This patch makes some changes to the way assets are included based on
the value of the system preferece in order to minimize unnecessary
JavaScript includes.
The patch also adds HTML syntax-highlighting and linting like we have in
the system preferences editor.
Removed are two JS files which were not required.
To test, apply the patch and set the NewsToolEditor preference to
"CodeMirror."
- Edit a news item and confirm that the contents of the
editor show HTML syntax highlighting.
- Test HTML linting by adding some malformed HTML (missing closing tag,
for instance). The error should be highlighted.
- Set the NewsToolEditor to "TinyMCE" and confirm that WYSIWYG editing
still works correctly.

Some ILL systems (e.g. Libris in Sweden) require a link between
a biblio and an ILL request. When such a link exists it is nice
to display an actual link from the biblio detail view to the
ILL request detail view. This patch adds such a link. For users
without ILL privileges, the requests should still show, but not
be clickable links.
To test:
- Make sure you have a couple of ILL requests created with the
FreeForm backend. (FreeForm does not let you tie a request to
a biblio through the UI, but we will add connections directly
in the database.) Lets assume these have illrequest_id's a and b.
- Make sure you have a record, let's call the biblionumber x.
- Apply the patch and make sure there are no changes in the biblio
detail view of biblionumber x.
- Log into the database and connect the biblio to the first request:
UPDATE illrequests SET biblio_id = x where illrequest_id = a;
- Check that the biblio detail view now says this:
"ILL requests: Request a"
- Verify that the "Request a" part is a working link to the detail
view of ILL request a.
- Do this in the database:
UPDATE illrequests SET biblio_id = x where illrequest_id = b;
- Check that the biblio detail view now says this:
"ILL requests: Request a, Request b"
- Verify the links work as expected.
- Log in as a staff user and check that the requests are still
listed, but not displayed as clickable links.

This patch modifies the template, JS, and CSS for the bibliographic
detail page in order to gracefully handle multiple cover images.
The changed version loops through any cover images which might be
embedded and checks that they are successfully loaded. Only
successfully-loaded images are shown. Only the first image is shown, and
the others can be "paged through" using generated navigation controls.
To test, apply the page and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

Edition information is fetched from "biblioitem" table
as "editionstatement" and transferred to template.
1. Place a hold on a book with edition information.
2. Run build_holds_queue.pl cron job.
3. Go to /cgi-bin/koha/circ/view_holdsqueue.pl and check the "title"
table of that book that you placed hold on.
4. Observe that there's no information about edition of that book.
5. Apply patch.
6. Repeat step 3.
7. Observe that cinformation about edition of that book appeared
in the title table after book's title and author.

This patch makes a couple of minor changes to the authority MARC
subfield structure administration interface to make it more consistent
with the corresponding MARC subfield interface.
To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Authority types.
- Pick an authority type to edit, for instance PERSO_NAME, and choose
'MARC structure' from the Actions menu.
- Pick a tag to edit and select "Subfields" from the Actions menu.
- In the table of subfields for that tag, each subfield in the first
column should link to the edit interface for that subfield (its tab
pre-selected).
- The "Edit" button in that table should do the same.

This patch removes the use of jquery.cookie to store "last patron"
information, using localStorage instead. jquery.cookie.js is obsolete.
See Bug 24624.
localStorage has been chosen as an alternative in this situation because
it does not require transmission between the client and the server. See
Bug 12410.
Because there is no "session only" option with localStorage, additional
handling of the showLastPatron data is added to the login page. That
takes care of "stale" last patron information if user didn't log out but
the session expired for some reason.
To test apply the patch and enable the showLastPatron system preference.
1. Load a patron's account for checkout
2. Navigate away from patron-related pages: Perform a catalog search
from the search header form and open the detail page from the search
results. Confirm that the correct last patron information still
shows.
3. Load another patron's account for checkout
- There should now be a "Last patron" link in the breadcrumbs bar
which links to the patron in step 1. Hovering your mouse over the
link should display a tooltip containing the patron's name and
card number.
- Click the "X" to clear the last patron information. The last
patron link should go away.
4. Log out and log back in. The last patron information should be gone.

