The new Upload.pm, unit test and file-upload.js obsolete a number of
files, including an older jQuery plugin.
The test files progressbar.pl and progressbarsubmit.pl are outdated and
do not serve any purpose in this form. (Actually, we could argue if they
should be here or just be part of a debugging phase.)
Test plan:
[1] Git grep on file-progress, file-upload.inc, UploadedFile,
ajaxfileupload, ajaxFileUpload
UploadedFile: Only a reference to DBIx file is found
ajaxfileupload: Only release notes

This patch makes the following changes to achieve that:
[1] Use Upload.pm in stage-marc-import.pl, upload-cover-image.pl,
offline_circ/process_koc.pl and enqueue_koc.pl.
[2] A new file-upload.js replaces file-upload.inc in the associated template.
We now use ajax to get progress figures instead of launching perl script
upload-file-progress.
The js changes now also allow for aborting a file upload.
[3] Adds a tools/upload script and template. It allows to upload multiple
files at once.
[4] Makes upload-file return error messages in JSON. For a multiple upload,
we could have some files with errors and others without errors.
The upload is now marked as Failed only if there was no upload at all.
[5] The upload plugin is converted to use tools/upload with plugin param.
Deleting an upload is now presented via the search results form.
NOTE: In editing the process_koc.tt I noticed that the form enqueuefile was
hidden and no longer used (with associated code in process_koc.pl). When a
file has been uploaded, I display the form again (with the Apply directly
button). The code still works.
NOTE: We fix an error in upload-file from one of the patches of bug 6874.
The userid of the Koha admin user is passed to haspermission, but we
should pick the userid from the session.
NOTE: Bug 14686 will add a specific permission for tools/upload.pl, and
will add the tools/upload script to the Tools menu.
For now, you need edit_catalogue to start upload.pl and you will
additionally need a permission like upload_local_cover_images
to successfully upload a new file.
Test plan:
[1] Upload a marc file in stage-marc-import. (This is temp storage.)
[2] Check new entry in table uploaded_files. Look for the file in your
temporary directory (/tmp ?), subfolder koha_upload.
Bonus: Remove permissions on this subfolder. Retry, check error and
restore permissions again.
[3] Upload another (larger) file and abort the upload. Check table and
directory again. You should have a partial file, but no record.
[4] Verify that Stage for import still works as expected.
[5] Test Upload local cover image. (Enable OPACLocalCoverImages.) You can
test an individual image or a zip file including images and a file
called datalink.txt (with lines biblionumber,filename).
[6] Test uploading a offline circulation file:
Enable AllowOfflineCirculation, and create a koc file (plain text):
Line1: Version=1.0\tA=1\tB=2
Line2: 2015-08-06 08:00:00 345\treturn\t[barcode]
Note: Replace tabs and barcode. The number of tabs is essential!
Checkout the item with your barcode.
Go to Offline circulation file upload. Upload and click Apply directly.
Checkout again. Upload again, click Add to offline circulation queue.
[7] Upload three files via tools/upload.pl with a category and marked as
public. Check the results in the table.
Verify that you can download the file in OPAC without being logged in.
[8] Pick one new file and one of the files of step 7. Upload them in the
same category. One upload should succeed. Check for reported error.
[9] Connect upload.pl to field 856$u.
Goto Cataloguing editor.
In an empty 856$u, click the tag editor. Upload a file and click Choose.
Save the record. Open the record in the OPAC and click the link.
Copy this link to your clipboard for next step.
[A] Go back to editor. Click the tag editor on the same 856 field.
Choose for Delete.
Open the link in your clipboard again. Error message?
[B] Check the process of upload, search, download and delete of an upload
with some diacritical characters in the filename. (Bonus points for
adding special chars in the category code.)
Note: You can add categories via authorized values, UPLOAD key.

