The application of the "noEnterSubmit" class to textareas in the
cataloging editor prevents the user from being able to use the Enter key
to create line breaks. This is not intentional and should be corrected.
This patch adds more specific scoping to the relevant JavaScript.
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary. Open
up the MARC editor and locate a tag which uses a textarea for entry. Try
typing lines of text separated by line breaks. The enter key should work
correctly.

This patch converts an id to a class in order to avoid duplicate id
attributes on one page.
To test you must have XSLT enabled with the default setting. Perform a
search in the OPAC and confirm that the display of location looks
correct.
Run the resulting page through a validator using an in-browser tool like
Firefox's Html Validator addon or using the W3C's validator.w3.org. The

It would be nice if there were a simple way to access the name and
branchcode of the currently logged in library, as well as the logged in
user via JavaScript ( via intranetuserjs ).
I propose the following:
1) Remove the whitespace surrounding the loggedinusername span
2) Wrap the logged in branch name with a span that has an id
3) Add the branchcode in a hidden span that has an id
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Log into Koha
3) Inspect the html source code
4) Note the lack of whitespace within the tag <span class="loggedinusername">[% loggedinusername %]</span>
5) Note the logged in branch name is now surrounded by a span with an id
6) Note below that is a span containing the branchcode, also with an id.
7) Verify the branchcode span is hidden by default.

This patch fixes the "Publication date" and "Acquisition date"
searches when using non-QueryParser and QueryParser searches.
It adds structure attributes to the template, which is consistent
with how phrase searching is currently handled.
It removes unnecessary code from Search.pm, adds some necessary
code which is consistent with existing code, and adds a lot of
explanatory comments.
_TEST PLAN_
Before applying:
0) Turn off QueryParser
1) Try a "Publication date" or "Acquisition date" search from the
staff client advanced search.
2) Note that even though the description on the result page makes
it seem like you're doing an index-specific search, you're actually
doing a keyword search. You can verify this by checking the 008
from positions 7 to 10 for "Publication date" or "Date accessioned"
on items for "Acquisition date".
3) Turn on QueryParser
4) Try doing the searches from Step 1.
5) A "Publication date" search should probably produce zero results
After applying patch:
6) Keep QueryParser on
7) Try doing the searches from Step 1.
8) Notice that you're actually getting results consistent with
your search (ie the 008/7-10 shows the date you searched for,
and there is a "Date accessioned" in items which matches your
search)
9) Turn off QueryParser
10) Note that your results are exactly the same as step 8
(N.B. this is because QueryParser is falling back to non-QP mode
instead of producing a bad query.)

The system preference TimeFormat decides if times are formatted in 24
hour or 12 hour format. The issue at hand is that this changes the time
description for fines. Let us assume the time format is currently 24
hour, and there are overdue items with accruing fines. When the format
is changed to 12 hour, and fines.pl is run, it will begin looking for
fines with a 12 hour format. Since there are no, it will create a new
fine and you will now have two fines for the same item!
There are solutions which require database manipulation:
1) Update all existing fines from 24 hour to 12 hour format
2) Delete all existing accruing fines so they are all regenerated the
following night
The same situation applies to DateFormat.
The accounts rewrite ( Bug 6427 ) will resolve this issue, as it does
not look for existing fines based on the description.
I believe the best course of action until bug 6427 is pushed to master
is to add a warning to the system preference to not alter it on a
production server with existing fines.

Form fields in the staff client which are required should be configured
to be so by doing several things:
- Add a class "required" to the field's <label>
- Add a class "required" to the form field
- Add 'required="required"' to the form field
- Apppend a <span class="required">Required</span> after the form field.
Several places in the templates are missing the <span>. This patch adds
them.
To test, apply the patch and view the following pages to confirm that
the "Required" text appears:
- Acquisitions -> Add an order to a basket from a new (empty) record.
Title, quantity, and fund should indicate they are required.
- Administration -> Authority types -> New authority type. The
authority type and description fields should indicate they are
required.
- Administration -> Authority types -> MARC structure -> New tag. The
tag field should indicate it is required.
- Patron types and categories -> New category. Category code,
description, and category type should indicate that they are required.
FIXME: Enrollment period is required but the user must choose one. I'm
not sure how to handle that clearly.
- Tools -> CSV profiles. Profile name, profile type, and profile MARC
fields should indicate they are required on both the new and edit
forms.
- Administration -> Manage MARC modification templates. Under "Create a
new template" the name field should indicate that it is required.
- Tools -> Batch patron modification -> Submit a batch for editing. Any
fields which are required according to your BorrowerMandatoryField
system preference should indicate that they are required.

Now that a patron's checkouts are loaded asynchronously, we can further
improve Koha's performance by not loading the checkouts table when it is
not needed. For example, if a librarian is checking out 5 items to a

items 1 to 4, just for item 5. Another example would be browsing to the
patron details table in order to change a patron's password.