This patch adds a checkbox to make holds created by club hold to default to patron's home branch if possible.
To test:
1. Apply this patch
2. Create a club, and add two patrons (from now on called patron A and patron B) to it, each one form a different library..
3. Create a hold for the club, and in the details set pickup location different from any of the patrons.
4. Check "Pickup at patron's home library when possible" checkbox
SUCCESS => when submitted, pickup location of holds defaults to patron's home branch
5. Modify patron A's library and set pickup location to no.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4.
SUCCESS => when submitted, patron A's hold now points to pickup location setted on step 3, and patron B's hold still points to his home branch.
7. Sign off

Currently, the main table of ILL requests will display all ILL
requests in the database, regardless of their status. For libraries
with active ILL this quickly leads to a lot of requests being displayed,
and the main page of the ILL module taking a long time to load. This
patch proposes to fix this by introducing the ILLHiddenRequestStatuses
syspref, which can take a pipe-separated list of ILL statuses that
will be hidden from view in the ILL module. This means that the
only way to find a hidden request will be through a report.
To test:
- Apply the patch and make sure the atomic database update is run
- Make sure you have a few ILL requests, with at least two different
statuses
- Check that all requests are still displayed in the main table of
ILL requests
- Add one of the statuses* you have in your database to the
ILLHiddenRequestStatuses syspref, reload the ILL module frontpage
and verify that requests with the given status are not displayed
- Change the syspref to another status and verify requests with
that status are now hidden
- Change the syspref to hold both statuses, separated by the pipe
symbol (e.g.: A|B). Verify that no requests with the given
statuses are now displayed
- Run the ILL REST API tests, e.g.:
$ sudo koha-shell -c "prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/illrequests.t" kohadev
* = The ILLHiddenRequestStatuses syspref should hold status codes, like
"REQ" and "NEW", not their human readable counterparts.

Note: I am not confident with this patch, I think it's not polished. I
will not have time to improve it to make it ready for 19.05.00
1. Conflict with bug 20443 (which would have make this change way much
easier!)
2. It does not work :) You will be able to submit the memberentry form
even if the patron attribute is marked as mandatory (??)
3. What about the OPAC?
4. What about repeatable fields? We certainly will need JS code here
5. What about the "Quick add" feature? (I had trouble in the past to not
introduce regression when we played with this template...)

This patch introduces a new way for users to select database columns for
system preferences like BorrowerMandatoryField, which currently
require hand-typing of database names.
This new system uses a JSON file containing label:column pairs for
database columns which are relevant to preferences which reference
borrower table columns. My intention was to have user-friendly values as
the labels, but embedding English strings in JSON would make them
untranslatable.
The following preferences are affected:
- BorrowerMandatoryField
- BorrowerUnwantedField
- PatronSelfModificationBorrowerUnwantedField
- PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField
- PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField
== Test plan ==
- apply the patches
- regenerate the staff client CSS (yarn build)
- updatedatabase
- dbic
- flush_memcached
- restart_all to make sure the updated .pref file is used
- Go to Administration -> System preferences, and search for
"PatronSelf"
- The input fields for PatronSelfModificationBorrowerUnwantedField,
PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField, and
PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField should appear as "locked"
(read-only) inputs.
- Clicking the input field should trigger a modal window with
checkboxes for each available column from the borrowers table.
- Test that the "select all" and "clear all" links work correctly.
- Test that the "cancel" link closes the modal without saving your
selections.
- Test that the "Save" button closes the modal, copies your selections
to the form field, and triggers the preference-saving function (this
eliminates the need to click a save button again after closing the
modal).
- Test this process by making modifications to all three different
preferences, confirming that the right data is preselected each
time the modal is shown and the right data is saved to the right
field each time.

