353427a31a Bug 17748: Show due date and availability in item search results
This enhancement adds the availability of an item to the item search
results (i.e. shows if checked out or not). If checked out,
shows due date in item search results. The due
date column will also show when exporting results to a CSV file.

To test:
1) Apply patch and restart services
2) Set up two items. Check out Item A to a borrower. Leave Item B as
is not checked out, and not unavailable status.
3) Go to Search -> Item search. Scroll down and notice the Availability
radio options - Ignore, and Checked out.
4) Leave the Ignore option selected and do a search so that both items show.
5) Confirm the availability and due date columns are showing at the
right end of the table. Confirm Item A says Checked out and has a due
date. Confirm Item B says available.
6) Export all result to CSV. Confirm the results show in the CSV file as
expected.
7) Go to edit your search. Select the 'Checked out' radio option for
Availability and submit the search. Confirm only Item A shows in the
results (not Item B).

c66668b16c Bug 28769: Remove tabloop from cataloguing plugins
There is a "tabloop" variable that is passed from the add item form logic to the cataloguing plugins.
But there is confusion, sometimes it's an iterator ($i) and sometimes (batchMod.pl) an array.

Actually this tabloop variable is never used from cataloguing plugins, we should remove it.

Test plan:
Read the code and confirm the above.
You can also test a couple of plugins and confirm that they are still
working.

2615ee1010 Bug 22690: Refactor merging of records to improve performance (Elasticsearch)
This patch allows merging of records with many items without the web server timing out.

Test plan:

Without the patch:

- Create 2 records (one with e.g. 1000 items).
- Do a cataloguing search that displays both records, select them and click "Merge selected".
- Choose the record with many items as the one to be eliminated.
- Start the merging.
- After a while the web server should give you a timeout error (the merging process may still continue)

With the patch:
- Do the same as above
- This time verify that the records are merged without timeout
- Create a new biblio with an item
- Add with the item:
  * acquisition order
  * hold (reserve)
- Merge the biblio to another one
- Verify that the item and its related data was moved
- Verify that tests pass:
  prove -v t/db_dependent/Koha/Biblio.t
  prove -v t/db_dependent/Koha/Item.t

9d6d641d1f Bug 17600: Standardize our EXPORT_OK
On bug 17591 we discovered that there was something weird going on with
the way we export and use subroutines/modules.
This patch tries to standardize our EXPORT to use EXPORT_OK only.

That way we will need to explicitely define the subroutine we want to
use from a module.

This patch is a squashed version of:
Bug 17600: After export.pl
Bug 17600: After perlimport
Bug 17600: Manual changes
Bug 17600: Other manual changes after second perlimports run
Bug 17600: Fix tests

And a lot of other manual changes.

export.pl is a dirty script that can be found on bug 17600.

"perlimport" is:
git clone https://github.com/oalders/App-perlimports.git
cd App-perlimports/
cpanm --installdeps .
export PERL5LIB="$PERL5LIB:/kohadevbox/koha/App-perlimports/lib"
find . \( -name "*.pl" -o -name "*.pm" \) -exec perl App-perlimports/script/perlimports --inplace-edit --no-preserve-unused --filename {} \;

The ideas of this patch are to:
* use EXPORT_OK instead of EXPORT
* perltidy the EXPORT_OK list
* remove '&' before the subroutine names
* remove some uneeded use statements
* explicitely import the subroutines we need within the controllers or
modules

Note that the private subroutines (starting with _) should not be
exported (and not used from outside of the module except from tests).

EXPORT vs EXPORT_OK (from
https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/perl-exporter-examples/)
"""
Export allows to export the functions and variables of modules to user’s namespace using the standard import method. This way, we don’t need to create the objects for the modules to access it’s members.

@EXPORT and @EXPORT_OK are the two main variables used during export operation.

@EXPORT contains list of symbols (subroutines and variables) of the module to be exported into the caller namespace.

@EXPORT_OK does export of symbols on demand basis.
"""

If this patch caused a conflict with a patch you wrote prior to its
push:
* Make sure you are not reintroducing a "use" statement that has been
removed
* "$subroutine" is not exported by the C4::$MODULE module
means that you need to add the subroutine to the @EXPORT_OK list
* Bareword "$subroutine" not allowed while "strict subs"
means that you didn't imported the subroutine from the module:
  - use $MODULE qw( $subroutine list );
You can also use the fully qualified namespace: C4::$MODULE::$subroutine

db382ebaff Bug 27837: Check the MARC directly, not the transformed item
If permanent location is mapped, it will exist in the MARC.
However, when we are transforming our item hash to MARC,
we are losing our permanent location mapping, at least in unit tests.

By checking the original MARC for the permenent location, we remove the
risk of losing it the "empty" permenent location through the
transformation process. We only need to know that it existed in the
original item marc to know we need to update it in the database.

d776fa7b27 Bug 27545: Use NewItemsDefaultLocation from places where an item is created
The syspref NewItemsDefaultLocation is used to set a default value for item's location.

But it seems that there are some weirdness in the behaviour:
1. It's only used from additem. It seems that it should be used from acq and serial modules as well. And maybe for the items import too.
2. It set the location even if another one has been picked from the UI
=> We UI must preselect the syspref's value, but the controller must pick what has been selected on the UI

This patch is adding the default to the UI and extend the use of the
pref to other areas.

Test plan:
Set a value to NewItemsDefaultLocation
Catalogue a new item and confirm that the syspref's value is picked to
selected the default value on the add item form
Same behaviour should apply to the acquisition and serial modules
When importing items, the default location must be used if the imported
items did not have a location defined.