Numbered links have incorrect url. Links to result pages
don't work in Receive Shipment List (but fortunately, Next
and Previous buttons work) It's because the booksellerid is
not furnished in the url.
Test Plan :

know you can get many page of invoices for and search for it.
2) click on Receive shipment button.
3) On bottom of the first results page, click on page number 2
link. (cf joined screencast)

booksellerid. Indeed, I suppose that you get results from all booksellerid.

NOTE: I did not follow this test plan.
I read the acqui/parcels.pl code.
The template parameter numbers is assigned in a function which has
no reference to booksellerid at all!
Additionally, the booksellerid is set directly elsewhere.

this loop do not use the numbers.booksellerid, but just booksellerid.

This patch adds a system preference "UseWYSIWYGinSystemPreferences" to the Staff Client tab.
By default, it is off, which means that the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor won't be shown for system
preferences with a type of "htmlarea".
However, when it's on, it will show the editor for "Local Use" preferences with a "htmlarea"
type, and for other system preferences in the "Opac", "Circulation", and "Staff Client" tabs,
which I have re-assigned. (Basically, I grepped for HTML and changed the type for all
the system preferences I found except for "IntranetNav", "OpacCustomSearch", and "OPACSearchForTitleIn",
as a WYSIWYG editor would potentially break the output for these system preferences or
add no value to them...)
_TEST PLAN_
0) Run `perl installer/data/mysql/updatedatabase.pl` after setting your environmental variables
1) Check the Opac tab to make sure that the WYSIWYG is nowhere to be seen
2) Change the "UseWYSIWYGinSystemPreferences" preference in "Staff Client" to "Show"
3) Refresh the Opac tab and notice that many system preferences now have a WYSIWYG editor
4) Try typing some text into these fields
5) Note that it gets marked as "modified"
6) Save the preference, and refresh the page
7) Note that the content has been saved
8) Take a look at how it's rendered on the actual webpage!

This patch adds the ability to use a WYSIWYG editor for system preferences.
The key files that I touch are:
1) admin/systempreferences.pl
2) koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/admin/preferences.tt
3) koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/admin/systempreferences.tt
I also add:
4) koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/wysiwyg-systempreferences.inc
and
5) koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/lib/tiny_mce/plugins/advimage
This plugin is part of the TinyMCE distribution. It used to be in Koha, but
then someone removed it. It's useful for preferences like "opacheader" though.
*If you're using anything except IE, this should work super well. If
you're using IE, it'll probably only work for keyboard input and dragging
text within the editor box but not from outside of it. IE has worse
security, so you can probably paste using the context menu paste.
*While I think a WYSIWYG editor can be useful, there might be times
where the content is displayed differently than it is in the editor
because of higher level CSS and Javascript.

The previous patch wants to select the barcode option when the user is
on the item search for label, in all cases.
So even if 'title' is selected, a search done, and there is no result,
the barcode index is selected anyway.
In this case, the title option should be kept.
Test plan:
Confirm that the barcode option is the default choice, but other values
are kept if the search does not return any result.
Followed test plan, behaves as expected. Tested with all choices.

There is a missing space in the "added to cart" message on the staff side, when you are adding 2 or more items to the cart, where 1+ is already in the cart and 1+ is not in the cart. I verified that this is not an issue in the OPAC cart function.
Test:
1. Search for records in your system.
2. In search results, select the first two records and choose Add to Cart.
3. Message returned, "2 item(s) added to your cart", as expected.
4. Keep those 2 records selected, and select 2 additional records (so 4 total records selected), and choose Add to Cart again.