In smart-rules.tt we have `SET show_rule = ...` section which filled
with 'all used in the loop' variables. Because if historical reasons it
seems that there are some missing, few old, and even doubled ones.
This list is fixed now by:
- variable names 'article_requests' and 'renewalsallowed' repeated
so duplicates are removed;
- 'hardduedatebefore' and 'hardduedateexact' not present in the whole
site code anywhere anymore;
IMPORTANT NOTE: these 'hardduedatebefore/hardduedateexact' also
exists as remnants in .po-translation files, a lot.
- 'note', 'hardduedatecompare', 'renewalperiod', 'rentaldiscount'
template variables were missing from this 'show_rule =' checking
code so they are added.

This patch adds a submenu to the sidebar menu in the system preferences
interface. Submenu links let you jump to the sub-sections in each
preference category.
In the search results view, a link is added to allow the user to jump
directly to the section from which those results came. For instance, if
your search returns the "SuspendHoldsOpac" preference, the link will
take you to to the Circulation preferences page and jump the page to the
"Holds policy" section.
This patch also converts the expand/collapse arrows to Font Awesome
icons. The obsolete image files are removed.
If you click a submenu link for a section on the current page which has
been collapsed, the section will expand.
To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff client CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).
- Go to Administration -> System preferences.
- Test the various preference categories and confirm that the submenus
appear correctly and jump you to the right section.
- Test that if you click a section heading to collapse it that
clicking the corresponding submenu link in the sidebar causes it to
expand again.
- Do a search for system preferences and confirm that the sidebar menu
displays correctly.
- Confirm that the "View all..." links take you to the correct page and

When a user creates a patron's guarantor on /cgi-bin/koha/members/memberentry.pl but doesn't select the relationship from a dropdown, the relationship defaults to first value, which in default sysprefs is "father". This may or may not be correct as this is not a conscious choice from the user.
The solution is to make the "Relationship" field mandatory when there is no empty entry in the system preferences, always starting with an empty option but not allowing the user to save an empty entry.
And if there is an empty option in sysprefs, it allows to save empty, as well as makes it default choice.
To reproduce with default system preferences:
1) Create a new patron who is assumed to have a guarantor or modify the existing one.
2) Under "Guarantor Information" click on "Search to add" button. After performing the search, select a user to act as guarantor. Don't use the dropdown menu to select a relationship. Save your changes.
3) Observe that relationship is set as "father".
4) Apply the patch.
5) Repeat steps 1 and 2.
6) Observe that it doesn't allow you to save the form until you pick a relationship type.
To reproduce with empty entry added to system preferences:
1) Add an empty entry to borrowerRelationship at /cgi-bin/koha/admin/preferences.pl?tab=patrons in Patron relationships section (example: "|father|mother").
2) Create a new patron who is assumed to have a guarantor or modify the existing one.
3) Under "Guarantor Information" click on "Search to add" button. After performing the search, select a user to act as guarantor. Don't use the dropdown menu to select a relationship. Save your changes.
4) Observe that relationship is set as "father".
5) Apply the patch.
6) Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.
7) Observe when you save the empty entry it does set the relationship as empty.

This patch is the main patch of this patchset, you will find the
description and the test plan.
The idea of this new enhancement is to add the ability to define the
default sort order and the default number of rows displayed on the
acquisition basket page.
The existing "columns settings" feature was replaced by a
"tables settings" feature. To prepare the ground, there were some
works that were needed:
* rename variables and files
* Modify the structure of the yml files
* Create a new DB table to store the tables settings
Test plan:
0)
a. Execute the update DB entry to create the new table
b. Restart all (to get a new version of the yml file, that is cached by
memcached)
c. Create several orders for a given basket
1) Go to the basket view page
=> The default values are the same than without this patchset, the
number of entries to display is set to "20" and the table is sorted by
basket number (first column)
2) Go to the "Columns settings" page
3) Unfold the "Acquisition" tab
=> Notice the 2 dropdown lists at the bottom of the basket table
4) Select different values for "Default display length" and "Default
sort order"
5) Refresh the basket view page
=> Notice that the default settings are now effective on the table
QA note: We can decide to replace the different occurrences of "Columns settings"
by "Tables settings" if needed.

makes sense to rename the file and the variables.

