This patch place profile buttons in the bottom of the page, next to "Stage for import"
It removes the "Update profile" button, and changes "Add profile" to "Save profile". Save profile can be used to add and to update a profile.
It also adds feedback when a profile was saved or deleted.
Last, it also replaces input-batch-profile endpoint name for input_batch_profile, which is more aligned with other endpoint names.

This patch adds the logic and the needed UI elements to be able to pre-load an import profile. It also displays which profile was used to stage an import in staged import manager.
To test:
1. Apply all patches
2. Updatedatabase
3. Go to Stage MARC records for Import tool in admin, and upload a file with MARC records.
CHECK => after uploading, there is a fieldset with the legend “Profile settings”
=> inside the fieldset there is a select labeled “Pre fill values with profile”. The only value it has is “Do not use profile”.
4. Change some settings, and set “profile 1” as profile name and click on “Add profile”
SUCCESS => The select now has the new profile selected
5. Change profile select to “Do not use profile”
SUCCESS => Default values are now displayed in the form
6. Reload the page and upload the file again
SUCCESS => the select still has the profile recently added
7. Select the profile, change some parameter in the form and set the profile name to “profile 2”, and click add profile
SUCCESS => there are two profiles now, and if you toggle between them, the parameter changes
8. Select profile 1, change one parameter and click on update profile
SUCCESS => if you toggle that profile with the other, the new parameter of the value is shown when you select profile 1
9. Select profile 2, change some parameter and click Add profile (leaving the name as profile 2)
SUCCESS => the page complains there is another profile with the same name, and asks if you want to replace it.
10. Click on accept
SUCCESS => profile 2 now has the new value in the parameter
11. Select profile 2 and change the name to profile 1
SUCCESS => the page complains there is another profile with that name, and asks if you want to replace it
12. Click on accept
SUCCESS => in profile select there is only one profile called profile 1 that has the values of profile 2
13. Select profile 1 and click remove profile
SUCCESS => there is no profile in profile select.
14. Create a profile and click on “Stage for import”
15. Go to Staged MARC management page
SUCCESS => Improt should have the name of the profile in profile column, and when you click on the file name, there should be the name of the profile in the details.

This patch makes more markup changes to the templates previously
modified in order to try to arrive at some agreeable solutions.
- In the value_builder EXAMPLE template, the <p> is unnecessary and is
removed. Also removed is the script "type" attribute and obsolete
CDATA markers.
- In the article request template an unnecessary <p> is removed.
- In the merge patrons template the submit button is now in a <fieldset
class="action"> as is consistent with other forms.
- In the MARC modifications template I've added <div>s around each
"line" in the form to add the line break, along with some CSS to add
margins.
- The submit button is now inside a <fieldset class="action"> and the
"Cancel" link now has the "cancel" class.

2) Run updatedatabase
3) Restart all the things!
4) Disable TalkingTechItivaPhoneNotificationi if enabled
5) Enable new PhoneNotification system preference
6) Go to a patron's messaging preferences, not you can select the
'phone' option for all the same notices as the 'email' option
7) Enable the phone option for all the message types
8) Browser to the Notices and slips editor

This patch adds the ability to compare the log entries for reports
in the system log. The user can select two entries in the log search
results and view a diff of the two versions.
To test, apply the patch and check that the ReportsLog system
preference is enabled. If it isn't, enable it and make some changes to
saved SQL reports so that you have log entries to test with.
This is a trivial patch that simply adds "REPORTS" type log entries to
the list of modules which can be selected for comparison. The full test
plan is basically the same as that for Bug 26207:
- Perform a search for log entries in the "Reports" module.
- In the results, each entry for a report update should have a
"Compare" checkbox."
- Check one of the checkboxes.
- The table should now be filtered by the report title. This
facilitates meaningful selections for comparison.
- You should see a message displayed onscreen, "Showing results
for...[report name]"
- The "Check none" link in the toolbar above the table should now be
enabled.
- If youy click the "Compare selected" link in the toolbar at this
stage you should get a message, "You must select two entries to
compare."
- If you uncheck the checkbox the table should return to an unfiltered
state.
- Check two checkboxes.
- The "Compare selected" link in the toolbar should now be enabled.
- Next to each of the checkboxes you checked should be a "View
comparison" link.
- Clicking either of the "View comparison" links or the "Compare
selected" link should trigger a modal with the diff view of the two
reports log entries.
- Try to select a third checkbox. You should get a message, "You can
select a maximum of two checkboxes." The box should remain unchecked.
- Test that unchecking both checkboxes manually clears the table filter.
- Test that the "Check none" link works to uncheck checked boxes and
clear the table filter.