Display 773 in opac and staff details when ind1 !=1
Test plan
=========
1/ Add a new record which uses the 773 field to an instance running
master code. (the selected MARC framework should have the 773's
relevant sub-fields enabled and visible on staff client, opac and
the editor).
2/ Set ind1 as '0' (zero). The note should be displayed both on OPAC
as well as the staff client.
3/ Reset ind1 with a non-zero value or leave it blank. The display
note should no longer be visible from either client or opac.
4/ Apply the patch.
5/ Repeat step #1 and #2. The note is displayed on staff and opac.
6/ Repeat step #3. The display note should be visible on both staff
and opac.
7/ run koha-qa.pl -c 1 -v 2
Note : For #1 above, the following LoC record was used:

If a patron has duplicate accountno's for two different fines in Koha this will trigger the error
usi_escape: Unmatched [ in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/([ <-- HERE ])/ at (eval 133) line 1.
upon attempt to pay. How those accountno's get duplicated is unknown, but considering accountno
is somewhat vestigial at this point in time, it would be much more sensible to use accountlines_id

The translation script adds quotes ("") around translated string (Edit
for instance).
Which breaks the json structure.
Example:
"dt_action": "<a style=\"cursor:pointer\"><form action='shelves.pl'
method='get'><input class="editshelf" value="Editar" type="submit"
/></form></a>"
Test plan:
1/ On the staff interface create a private list
2/ Go to More > Lists ('Your lists' tab)
3/ Translate the templates to any language like:
$ cd misc/translator/
$ perl translate install es-ES
4/ Enable the translated templates on the sysprefs
5/ Switch to the translated language
6/ Go to the lists page (Mas > Listas in es-ES)
The list should be displayed correctly.
Note: There is a limitation. If a translated string contains a simple
quote ('), it will also break the json.

When viewing a list, the focus/cursor is no longer on the "add items" field below the list.
This patch moves the "Add Item" form at left part of page so that it is always shown (usefull when there are a lot of items). And adds focus to barcode input so you can enter several items with a barcode scanner.
Test instructions:
1. Create a list
2. Make sure you have an object with an assigned barcode

This patch does:
[1] Some trivial template changes. Modified some comments (POD lines).
[2] Converted plugin to new style.
[3] Table updates: renames id to hashvalue, adds a autoincrement id,
adds filesize, timestamp, owner and category.
RM: This db rev is in a separate sql file in atomicupdate.
[4] Code references to computed hash renamed to hashvalue instead of id.
[5] Removed some code pertaining to exposing upload dir structure. The user
now may choose a category; the uploader takes care of storage.
The list of upload categories is now taken from authorised values; this
might become a separate table in the future. (If there are none,
the upload process creates one default fallback.)
We can add e.g. permissions later, subdir structure, etc. (So dir will
not necessarily be category anymore.)
Test plan:
[1] Run the db revision.
[2] Upload new file. Check the record in the table. Delete it again; check.
[3] Run t/db../UploadedFiles.t.
[4] Run t/db../FrameworkPlugins.t -incl cataloguing/value_builder/upload.pl

Two problems were discovered while doing a fresh install
of Koha. These problems in the kohastructure.sql file are
addressed with this patch.
Clicking the plug-in icon should cause the popup window
to refocus. This adds the refocus code to the upload.pl file.
The path to the jquery.js script was wrong in the

If a user clones 856$u after uploading a file, deletes the file,
and then clicks the plugin icon on the first 856$u, this will go

New cataloging plugin upload.pl and new system preference 'uploadPath'.
upload.pl provide a way to upload files on the server and store a link
(url) to it in MARC
uploadPath is the absolute path on the server where the files will be
stored. It's possible to have a hierarchy of directories under this path
and the plugin will allow to choose in which directory to store the
file.
Stored value in MARC subfield looks like this:
<OPACBaseURL>/cgi-bin/koha/opac-retrieve-file.pl?id=<SHA-1 of the file>
So both 'uploadPath' and 'OPACBaseURL' sysprefs have to be set for this

GetMarcUrls are not really needed, and would have needed some
attention. Another link text can be supplied by the plugin too.
This also reduces the need for changes in basket.pl,
MARCdetail.pl, detail.pl, opac-basket.pl and opac-detail.pl.