This is a companion/alternative to bug 25184, in that it allows an
explicit workflow for placing returned books into temporary storage for
a few days for decontamination purposes.
The idea here is to create a specific notforloan value for "In
Decontamination" or something along along those lines. This notforloan
value would never be trappable. At the end of decon,
UpdateNotForLoanStatusOnCheckin could be used to remove the
notforloan status and allow checkins to be trapped to fill holds.

you used in step 3

After the QA round on bug 25279, some things needed to get fixed:
- Data needs to be escaped
- When no library is defined, we should keep the original behaviour and
message.
- aria-hidden="true" for FontAwesome coding guideline enforced
- Added role="button" as well.
This patch does that.

together with title in "Holds to pull" report.
Edition information is fetched from "biblioitem" table
as "editionstatement" and transferred to template.
Those changes don't have performance impact as all tables
including "biblioitem" were already used and joined in this request.

This patch modifies, again, the way the actions popup is implemented in
Z39.50 search results, whether it be in cataloging, authorities, or
acquisitions. The solution for Bug 25282 changed some markup which was
being referred to in JavaScript. This patch makes the markup more
consistent and unifies handling of the menu in one JavaScript file.
The solution changes the way a menu is generated when the user clicks
within the row of Z39.50 search results (not on the "Actions" button).
The script now creates a clone of the actions menu in that row and
appends it to the <td> the user clicked on.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary. Test
these three areas in the same way:
1. Cataloging -> New from Z39.50 -> Search
2. Authorities -> New from Z39.50 -> Search
3. Acquisitions -> Vendor -> Add to Basket -> From an external source ->
Search.
In each case, test the functionality of the "Actions" menu button in the
last column ("Preview" in Acquisitions search results). The menu
should be positioned correctly and menu choice works correctly
Click anywhere else in the search results table. The same actions menu
should be triggered in that table cell. Confirm that these menu items
work correctly according to the row which was clicked.

There are 5 includes files per value of AddressFormat (us, de, fr).
The code is duplicated for each language, the only thing that changes is the order.
Wwith this patchset we are going to refactore them to avoid further regressions.
The idea is to remove all code that is duplicated and remove the need of
having 5*3 files. We are going to limit them to 5 files, 1 per use.
Note that we could go even further, for instance
member-display-alt-address-style and member-display-address-style are
quite identical.
Test plan (for the whole patchset):
- Create a patron with all the address, contact and alternate info filled
- Edit them and save
- Look at the patron's info (top left) in the patron module, and the
patron detail view.
- Play with the different values of AddressFormat
The order and the info must be displayed identically before and after
this patchset. No change is expected.

To test, apply the patch and enable the OPACReportProblem system

- Go to Administration. There should be no link to OPAC problem
reports.
- Open an administration page which shows the Administration menu in
the left-hand sidebar, e.g. Libraries. There should be no link to
OPAC problem reports in the menu.
- Go to Tools. There should be a link to OPAC problem reports in the
"Addional tools" section.
- Open the OPAC problem reports page and confirm that it works
correctly.
- The breadcrumbs menu should show "Tools > OPAC problem reports."
- Confirm that the link in the sidebar menu works correctly.
- If necessary, submit an OPAC problem report via the OPAC so that

At branchtransfers.pl, one selects a destination branch and scans in any
number of items to generate transfers to that branch. However, anything
that makes the page reload causes your branch selection to be lost,
reverting you back to whichever branch comes first alphabetically.
This is an invitation to error when one has a stack of books to
send all to the same branch. Could that error handling get moved
into a modal or something that won't reload the page?
Test Plan:
1) Place a hold on an item and set it to waiting
2) Initiate a branch transfer from branchtransfers.pl for any branch but
the first in the pulldown branch selector
3) Choose to cancel the hold and transfer
4) Note the pulldown reverts to the first option
5) Apply this patch
6) Repeat steps 1-3
7) Note the pulldown retains your preveiously selected branch!