This patch implements a few changes in the way authority records are
displayed in search results.
- In most cases heading type is now displayed as a separate column in
the table of search results.
- The heading itself is now linked rather than a separate "details"
link.
In the authority search results for MARC editor plugins the heading link
triggers a modal with the authority details instead of linking to a
separate page.
To test, apply the patch and go to Authorities.
- Perform an authority search which will return results.
- In the search results headings should be linked to the
corresponding detail page.
- There should be a separate column for heading type.
- Go to Cataloging and create a new record using a framework which has
a field linked to an authority type (e.g. 100a -> PERSO_NAME ).
- Perform a search which will return results.
- In the search results, clicking a heading link should trigger a
modal window with the authority details.
- Test multiple entries in the results and confirm that each
time the correct data is loaded into the modal window.
- Test the same process for a field which is linked to the
unimarc_field_210c.pl plugin.
- Go to Tools -> Batch record modification and submit multiple
authority record numbers.
- In the results list the heading should be linked correctly to the
corresponding detail page. Heading type is not present in this
view.
- Perform the same test with batch record deletion.

From its inception, phone notices via Talking Tech have not behaved like
other notices. Instead of reading notices generated by Koha, the Talking
Tech scripts largely generate their own notices.
We would like to pave the way to having "generic" phone notices that can
be processed by plugins to support arbitrary telephony vendors ( we will
be targeting Twilio initially ).
To that end, it seems sensible to begin by changing the messaage
transport type for Talking Tech from 'phone' to 'itiva' to
highlight its specificity and difference from standard message
transports.

Instead of using the machine sortable form of the callnumber from
cn_sort the table was only sorting on the callnumber. This tries
to fix it using the same technique as for sorting the differently
formatted dates.
To test:
- If your database has items with suitably cataloged items, use
these. Otherwise you could use the examples from the bug report:
- Catalog items with the following barcodes:
B 29 V55 1998
B29 .C55 2008
B29 .L24 1983
B29 .L264 1998
B29 .P666 2004
Make sure the LOC is selected in $2 as source of classification
This makes sure the sortable form of the callnumber is calculated
correctly.
- Go to inventory
- Search for your items
- Before patch, they should sort on callnumber as above, after the
patch the correct sort order should be:
B29 .C55 2008
B29 .L24 1983
B29 .L264 1998
B29 .P666 2004
B 29 V55 1998

This patch removes the jquery.checkboxes plugin from the staff client.
It also removes some leftover instances of the "checkboxed" class which
was used in some cases to enable the checkbox plugin on selected
elements.
To test, apply the patch and check that the jquery.checkboxes plugin no
longer exists in /intranet-tmpl/lib/jquery/plugins.
To test changes to the templates, confirm that "Check all" and "Check
none" links still work on these pages:
- The tags review page. See the test plan for Bug 26120.
- The inventory page. See the test plan for Bug 26150.
- The list contents page. See the test plan for Bug 26204.
The other modified templates contained the "checkboxed" class but it
served no purpose:
- Serials -> Serials collection
- Labels -> Edit label batch
- Patron cards -> Edit card batch
If you search the Koha codebase for instances of "checkboxed" the only
results should be from the OPAC (if Bug 26805 hasn't been applied) and
in Z39.50 templates where the class is still used by JavaScript.