The size of the barcode in patron card creator was hardcoded to 1% of the card height and 80% of the card width.
This patch exposes both values in the layout editor. If no values are given, the previousely hard coded values (0.01 / 0.8) are used in order to work with existing card definitions.
To test:
- Go to Home > Tools > Patron card creator
- Export a patron card (PDF) from en existing definition
- Apply patch
- Export patron card again, compare results (should be the same)
- Go to Home > Tools > Patron card creator > Manage card layouts
- Edit the layout you use for testing and set barcode scaling values e.g. to 0.03 for height and 0.4 for widht
- Export patron card again, verify that barcode size changed

This patch makes a few changes to the way errors are handled in the
OPAC:
- The validation plugin has been moved from the global include file to
the template itself. Since we aren't doing form validation on any
other page yet it doesn't make sense to include it globally at this
time.
- The error message which appears if you have JavaScript disabled and
have submitted invalid emails was styled in a non-standard way.
- I have added in-page links to the error message which appears if you
have JavaScript disabled so that you can click to jump to the field
which contains the error.
- I have modified the error message language slightly to make it (I
hope) read better.

This patch adds server-side & client-side validation for email
form fields in the members/memberentry -view and in the
opac/memberentry-view (bootstrap).
I recently added simple validation for phone number and email address fields
for our in-house koha and saw this old bug: I'm open to any ideas on how
to do this better. Validation for phone numbers would be easy to add on
top of this but I left it out since this bug is only about the email
fields.
To test:
1) Select a member and go to any of the edit forms with email fields
(Primary info, "Library use", "Alternate address", "Alternative
contact").
2) Disable javascript in the browser in order to test server-side
validation and try to input invalid emails in each of the email form
fields.
3) Confirm that an invalid address is catched from any of the email
fields, an alert shown for each invalid address and that the member's
information was not updated with invalid data.
4) Enable javascript in the browser.
5) Confirm that the jquery validation plugin caches invalid addresses
from any of the email fields and that you cannot send the form before
correcting the problem.
6) Perform the same tests for the opac-memberentry-view.
Note: as the jQuery validation plugin doesn't exist in the bootstrap
folder, I just copied it over from the staff-client folder -how to deal
with this?

Mubassir Ahsan asked on the Koha mailing list:
Is there any option to set Saturday as the first day of
the week? Please help me.
CalendarFirstDayOfWeek is currently either Sunday|Monday.
By converting it to 0|1|2|3|4|5|6
(Sunday, Monday, ..., Saturday), we can allow any day of the
week to be the first day of the week in the date picker.
TEST PLAN
---------
1) Backup DB
2) In mysql:
> DELETE FROM systempreferences;
> SOURCE .../installer/data/mysql/sysprefs.sql
> SELECT variable,value FROM systempreferences;
-- It should say 'CalendarFirstDayOfWeek' and '0'
May say '1' if you are using Norwegian.
3) Restore your DB
4) .../installer/data/mysql/updatedatabase.pl
-- If your previous value for 'CalendarFirstDayOfWeek' was
'Sunday', it should be '0'. For 'Monday', it should be '1'.
5) Test an installation with 'de-DE' as the language.
-- The default value should be '1'.
6) Test an installation with 'nb-NO' as the language.
-- The default value should be '1'.
7) In the staff client, confirm that any day of the week is
available in the I18N/L10N system preferences for the
CalendarFirstDayOfWeek dropdown.
-- I'm aware they aren't in order, but I'm after
functionality, not finesse.
8) In another tab, go to a staff place that has a datepicker.
For example, Home -> Tools -> Inventory/stocktaking
9) For each possible value in the CalendarFirstDayOfWeek,
go to the other tab, refresh the page after updating the
system preference, and click the datepicker icon.
-- The date picker should then start on the selected
day of the week.
10) Log into OPAC
-- This may require setting: opacuserlogin to 'Allow'.
11) Click the personal details tab on the left.
12) There is a date picker for the date of birth.
-- The date picker should then start on the selected
day of the week.