Button "clear" on cgi-bin/koha/admin/smart-rules.pl did not reset fields
with a dropdown selector except the first one.
This happens because jQuery selector .find("select option:first")
in koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/admin/smart-rules.tt
selects only single first element in the whole group, as from jquery
doc:
> The :first pseudo-class is equivalent to :eq( 0 ). It could also be
> written as :lt( 1 ). While this matches only a single element,
> :first-child can match more than one: One for each parent.
And it works if replaced by: .find("select option:first-child")
To reproduce:
1) Go to /cgi-bin/koha/admin/smart-rules.pl
2) Start editing one of existing rules or filling a new one, change
all selects to have non-first option selected. Fill text input
fields with sample data.
3) Reset all fields with the "clear" button.
4) Observe that only the first dropdown field was reset to the first
option while all others still contain previously given values,
meanwhile all text input fields are cleared as expected.
5) Apply the patch.
6) Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.
7) Check that all dropdown fields were reset to first option, as
expected.

To test you must have an authority type configured with at least one
subfield designated as a URL:
- Go to Administration -> Authority types

- Select "Subfields" from the actions menu for the tag containing
the subfield you want to modify (for instance 856).
- Edit the subfield you want to display as a link (e.g. subfield u).
- In the subfield configuration form under "Advanced constraints" check
the "Is a URL" checkbox and save your changes.
- Apply the patch and go to Authorities in the staff interface.
- Search for or create an authority record which contains URL
information in the right subfield (for instance 856$u).

form submission if something is not filled (for instance no checkbox
checked, or no fund selected).
Technically it means that:
- click the submit button
- it submits the form
- we disable the submit button
- we prevent the form to be submitted before something is wrong
At this stage the button is disabled and the form cannot be longer be
submitted.
This patch replaces the "on submit" event of the form with the "on click" event of the submit button.
Which means we are going to:
- click the submit button
- we prevent the form to be submitted before something is wrong
=> The button will only be disabled if the form is really submitted
Test plan:
- stage a marc record
- acquisitions: have a basket
- click on "Add to basket"
- "From a staged file"
- Don't tick the record
- Save
- You should see an expected error message
- Tick the record
- Save
- You should see an expected error message
- Choose a fund
- Click the "Save" button as many times as you can, to try double submit
it.
=> The order is saved

4. Cataloging -> New record -> Ants & Bees
5. Type This & That in the 245$a (and for extra credit, in 020$a, and
create an author authority with an & in it so you can put it in the

6. Click Z39.50/SRU search, make sure everything you typed is prefilled
including the parts after &
7. Search for anything that will retrieve a record (the ISBN This &

This patch does the following things:
- Uses a call to Koha::Cities->search(*)->count to display the same
message we displayed before when no city was found/defined (datatable
not rendered at all).
- Restores the main search box functionality, the passed param is used
to query on the city name with wildcards on both sides, for (a)
counting results and for (b) apending to the API call with the same
behaviour.
The only missing bit from QA is HTML/URI escaping values from cells, but
this is going to happen at DT level most sure.

This new enhancement adds the ability to create a CSV profile for the late
orders export.
Prior to this, the CSV profile was hardcoded in a template and not
editable (unless you modify the .tt file of course).
The main difficulty of the request was to make the multiple claims dates
accessible from the CSV profile. So far we only accept columns from the
database. However we would like to use the Koha::Acquisition::Order
object to make things easier (it had a ->claims method to access the
different claims).
To acchieve this, we are going to accept the TT syntax for that CSV profile.
It means that only CSV profiles created for 'late_orders' will have the
capability to use the TT syntax (can be extended later of course if
needed).
The alternative was to use specific placeholders, like %claims_count%,
%claimed_date%, but it sounded more powerful and flexible to allow the
TT syntax instead.
Note that the former export (template based) still exists and is the
default option.
Test plan:
0. Apply the patches and execute the update database entry
1. Create some orders, close the basket
2. Claim some of the orders
3. Note the new button at the bottom of the table that have several
entries.
=> The first entry will generate a CSV file using the previous method
=> The second entry will generate it using the new CSV profile, note
that the number of claims as well as the different claims date are
displayed.
4. Bonus point: Edit the CSV profile (Home › Tools › CSV export
profiles) that is named "Late orders (csv profile)", or create a new
one, and modify it.
Export the late orders using this CSV profile and confirm that the
generated CSV file is the one you expect.