This patchset adds the ability to attach cover images at item level.
This commit message will explain the different patches that are
following.
The main idea is to have cover images for a given item. This is useful
for a bibliographic record linked with a subscription. Each item could
have the cover image for the serial numbers.
In this first patch there is a limitation to allow only 1 cover per
item, but a later patch will remove it. That way we will take advantage
of the recent work done to display nicely cover images (bug 25031), and
reuse it in this development (staff interface only).
In order to use a flexible and robust code, the legacy C4 code
(C4::Images) has been moved to Koha::CoverImages. Also the DB table
biblioimages has been renamed cover_images.
Test plan (for the whole patch set):
0. Turn off AllowMultipleCovers
1. Create a new bibliographic record and items
2. Attach a cover image to the bibliographic record
3. In the item list of the bibliographic detail page, you will notice a
new "Upload image" action. Select it
4. Select an image
=> Notice the new column in the item table
5. Upload another image
=> You cannot upload 2 images, you are going to replace the existing one
6. Turn on AllowMultipleCovers
7. Attach another image to the image
=> Notice the 2 images are displayed nicely, with navigation controls
8. Confirm you can view an image if you click on it and you can delete it
9. Test the OPAC view now
=> Cover image for items are displayed in the table, there is no
navigation controls here however.

(in addition to upload a barcode file, like in other tools)
Test plan:
1) Apply the patch.
2) Check that you can still upload a barcode file.
3) Check that you can scan/enter barcodes in the new textarea.
4) Check that if you both upload a barcode file and enter barcodes,
you will be prompted to choose only one method.
5) Check that you can then proceed to the next step by either resetting the
upload file input or emptying the textarea.

This patch adds the ability to compare the values of system preferences
in the system log. The user can select two entries in the log search
results and view a diff of the two versions.
The feature is designed specifically for CSS and JS preferences like
OpacUserCSS or OpacUserJS where code changes are difficult to track.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Log viewer. You may need to
add values and make changes to preferences like OpacUserCSS if you don't
already have a history in your logs.
- Perform a search for log entries in the "System prefs" module.
- In the results, each entry for a system preference should have a
"Compare" checkbox."
- Check one of the checkboxes.
- The table should now be filtered by the system preference name. This
facilitates meaningful selections for comparison.
- You should see a message displayed onscreen, "Showing results
for...[ preference name]"
- The "Check none" link in the toolbar above the table should now be
enabled.
- If youy click the "Compare selected" link in the toolbar at this
stage you should get a message, "You must select two entries to
compare."
- If you uncheck the checkbox the table should return to an unfiltered
state.
- Check two checkboxes.
- The "Compare selected" link in the toolbar should now be enabled.
- Next to each of the checkboxes you checked should be a "View
comparison" link.
- Clicking either of the "View comparison" links or the "Compare
selected" link should trigger a modal with the diff view of the two
preferences.

In tools home there is a link to the table showing tool plugins.
Would be great to be able to run a tool plugin directly from tools home.
Also adds the behavior than if there is no tool plugin, "Tool plugins"
section is not displayed in tools home.
No need of a link that goes to an empty table ;)
Test plan :
1) Enable plugins, dont install any
2) Go to "Tools" module : /cgi-bin/koha/tools/tools-home.pl
3) Check you dont see "Tool plugins"
4) Install a tool plugin like Carrousel https://inlibro.com/instructions-carrousel/

This patch moves strings defined for translation in letter.tt
into letter.js for translation using the new double-underscore
i81n function.
Note, the "MSG_NO_NOTICE_FOUND" usage has been removed because it didn't
work.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Notices & Slips.
- Use the "Copy" dropdown to copy an existing notice to a specific
library.
- Save the copied notice.
- Return to the "All libraries" view on the Notices & Slips page.
- Repeat the same process above: Copy the same notice to the same
library.
- When you click save on the "Add notice" page you should get an error
message, "A letter with the code 'ACCTDETAILS' already exists for
<library>"
- From the "All libraries" view on the Notices & Slips page, copy the
text in the "Code" column of an existing notice.
- Click "New notice" and choose the module of the notice you copied
from.
- On the "Add notice" page, paste the code into the "Code" field and
enter a name in the "Name" field.
- Click "Save" without making any other changes. You should get an error
message, "Please fill at least one template."
- Enter some data into one of the message body fields but not message
subject, and click "Save" again.
- You should get an error, "Please specify title and content for
<notice>"
- Enter data in the message subject field and click "Save" again.
- You should get an error, "A default letter with the code <CODE>
already exists."
TESTING TRANSLATABILITY
- Update a translation, e.g. fr-FR:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for JavaScript strings, e.g.
misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages-js.po
- Locate strings pulled from
koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/letter.js for translation,
e.g.:
msgid "Please fill at least one template."
msgstr ""
- Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for testing).
- Install the updated translation:
> perl translate install fr-FR
- Switch to your newly translated language in the staff client