This patch make inactive vendors really inactive.
That means an inactive vendor would not be able to add a basket / add an order.
Revised test plan
=================
1/ In the acquisition module create 2 vendors: 1 active and 1 inactive.
2/ On the acqui/booksellers.pl, acqui/uncertainprice.pl,
admin/aqcontract.pl and acqui/supplier.pl (pages which include the
acq toolbar), you should be able to, for both the 'active' as well
as the inactive vendor :
(a) add new basket
(b) add order items to the basket
Remark: This is *wrong*. You should be able to do so only for active
vendor.
3/ Apply the patch
4/ Go to the links in step #2 above and select the inactive vendor
you should no longer be able to:
(a) add new basket
(b) add order items to the basket
Remark: This is the *correct* behaviour
5/ No change should be noted for vendor marked "active", and should
be able to undertake operations 4 (a), 4 (b) and 4 (c).
Remark: This is the *correct* behaviour.
6/ run koha qa tests tool
Bug 12054: (follow-up) Inactive vendors should be inactive

Libraries are reporting that patrons are very confused during
self-checkout. The problem is they are expecting the list of checkouts
to be in the order they checked out the items ( first checkout on the
bottom, last item checked out on top ). However, the checkouts
table is sorted by title ( ascending ) then due date ( descending ).
This is not intuitive.
Test Plan:
1) Enable Koha's self checkout
2) Use the SCO to check out a random assortment of items,
make sure you don't check them out in alphabetical order
3) Note the order of the items in the list is not based on the order
you checked them out in
4) Apply this patch

The exported CSV file from the item search didn't display the publication
year in MARC21 installations and the title always contained 'by'
even if there was no author information to display. Also the by is
not needed by MARC21 as the data should include punctuation.
This basically copies the changes done to the JSON format
on bug 13859 to the CSV include.
To test: Switch from 'Screen' to 'CSV'
- Check publication date always displays (MARC21 and UNIMARC)
- Check that for MARC21 the 'by' has been removed from the title information
- Check that for UNIMARC the 'by' only displays when there is also
an author to display

(1) To check the setup is sane:
- Go to the Patrons page
=> SUCCESS: The 'New patron' dropdown is populated
- Click on the [+] symbol on the Patron search on the top
=> SUCCESS: The Categories dropdown is populated
(2) To test the patch:
- On the checkout form, perform a patron search that
(a) returns more than one result
(b) returns zero results
- Click the dropdown menu to create a new patron
=> FAIL: Dropdown is empty
- Repeat for (a) or (b)
- Apply the patch and reload
=> SUCCESS: The dropdown is correctly populated
- Repeat (1)
=> SUCCESS: Nothing got broken
- Verify the logs

}
else {

This patch allows Koha OAI repository to support deleted records.
The OAI-PMH:DeletedRecord syspref is introduced and can be set to:
- persistent (in case Koha's deletedbiblio table will never be emptied
or truncated)
- transient (in case Koha's deletedbiblio table might be emptied or
truncated at some point)
Test plan:
- After applying the patch, test that:
- Deleted records appear in ListRecords and ListIdentifiers requests.
- Filter parameters (from, until, set and resumptionToken) still work
and are applied to ListRecords and ListIdentifiers requests.
- Identify request shows if the repository is considered persistent
or transient, according to the OAI-PMH:DeletedRecord syspref.
- Deleted records that used to belong to a set are still displayed in
those sets and marked as deleted.
- GetRecord requests work on deleted records, which are marked as deleted.

- create a new order using the 'From a staged file' option
- select a file to order from - 'Add orders'
- Verify the 'Select to import' tab now displayed the text
'Show inactive funds' and that it works as expected
- Switch to the 'Default accounting details' tab
- Verify the text there is also changed to 'Show inactive' and
works like expected.
2) Receive shipment
- receive a new shipment for a vendor with unreceived orders
- Verify the label next to the fund list has changed to
'Show inactive' and works as expected.