This patch adds selected information from tag 264 to the Publisher line
on the OPAC detail XSLT view (MARC21). This includes a label, and the
subfields abc.
If Publication tag 260 exists, it adds information. If tag 260 does not exist,
it creates a 'publisher' line. (NOTE: Probably, both fields will not both be
present, but this patch can deal with that..)
Instead of showing all 264 tags, it picks the preferred one based on the
following rules (using both indicators; see LOC description):
[1] Try to select a Publisher -- Latest. Pick first one.
[2] Else try to select a Publisher. Pick the last one.
[3] Else try to select an other one (Producer, Manufacturer, ..) with Latest.
Pick the first one of that.
[4] Otherwise: Pick the last 264 tag.
Test plan:
[1] Add one 260 and multiple 264 tags to your record.
[2] Check display in OPAC detail XSLT.
[3] Change some indicators, subfields of the 264s.
[4] Check display again, following the above rules.
Go back to step 3 a couple of times.
[5] Remove tag 260. Check display again.

sign out element. Upon logout, koha will request that the shibboleth
session is destroyed, and then clear the local koha session upon
return to koha. Due to the nature of shibboleth however, you will
only truly be signed out of the IdP if they properly support Single
Sign Out (which many do not). As a consequence, although you may
appear to be logged out in koha, you might find that upon clicking
'login' the IdP does NOT request your login details again, but instead
logs you silently back into your koha session. This is NOT a koha bug,
but a shibboleth implementation issue that is well known.
BUG8446, Follow up: Fixed bootstrap login via modal
- The bootstrap theme enable login from any opac page via modal. To
enable this with shibboleth we had to make some template parameters
globally accessible when shibboleth is enabled.
BUG8446, Follow up: Add template rules for Shibboleth and CAS
- Add template rules so that CAS and Shibboleth can coexist.
BUG8446, Follow up: Added default config to config file
BUG8446, Follow up: Embellished perldoc documentation
- Updated perldoc to correct detail about configuring shibboleth

BUG8446, Follow-up: Adds Shibboleth authentication

Some scripts pass a template variable to facilitate an alternate table
row class for styling. Other use the 'IF (loop.odd)' construction. I
think we're at the point where the CSS3 :nth-child() selector is
widely-supported enough that we can do without template-based solutions:
http://caniuse.com/#feat=css-sel3
This patch adds such a selector to the staff client CSS and removes the
corresponding template markup from Administration pages. The last in
this series of patches will remove the redundant CSS.
Also in this patch: a few minor markup corrections.

The MARC preview feature seems to have been broken by Bug 11570 -
Upgrade jQueryUI to the latest version. When that patch was being
developed there were no existing cases where the jQueryUI dialog feature
was used, so the patch omitted it.
Rather than update the build of jQueryUI to include the dialog feature
I'm submitting a patch which uses a Bootstrap modal instead. This keeps
the jQueryUI library smaller and avoids an unnecessary duplication of JS
functionality. It also helps keep our modals consistent.
The implementation uses progressive enhancement principles to improve
click handling: Real links in the table, so that the preview link can be
opened in a new tab if the user chooses; Event handling in the
JavaScript instead of the markup ( $(selector).on(click... instead of <a
onclick=...).
To test, apply the patch and add or view a batch of staged MARC records
(Tools -> Staged MARC management). In the list of titles (the "Citation"
column) click any link and confirm that the MARC preview loads
correctly. Confirm that previews work correctly on any page and after
re-sorting.
Confirm also that the modal window flexibly handles different browser
window sizes.

On intranet results page, the callnumber of items is a search like :
/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/search.pl?idx=callnum&q=[% result.itemcallnumber |url %]
The callnumber should be URI-escaped to avoid special URI characters like & , ? ...
If the callnumber contains some CCL words or parenthesis, the search will fail, it should be wrapped with double-quotes.
This patch adds this to catalogue/results.pl and catalogue/shelves.pl :
- uri TT filter instead of url
- adds double-quotes using there URI code %22 since its in a HTML attribute using double-quotes
Test plan :
- Edit an item callnumber with : & ABC 123
- Index zebraqueue
- Perform a search returning this item

In koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/en/modules/opac-advsearch.tt template,
there is a surplus closing </div> in line 336 (= line 332, in case
Bug 12521 is applied first):
336: </div> <!-- / .span4 -->
which causes some minor layout problems for this page - i.e.: page
footer ("Powered by Koha" + custom footer set up in system prefrences -
if any) is "glued" to the bottom (to the language selection bar);
unless Bug 12521 is applied first, this affects the placement of the
2nd search bar as well.
To reproduce:
1/ go to the OPAC advanced search page
2/ zoom out (e.g., use Ctrl-<minus> several times) and obeserve the
result
3/ no need for step 2/ (zooming out) when using a display with
(relatively) high vertical resolution; also, this particullar problem
gets more apparent/more noticeable with MARC21/USMASRC "subtype"
options being hidden in the OPAC advanced search (Bug 9043).