I think this makes sense because management of reports is an ongoing
task, not a configuration.
To test, apply the patch and enable the OPACReportProblem system
preference.
- Go to Administration. There should be no link to OPAC problem
reports.
- Open an administration page which shows the Administration menu in
the left-hand sidebar, e.g. Libraries. There should be no link to
OPAC problem reports in the menu.
- Go to Tools. There should be a link to OPAC problem reports in the
"Addional tools" section.
- Open the OPAC problem reports page and confirm that it works
correctly.
- The breadcrumbs menu should show "Tools > OPAC problem reports."
- Confirm that the link in the sidebar menu works correctly.
- If necessary, submit an OPAC problem report via the OPAC so that
there is a pending report. Go to the staff interface home page and
check that the "OPAC problem reports pending" link works correctly.

This new enhancement adds the ability to create a CSV profile for the late
orders export.
Prior to this, the CSV profile was hardcoded in a template and not
editable (unless you modify the .tt file of course).
The main difficulty of the request was to make the multiple claims dates
accessible from the CSV profile. So far we only accept columns from the
database. However we would like to use the Koha::Acquisition::Order
object to make things easier (it had a ->claims method to access the
different claims).
To acchieve this, we are going to accept the TT syntax for that CSV profile.
It means that only CSV profiles created for 'late_orders' will have the
capability to use the TT syntax (can be extended later of course if
needed).
The alternative was to use specific placeholders, like %claims_count%,
%claimed_date%, but it sounded more powerful and flexible to allow the
TT syntax instead.
Note that the former export (template based) still exists and is the
default option.
Test plan:
0. Apply the patches and execute the update database entry
1. Create some orders, close the basket
2. Claim some of the orders
3. Note the new button at the bottom of the table that have several
entries.
=> The first entry will generate a CSV file using the previous method
=> The second entry will generate it using the new CSV profile, note
that the number of claims as well as the different claims date are
displayed.
4. Bonus point: Edit the CSV profile (Home › Tools › CSV export
profiles) that is named "Late orders (csv profile)", or create a new
one, and modify it.
Export the late orders using this CSV profile and confirm that the
generated CSV file is the one you expect.

The GetBorrowerAttributes subroutine return the attributes for a given
patron.
Using get_extended_attributes we can acchieve it easily. The problematic
here is to restore the method's name (value vs attribute,
value_description vs description of the authorised value, as well as
display_checkout that should not be a method of Attribute, but
Attribute::Type instead)
value_description was used when the attribute types were attached to an
authorised value category. To avoid the necessary test in template and
controller there is now a $attribute->description method that will
display either the attribute's value OR the value of the authorised
value when needed. We should certainly use this one from few other
places.
Notes:
* This patch rename Koha::Patron->attributes with Koha::Patron->get_extended_attributes.
It will be renamed with Koha::Patron->extended_attributes in ones of the next
patches when it will become a setter as well.
* GetBorrowerAttributes did not care about the library limits, we still
do not
* The opac_only flag was not used outside of test, we drop it off.
* To maintain the existing behavior we add a default order-by clause to
the search method [code, attribute]
* From C4::Letters::_parseletter we always display the staff description
of the AV, There is now a FIXME to warn about it
* FIXMEs are not regressions, existing behaviors must be kept
* TODO add a new check to bug 21010 to search for inconsistencies in
patron's attributes attached to non-existent authorised values
* One test has been updated in Modifications.t, order_by is now

The JavaScript used to process background uploads calls the humanMsg
library under some circumstances. There are several templates which use
background-job-progressbar.js which don't include the humanMsg assets.
This patch corrects those templates.
Note: upload-images.tt has been modified to remove the inclusion of
background-job-progressbar.js because it was unused.
To test, apply the patch and test the following processes which include
background job processing:
- Batch item modification -- the background job is triggered when you
submit your changes
- Batch record modification -- the background job is triggered when you
submit your changes
- Stage MARC for import -- the background job is triggered when you
click the "Sage for import" button after uploading a file
- Staged MARC management -- the background job is triggered when you
click "Import this batch into the catalog"
In each case the process should complete correctly. If you would like to
test the error message handling provided by the humanMsg library you can
deliberately introduce an error into the JavaScript. After applying the
patch you can modify js/background-job-progressbar.js to alter line 63
from:
url: f.action,
...to:
url: f.action + "foo",
Perform the same tests and confirm that you see an error message. Don't
forget to undo your changes to background-job-progressbar.js before
signing off.