On the order form there is a checkbox next to the fund list labelled
'show all'. Checking the checkbox will result in the inactive funds
showing in the pull down list as well.
The patch renames the label to 'Show inactive' to make the purpose
more clear.
To test:
- Create a new order
- Verify the label has changed as described above
- Decide if the change makes sense

includes/authorities-search.inc already used the same behavior but with
another method.
For consistency it's better to have only 1 way to do that.
Test plan:
Go on the authority home page
Fill the input in the header and click on tab 'search all headings' and
'keyword search' and confirm that the text you have filled is kept.
I tested after applying the patch and the text is kept after removing the
part from authorities-search.inc. I also tried applying that jQuery solution
instead of my JS loop but could not get it to work for the other pages with
a reasonable ammount of effort.

This is something I have wanted quite a few times over the years...
Tested by going to every main area of Koha, entering some random
text into the search box and then clicking on all the available tabs
to check that the entered text is carried over to all the boxes.
There are a couple of places where text is not carried over, but I
guess that might be because one of the boxes is structurally
different to the others. These are:
- "Vendor search" and "Orders search" in Acquisitions
- "Search subscriptions" in Serials
I have not looked at how this is implemented, just that it works as
it should.

TEST PLAN
---------
1) Ensure you have a book that would pull up an idreambooks image
(e.g. The road to character / David Brooks.)
-- I imported from the Library of Congress via z39.50
2) Ensure your system preferences for idreambook stuff is set.
3) Ensure you have multiple 020$a's for your book, and
the first one must just be an ISBN number!
-- I removed the '(hardcover: acidfree paper)' from the first.
-- I took the second 020 field and changed 020$z to 020$a
4) Search for that book in OPAC and go to details.
-- There should be a readometer image, but it will be broken.
-- Notice the ISBN line has "#############; ..."
This could also be attained by just putting two semi-colon
separated ISBN's on the first 020$a.
5) Apply this patch
6) Refresh page
-- readometer image appears. YAY!
7) run koha qa test tools

The 'Local Use' system preference addition/modification template provides the following options against "Variable Type" - Choice, YesNo, Integer, Textarea, Float, Themes, Languages, Upload or ClassSource.
There is no option presented for "Free" which seems to be the most
used variable type out-of-the-box (i.e. INTRAdidyoumean,
OPACdidyoumean, UsageStatsID and UsageStatsLastUpdateTime)
This trivial patch proposes to modify the systempreferences.tt
and add the option 'Free' to the list offered to users.
Test Plan
=========
1/ Go to Home > Administration > System preferences > Local use
2/ Click on 'New preference'.
3/ In the fieldset 'Koha Internal', the variable types offered
are Choice, YesNo, Integer, Textarea, Float, Themes,
Languages, Upload or ClassSources.
4/ Clicking on 'Choice' should set the 'preftype' field as
'Choice'.
5/ Apply this patch.
6/ Refresh the page.
7/ The variable types list should read - "Free, Choice, YesNo,
Integer, Textarea, Float, Themes, Languages, Upload or
ClassSources".
8/ Clicking on 'Free' should set the 'preftype' field as 'Free'.

system and test platform).
4) Go back to go to “Stage MARC records for import” page upload
TestFile2 and stage it (select iso 5426 encoding).
5) Go to acquisitions module and create a new basket.
6) From your basket, in the “Add order to basket block” choose 'From a
staged file'.
7) Then click File2 (‘addorder button').
8) Go down the "Import all" block and save.
9) You are redirected to the basket page : a warning is displayed to
tell you that some duplicates have been found and skipped.
There's a link on the warning throughout you can go back to the list of
remaining records and treat them individually if necesary.
10) Click the link : you fall upon the title of TestFile1 (of course as
it's a duplicate).
11) Check that the imported records have been indexed.