So far we only record the number of claims and the date of the last
claim, in the aqorders table.
To keep track of the different claim dates, this patchset is going to
make the following DB changes:
* Create a new table 'aqorders_claims' (id, ordernumber, claimed_on)
* Remove the two columns from the aqorders table: claims_count and
claimed_date
This will allow to display the different claim dates where needed: on
the late orders page, and the basket page.
To avoid additional fetches of Koha::Acquisition::Orders, GetLateOrders
has been moved to Koha::Acquisition::Orders->filter_by_late
That way we are going to add consistency, robustness, and cover the
feature with new tests.
Test plan:
0/ Create a bunch of new orders. Make sure they are from different
vendor (with different delivery time).
1/ Go to the late orders page and claim some orders
2/ Reclaim some of those orders
3/ Confirm that you can see the different claim dates for a given orders
(the history of the late orders claims is kept and displayed)
4/ Bonus point: Regression tests:
a. Modify the closedate of the basket in the database. That
will allow you to make sure the patch set did not introduce regressions.
It would be good to test the different filters on the late orders page:
* delay
* Estimated delivery date from/to
* Vendor
b. Confirm that the subtotal and the total values from the late orders
page is correct.
c. Test the update database entry: do not apply these patches, claims
some orders against master. Apply the patch, execute the update DB entry
then confirm that the number of claims is correct (note that the dates
will not as it is not possible to guess them).
QA note: the branchcode parameter has been removed from filter_by_late.
At first glance it seems that it was not used.

This is still not ideal but brings a bit of enhancement.
One possible problem is that the patron creation will fail if the
streetnumber field is too long (borrowers.streetnumber is varchar(10).
Test plan:
0. Don't apply this patch
1. Create a new patron with a streetnumber longer than 10 characters
2. Save
=> The patron has not been created and the app explodes
The error is about extended_attributes and not meaningful
Can't call method "extended_attributes" on an undefined value at /kohadevbox/koha/members/memberentry.pl line 560
3. Apply the patch
4. Repeat 1. and 2
=> You get a warning on the interface and you still see the creation
form
5. Check the logs
=> The error is meaningful

This new patch set is adding a new DB field is_system to distinguish
internal categories.
The list of internal categories is in the patch "DB changes - set
is_system for categories" and can be discussed/extended.
Test plan:
0.
- Apply patch
- updatedabase
1.

Use of patron-title.inc on the checkin page is inconsistent, resulting
in patron names being displayed differently under different
circumstances. This patch makes it more consistent.
To test, apply the patch and check in items with the following statuses:
- On hold for a patron at your library
- On hold for a patron not at your library
- On hold and already marked 'Waiting'
- On hold while HoldsAutoFill preference is enabled
- An item which has been marked with a LOST status in the
'ClaimReturnedLostValue' system preference.
- An item which was checked out to a manually-restricted patron and
checked in with a back-dated checkin date. See test plan on Bug

When paying or writing off a single line from the list of pending charges,
the account type displayed the code instead of the description.
And when bug 23483 fixed the display of the description, 2 variables where
missed. This change is only visible when looking at the page source:
<input type="hidden" name="description" id="description" value="" />
With the patch applied, the value will be filled with the description.
To test:
- Create one or more manual invoices of different types
- Try to pay/write off using the buttons within the table
- Verify the account type shows as code, not description
- Apply patch