This patch builds on Bug 22318 to move the opacheader system preference
into the Koha news system, making it possible to have language- and

It extends the original patch by adding an option to the template plugin
specifying whether the content title should be shown (probably should be
a flag in opac_news). It also adds a wrapper div with the content
location as the ID (e.g. 'opacheader'). This will make it slightly more
backwards-compatible with CSS customizations.
To test you should have some content in the opacheader system
preference. Apply the patch and run the database update process.
- Go to the OPAC and confirm that the content which was previously in
the opacheader system preference now displays correctly where it was
before.
- In the staff client, go to Tools -> News and verify that the content
from opacheader is now stored in a news item with the location
'opacheader_en.'
- Go to Administration -> System preferences and confirm that the
opacheader preference has been removed.

When adding MARC modification template (MMT) actions, if a subfield
value of 0 (zero) is entered it will not show up in the action's
description upon saving. Also, if you try to modify an authority or
biblio record using actions that refer to subfield 0 the procedure
will fail.
This patch fixes that.
Test plan:
0) Create a MARC modification template and add some actions to it,
ideally testing all action types (Delete/Add new/Update existing
or add new/Move/Copy/Copy and replace); make sure you input a 0
(integer zero) in the text box for the subfield value(s).
1) As you save each action, observe that subfield 0 ($0) is missing
from the action description.
2) Home > Tools > Batch record modification: try to modify a biblio-
graphic record using the modification template you just created.
Observe that you get an error in the system logs if you click on
'Show MARC' or 'Modify selected records'.
3) Apply the patch.
4) Repeat steps 0-2. The subfield value ($0) should be displayed in
the action description and the Batch record modification should
work without problems.

When a librarian is viewing the log for a given patron (tab "modification log"
from the circulation module), the "object" and "modules" parameter can
be modified. It does not make sense, we should stay in the circulation
module and avoid those fields to be modified.
Test plan:
- Modify several patrons (in order to have several modification logs)
- Go to the modification log tab of one of them
- Notice that the "Object" input is not a "Borrowernumber" labelled
input and that you cannot modify it.
Also notice that the "modules" is hidden.

This patch modifies the way data is passed to the staged MARC record
management template, splitting author, ISBN, and ISSN out of the
"citation" variable and passing them separately.
The DataTables configuration for the staged MARC record management page
is modified so that those now-separate variables are conditionally
displayed.
Unrelated minor change: Added a class to the MARC preview modal so that
it displays wider.
To test, apply the patch and view the "Staged MARC management" page for

This patch adds some inline CSS to force clearing on some elements in
the forms for batch record modification and deletion. The problem with
selecting the "Authorities" radio button stemmed from the fact that

This patch updates the TinyMCE editor to the latest version (5.0.16) and
adds a translatable include file which will allow the TinyMCE interface
to show the same translation as Koha.
The configuration of the editor has been updated according to the new
version's requirements, keeping all the tools available we had before
and adding emoji support.
To test, apply the patch and enable the UseWYSIWYGinSystemPreferences
system preference.
TESTING THE UPGRADED EDITOR
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> OPAC.
- Multiple instances of the TinyMCE editor should appear on the page:
opaccredits, OpacCustomSearch, OpacLoginInstructions, etc.
- Test adding and editing content to one or more of these editors.
Confirm that the various editor tools work correctly.
- Verify that changing the contents of any editor (including via paste)
enables the corresponding "Save all X preferences" button.
- Test the news editor under Tools -> News.
- Test the library "OPAC info" editor in libraries administration:
Administration -> Libraries -> Edit library -> OPAC info.
TESTING TRANSLATABILITY
- Update a translation:
> cd misc/translator
> perl translate update fr-FR
- Open the corresponding .po file for the staff client, e.g.
misc/translator/po/fr-FR-staff-prog.po
- Locate strings pulled from includes/str/tinymce_i18n.inc for
translation, e.g.:
#. SCRIPT
#: intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/str/tinymce_i18n.inc:1
#, fuzzy
msgid "File"
msgstr "Fichier :"
- Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for testing) and
remove the "fuzzy" line.
- Install the updated translation:
> perl translate install fr-FR
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> OPAC.
- In each instance of the TinyMCE editor, the first menu item should
have as its label the translation "msgstr" string you edited.
- Check that the "About" page shows updated information about
the TinyMCE version, 5.0.16.

In Tools > Batch item modification, one can modify or delete a subfield.
When deleting a subfield et modifying another, the wrong subfield gets modified.
This is caused by the fact that disabled inputs are not posted in form.
So for a subfield to delete :
Input name=field_value is not posted. But input name=subfield is posted with subfield code.
So these 2 arrays does not have the same size :
my @subfields = $input->multi_param('subfield');
my @values = $input->multi_param('field_value');
For exemple, deleting $2, not changing $u and modidying $v will modify $u with value for $v o_O
This patch correts but setting disabled all inputs of a deleted subfield : field_value, tag, subfield and mandatory. Like it was not present in the form.
Test plan :
- Go to Tools > Batch item modification
- Enter a barcode and submit
- Lets say there are subfields : $2 (not mandatory), $u and $v
- Check the subfield $2 to be deleted
=> $2 input is disabled
- Enter a text in $v
- Submit the form
=> Without patch, the text for $v gets into $u
=> With patch, the text for $v gets into $v
- Check the subfield $2 is well deleted

This patch upgrades DataTables and makes some style changes to the
default DataTables toolbar style. DataTables assets are now combined and
minified using their download customizer, bundling together these
elements:
- JSZip 2.5.0
- pdfmake 0.1.36
- DataTables 1.10.18
- Buttons 1.5.6
- Column visibility 1.5.6
- HTML5 export 1.5.6
- Print view 1.5.6
- FixedHeader 3.1.4
DataTables assets have been moved from lib/jquery/plugins to
lib/datatables. The global header and footer include files are updated
correspondingly.
This patch removes the custom "four_button" pagination configuration and
updates pages which used it to use the built-in "full" type instead.
This is done for the sake of consistency and upgradability. This change
touches a lot of files.
Table-specific CSS has been moved from staff-global.scss to a new
include, _tables.scss. A second common include, _mixins.scss has some
variable definitions used in both files.
Many images have been made obsolete by this change and have been
removed.
To test, apply the patch and regenerate the staff client CSS. View
various pages in the staff client with tables:
- Not formatted by DataTables:
- Reports -> Most circulated items
- Catalog -> Search results
- Formatted by DataTables without column configuration
- Acquisitions -> Vendor search
- Lists
- Formatted by DataTables with column configuration
- Administration -> Libraries
- Administration -> Item types
- Reports -> Saved SQL reports

Check the borrower_debarments table and notice all restrictions for the
patron are removed.
Check the borrowers table and notice the debarred and debarredcomment
fields are empty for the patrons

This patch makes a number of interface changes to the Stock Rotation
management interface:
- "Add stage" and "Add items" forms are now triggered by clicking new
buttons in the toolbar.
- "Manage stages" and "Manage items" menu items have been added to a
sidebar menu to be displayed when stages or items are being managed.
- JavaScript has been added to move focus to the first form field in
the modal when it is displayed. The "autofocus" attribute is not
sufficent here because the modal is hidden by default.
- Add messages to be shown when there are no items or stages to be
displayed.
- Correct "selected" attributes to use XHTML-style: selected="selected"
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> Stock rotation.
- Create a rota if you don't already have one.
- Manage stages for your rota.
- If your rota has no stages you should see a message along with an
"Add stage" button. The button should trigger the "Add stage"
modal.
- Test the "Add stage" button in the toolbar. It should trigger a
modal dialog containing the form for adding a new stage. The
cursor focus should automatically be on the "library" field.
- Submitting the form should correctly add the stage.
- Verify that there is a new menu in the sidebar, "Manage stages"
and "Manage items."
- Manage items for your rota.
- If your rota has no items you should see a message along with an
"Add items" button. The button should trigger the "Add items"
modal.

This patch makes a few changes to the configuration of the DataTable
showing news items in the staff client. It adds a default sort on
"Publication date," descending; It updates the way non-sortable columns
are configured; It modifies sorting on the title and content columns so
that articles are ignored.
To test, apply the patch and go to Tools -> News.
- When the page loads the table of news items should sort by default on
publication date, descending.
- There should be no sorting indicator on the first and last columns.