- Go to the OPAC and confirm that the content which was previously in
the OpacMainUserBlock system preference now displays correctly where
it was before.
- In the staff client, go to Tools -> News and verify that the content
from OpacMainUserBlock is now stored in news items. There should be
one entry for each of the enabled translations in your system, for
instance 'opacmainuserblock_en', 'opacmainuserblock_fr-FR',
'opacmainuserblock_cs-CZ'

This patch adds the ability for logged-in patrons to add star ratings to
titles in their list of current checkouts and on the reading history
page.
The reading history page previously only showed existing ratings. Now it
will allow the entry of ratings as well.
The JS and markup for the feature are in separate include files to
facilitate re-use. It includes markup for non-js display of ratings and
js-driven ratings controls.
To test, apply the patch and set the OpacStarRatings to all, "results,
details, and user" pages.
- Log in to the OPAC as a user with checkouts.
- On the "your summary" page, test the features of setting star
ratings:
- Any title with existing ratings should show the rating and the
average rating number.
- Set a rating. Confirm that it shows a message with your rating.
- Click the "cancel rating" link, and confirm that your rating is
removed.
- Set a rating and reload the page. Confirm that the rating was
saved.
- Test the "cancel rating" link on the title you set before you
reloaded the page. The rating should be cancelled.
- Test the same functionality on the "your reading history" page.
- Test these pages with the OpacStarRatings preference set to "only
details" or "no." The pages should function correctly.

Incorrect markup surrounding Bootstrap dropdown buttons causes display
problems with the buttons are in a DataTable. Dropdown wrapper <div>s
must have a "btn-group" class.
To reproduce the problem, look at the MARC bibliographic frameworks
page. The "Actions" menu when triggered will not line up with the
button.
In almost all cases, dropdown buttons inside tables should also have the
"dropup" class on their wrapper so that the menu appears above the
button. This prevents the menu from disappearing off the bottom of the
window when the button is positioned low in the viewport.
To test, apply the patch and test the button menus in tables on the
following pages:

When paging through the patron account in staff, using the tabs on
the right, you notice that some pages are missing the patron toolbar
on top and that the headings, where they exist, vary in size.
This patch adds the patron toolbar to 3 more tabs and changes headings
to h1 to be consistent with older tabs. It has also been suggested on
another tab that this is preferrable for screen readers.
Note: Modification log was left out for now, as this is also used in tools.
To test:
- Activate ILL (ILLModule pref)
- Activate discharges (UseDischarge pref)
- Go to any patron account, tab through the tabs...
- Verify that discharge, purchase suggestions and ill requests are
missing the toolbar
- Apply patch
- Verify that the toolbar now appears on these pages and works
correctly
- Also veriy that the headings are now consistently h1 on all pages

When using sort1/sort2 with authorised values to create a pull down
list, there will be no empty entry unless one is manually added to
the authorised values list.
This is not a good default behaviour, as it can easily
cause errors on patron creation. Without the empty entry, the first
alphabetic value is pre-selected and will be saved if not explicitly
changed. It also doesn't allow to mark sort1/sort2 as mandatory,
as the value is always 'set', the required message won't be triggered.
This adds an empty parameter to av-build-dropbox.inc to allow selectively
adding this empty entry without causing side-effects in other places
this include is used.
To test:
- Create authorised values for either Bsort1 or Bsort2 authorised
value category
- Create a new patron:
- you should see a pull down list on one and an input field for the other
- for the pull down list, there will be no empty entry and the first
alphabetic value will be preselected
- Make your sort1 and sort2 mandatory using BorrowerMandatoryField
- Verify there is still on empty entry
- Apply patch
- Repeat tests and verify that the behaviour is as expected
- There should now be an empty entry
- When the field is marked mandatory and empty is left, the required
warning will be shown.