When the "new" button is clicked without selecting a patron's attribute, the update will have unexpected behaviors.
There is indeed a difference in the number of patron's attributes and the number of values.
Test plan:

Enter a cardnumber
At the bottom of the page, click "new" without selecting an attribute
On the second line select one, and a value (different than an empty

This patch modifies the Koha news page so that filtering the table of
news is done using DataTables' built-in search functionality. This
allows for the table to be filtered without requiring a reload of the
page.

keyword field. A minor change has been made to the global CSS to improve
the display of the form in the sidebar.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS.

Bug 21216 added a way to designate DataTables columns to include in
export operations (Copy, CSV, print, etc). However, this solution did
not take hidden columns into account. This patch revises the global
columns configuration settings so that exports will include only visible
columns and will exclude columns with a "noExport" class on the <th>.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.
- Go to Tools -> Stock rotation
- In the table of rotas, hide some columns in the table and verify that
export operations include only your visible selections, excluding the
last column with buttons.
- Choose a rota and select Manage -> Items. Test that this table works

This patch implements a Koha news system replacement of the OpacNavRight
system preference. The changes to koha-news.tt enable the selection of
"OpacNavRight" as a location for the content. opac-main.pl is modified
to ensure that the user's selected language is passed to the template
for use by the KohaNews plugin.
The database update process takes the contents of Koha's OpacNavRight
system preference and adds it to the Koha news system. The OpacNavRight
system preference is then removed from the database.
When the new entry is added to Koha news, the language is set based on
the top selected language in the "opaclanguages" preference. The entry
is added to "All libraries" without an author, title, or expiration
date.
Note that this patch doesn't change the way OPAC news is displayed. I
think it's best to keep existing markup and code for that since it
handles details like branch selection and RSS.
To test, apply the patch and run the database update.
- In the staff client go to Tools -> News and confirm that there is now
an entry with the location "OpacNavRight_en" (assuming an "en"
English interface).
- Confirm that the previous contents of OpacNavRight were added
correctly.
- Go to Administration -> System preferences -> OPAC and verify that
the OpacNavRight preference has been removed.
- In the OPAC, confirm that the correct content is displayed in the
region previously defined in the OpacNavRight system preference.
- Test that the language and library-specific nature of news items is
reflected in the behavior of this content area:
- Define different text based on language and location. Confirm that
switching translations and logging in to the OPAC both trigger the
correct display of different content.

Desired behavior of the script advance_notices.pl is that the sender
address on the notice message is that of the branch of the issues in
question. Thus, the solution is to generate digest messages per
branch.
To test:
1) Inspect unit test in t/db_dependent/cronjobs/advance_notices_digest.t and note that:
- There are three libraries
- There is a borrower
- The borrower is registered at library1
- The borrower has message preference wants_digest set to 1
- The borrower has message preference days_in_advance set to 1
- The content of the letter PREDUEDGST is '<<count>> <<branches.branchname>>'
- There are three items
- There is one issue per item
- There is one issues at library2
- There are two issues at library3
- The date_due of the issues are set to tomorrow
- For the default case (no -digest-per-message)
- It is asserted that there is one message in the message queue after running the script
- It is asserted that there are three items in the message.
- It is asserted that the branchname is that of the borrower's home library.
- For the case where -digest-per-message is enabled
- It is asserted that there are two messages in the message queue after running the script
- It is asserted that the item count of the message corresponding to library2 is 1
- It is asserted that the item count of the message corresponding to library3 is 2
- It is asserted that the branchnames are correct.
2) Run unit test: prove t/db_dependent/cronjobs/advance_notices_digest.t