As the pref removes the whole 'line' of information, this tries to makes
the behaviour a little clearer by adding a 'and descriptions' to the pref
text. It now reads:
[Show|Don't show] the format, audience, and material type icons and
descriptions in XSLT MARC21 results and detail pages in ...
To test:
- Check both preference descriptions in the staff client
- Verify the text reads correctly and this helps things

This fixes the navigation on the Point of sale page:
Branch details => Library details
And the heading and the 'no register defined for this branch/library'
message on the page it links to.
To test:
- Activate cash registers and point of sales features
- Go to the point of sales page
- Verify text on the menu to the left
- Click on the Branch/library details - verify text and heading

Adding an item to course reserves and trying to edit any values in a second step does not work. Values are not saved and the table shows all values as "Unchanged".
This patch set adds two new sets of columns to the course_items table.
The first set determines if the specified column should be swapped or
not. The was previously 'implied' by the column being set to undef which
has been the root problem with that way of knowing if a column should
swap or not.
The second set of new columns are for storing the item field values
while the item is on course reserve. Previously, the column values
were swapped between the items table and the course_items table,
which leaves ambiguity as to what each value is. Now, the original
columns *always* store the value when the item is on course reserve,
and the new storage columns store the original item value while the
item is on reserve, and are NULL when an item is *not* on reserve.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Add and edit course items, not the new checkboxes for enabling fields
3) Everything should function as before

This reverts commit 8aa9f2cc07.
I agree with the following comment and as such have reverted the patch.
Quoting Phil Ringnalda <phil@chetcolibrary.org>:
Everything currently in the chunk labelled "Self Checkout" is
preferences used to control sco-main.pl, a feature that does checkout
and renewal, and optionally with the preference AllSelfCheckReturns,
also checkin.
Everything currently in the chunk labelled "Self check-in module" is
preferences used to control sci-main.pl, a separate feature that does
only checkin, and does checkin whether or not AllowSelfCheckReturns is
set.
I'd think a better solution would be to either rename the preference,
which is actually AllowReturnsInSelfCheckout, or rename the chunks to
make it more clear that they are preferences for two different features.

This patch moves the AllowSelfCheckReturns system preference to the "Self check-in module" section of the Circulation system preferences.
To test:
1) Check that the AllowSelfCheckReturns system preference is currently
in the "Self Checkout" section of the Circulation system preferences.
2) Apply the patch
3) The preference should now be in the "Self check-in module" section of
the Circulation system preferences.

A question in the bug report asks: Why is is necessary to change the
Bootstrap class to col-xs-12? The JavaScript which checks for the
existence of an Amazon cover image is designed to remove the Amazon
cover's container if there is none. Changing the class of
cover image column is gone.
However, the check is incorrect because it doesn't account for Local
Covers. There might be both a 1 x 1 pixel Amazon image and a local cover
image, so the layout shouldn't be changed unless there are no images
present.
To test, apply the patch and view the bibliographic details page of
various titles including:
- Amazon cover present, no local cover
- No Amazon cover, local cover image present
- Both Amazon and local cover image

TO RECREATE:
-Have Amazon images turned on and local images too.
-Have a record with a local cover image
-Make sure the record has no ISBN in 020 field.
-Load detail page of that record and see that the local cover images is
not on the right hand side like it should be but forced underneath
'catalogue_detail_biblio' in an odd spot.
-Apply patch and reload page
-The image should be back in its normal spot

We now display the descriptions everywhere, so we should drop the
'code' from labels.
This changes text in a lot of playes in Koha, including:
- The relatives checkouts table when displayed for the guarantor
- The new order and order receive forms in acquisitoins (item creation)
- The description of CCODE in the authorised values table
- The column description on results in item search
- The branch tranfers page
- Course reserves: add reserve items (one and in batch)
- Patron account > statistics tab

It would appear one has to format the dates in the controller rather
than in the template for input fields.. I wasn't aware of this caveat
until now.
Test plan
1/ Prior to applying patch attempt to look at previous transactions
ensuring you enter a 'to' date.
2/ Note a catastrophic failure
3/ Apply patch
4/ Look at the same date range and note you no longer get a failure but
are instead faced with the requested transactions.
5/ Signoff

Create another item with uri = D

suggestions are archived. It seems that there is no good reason to