This patch makes a number of changes in order to improve the way the
staff client's header menu adjusts at narrower browser widths:
- Updated version of Bootstrap 3.3.7 which includes the "collapse"
JavaScript plugin.
- Modified default Bootstrap CSS using Bootstrap's customization tool.
These changes facilitate the removal of some custom CSS (overriding
Bootstrap) from staff-global.scss.
- Added Bootstrap config file for loading customizations at
https://getbootstrap.com/docs/3.3/customize/
- Revised button classes for buttons in Bootstrap-styled toolbars.
The modified default CSS resets the base font size in Bootstrap to
better match our global CSS. A side-effect of this is that toolbar
buttons ended up looking smaller than they should. Changing the
button class solves this.
- Restructure the header menu in order to allow different rules to
govern the appearance of the navigational part of the menu
(Circulation, Search, etc) and the user menu (Set library, My
account, Log out).
- Modify the cart JS to so that the popup works well at narrow widths.
To test, apply the patch, regenerate the staff client CSS, and clear
your browser cache.
- Log in to the staff client and observe the layout of the header menu
as you adjust the browser to various widths.
- Confirm that sections of the menu "collapse" as the window gets
narrower.
- Confirm that dropdown menus behave correctly and that links work.
- Confirm that the Cart link works as expected when the cart empty
and when it has items.
- Install and enable multiple translations, including at least one
set of sub-languages (e.g. fr-FR and fr-CA).
- Test the appearance of the language menus in the footer at
various browser widths.
- View pages with button toolbars and confirm that they appear unchanged
(e.g. biblio detail page, patron detail page).
NOTE: While this patch is intended to make improvements to staff client
responsiveness, it does so within a limited scope. There are still many
pages which do not work well at narrower browser widths.

The headings for each column on the tools page will show, even if the
user has no permission for any tool below it. This patch tries to
correct this.
To test:
- Try various combinations of tool permissions
- On the tools module start page and for the tools sidebar
visible on the left on a tool's page:
- Make sure headings don't show when you have no permissions
for any of the tools listed below
- Make sure headings show correctly if you have one or
many of the tools permissions needed

When adding new holidays to the calendar, you pick the start date,
and then the end date, but the end date calendar will start from
current date, not from the picked start date. Sometimes this means
many extra clicks to pick an end date.
Make the end date calendar start from the beginning date by default.
Test plan:
1) Go to the tools -> calendar
2) Pick a start date somewhere in the future, and then open the
end date calendar. Notice how it starts before the start date
of the date range.
3) Apply patch.
4) Pick a start date in the future. The end date calendar should
automatically default to the same date.
5) Change the start date a day backwards, note how the end date
does not change.
6) Change the start date after the end date, note how the end date
adjusts, so it is not in the past.

- Acquisitions -> Vendor -> View basket
- On both these pages, test toolbar behavior before and after
expanding the "Orders search" options at the top of the page.
- Administration -> System preferences
- Authorities -> Create or edit an authority
- Catalog -> Advanced search
- Search results
- Catalog -> Item search
- Cataloging -> Add or edit a record
- Open the plugin window for the 008 field
- Tools -> Label creator -> New label batch -> Add items -> Search ->
Results
- Patrons -> New patron
- Test before and after expanding the patron search options at the
top of the page
- Test editing a patron too
- Tools -> Automatic item modifications by age -> Edit
- Tools -> Notices & slips -> Edit
- Lists -> View list

The MARC modification template actions editor does not validate
user input when adding a conditional clause, making it possible
to save a modification action without filling in all necessary
fields.
This patch fixes that.
Test plan:
1) Create a MARC modification template and add a new action,
e.g. "Copy All field(s) 200$a to field 600$a".
Add a condition ("if" or "unless") but leave the relevant
field and subfield textboxes empty.
Add "matches" or "doesn't match" as a comparison operator.
Check the "RegEx" checkbox, leave the regex textbox empty.
2) Click on "Add action" and notice how it accepts your input.
Also notice the extra space in the Action column RegEx.
3) Edit your modification action and notice the missing "m/"
before the conditional RegEx.
4) Apply the patch and hit CTRL-F5 to reload the relevant JS.
5) Edit the modification action you added previously (or add
a new one). Try leaving the textboxes mentioned above empty
and then submit your changes. You should get pop-up windows
informing you about missing fields.
6) Now try typing a value in the conditional regex textbox and
Update your action. In the Action column, there should be
no spaces between the delimiters of the matching operator
and the value you just entered.
7) Edit your action: notice how the "m/" before the regular
expression and the "/" after it are now showing correctly.

Why? Because we must filter the variables when we display them.
If we escape them on assignement, they will be double escaped:
[% XXX = "<span>pouet</span>" | html %]
[% XXX | html %]
=> <span>pouet</span>
Also it will bring trouble if we are assigning a structure (see bug
21663 for instance).