With the introduction of the new automatic renewal feature global syspref
AllowRenewalLimitOverride is expanded in meaning. It now gives the option
to override blocks if:
- the number of allowed renewals is exceeded
- the renewal is premature (No renewal before)
- the item is scheduled for automatic renewal
- the renewal is premature and the item is scheduled for automatic renewal

This patch adds the new renewal errors 'auto_renew' and 'auto_too_soon'
to the renewal interface.
To test:
1) Issue two items:
- one with automatic renewal and no value for "No renewal before"
- another with automatic renewal and a value for "No renewal before"
2) Try to renew:
Home > Circulation > Renew
3) Confirm there are error messages explaining that the items have been
scheduled for automatic renewal and that one of the renewals is also
premature.
4) If global syspref AllowRenewalLimitOverride is set to "Allow" you
should be given the option to override.

This patch adds a checkbox for "Automatic renewal" to the checkout page.
CanBookBeRenewed is modified to include two new errors:
- auto_renew (renewal shouldn't be done manually)
- auto_too_soon (renewal is premature and shouldn't be done manually)
To test:
1) Add or edit an issuing rule with "Automatic renewal" and another
one without it.
2) Issue at least three items:
- automatic renewal by issuing rule
- automatic renewal by Checkbox on the checkout page
- no automatic renewal
3) Test the following steps for both:
Home > Circulation > Checkouts
Home > Patrons > Patron details
4) Confirm that issues with automatic renewal cannot be renewed manually,
even if there are still renewals left and it's not too soon to renew.
5) Confirm that "Scheduled for automatic renewal" and the remaining
renewals are displayed. If no renewals are left "Not renewable" should
be displayed.
6) Confirm that issues without automatic renewal behave as usual.

The sort order of the "today's checkouts" and "previous checkouts" row
groupings depends on the label, so in English "today's checkouts" comes
first. However, in other languages the reverse alphabetical order is
incorrect resulting in "previous checkouts" coming first.
This patch adds a dummy column with numeric data on which the sorting
can be done. This should make it translation-agnostic.
To test, apply the patch and install or update a translation which will
demostrate the problem (sv-SE for instance).
- Clear your browser cache and switch to the English templates.
- Check out some items to a patron who has checkouts from a previous
day.
- Confirm that the sorting of the "today's checkouts" and "previous
checkouts" row groups is correct.
- Switch to the new/updated translation and reload the circulation page
for that patron. Confirm that the sort remains correct.
- Confirm that the checkouts table looks correct and that other features
(sorting, checkboxes) still work correctly.
Revision: Corrected the table footer include to correct the colspan
error causing column misalignment.

In case when the staff user doesn't have (circulate) ->
(override_renewals) permission granted, this code part
var AllowRenewalLimitOverride = [%
CAN_user_circulate_override_renewals && AllowRenewalLimitOverride %];
in circ/circulation.tt and members/moremember.tt leads to javascript
error, because TT statement evaluates to empty string.
To reproduce:
- set AllowRenewalLimitOverride syspref to "Don't allow" (this step is
possibly redundant / not quite relevant),
- for testing purposes, log in as some (sample) staff user whitch does
not have permission granted for "(override_renewals) Override blocked
renewals",
- have a look at some patron accounts (preferably, ones with 1+
check-out), observe that page layout is incorrect in "Check Out" and
"Details" tab.
To test:
- apply patch,
- retest and ensure that this issue is no longer reproductible,
- make sure that there are no regressions of any kinds regarding renewal
override permission for staff users (i.e, that it still works like
intended).

It seems that Firefox date parser doesn't like our dates which are
formatted in ISO format like "2014-08-06 00:00:00". This results in
missing red color in overdue dates.
So intead of munching different date formats and JavaScript (and having
to support different browers) this patch moves check for overdue dates
back to mysql and just transfers boolean value to JavaScript so it can
show correct class for date_due.
Test scenario:
1. find borrower with overdue checkouts
2. verify that all dates are black (and are in ISO format)
3. apply this patch
4. reload page and verify that overdue dates turned red

Some libraries would like the ability choose to display the home branch
on search results while having circulation rules based on the holding
branch. This is currently impossible because both the display of the
branch in search results, and the selection of the home or holding
branch for circulation rules are controlled by the same system
preference: HomeOrHoldingBranch. This preference is described as being
used only for circulation rules, and makes no mention of its use for
display control. The display control should be split off into a separate
preference.

It would be helpful to be able to use the batch patron modification tool
to update city, state, zipcode, and country. This patch adds this
functionality.
This patch corrects an error in the batch modification script which
would have incorrectly marked first name as required if surname was
required.
This patch also converts the table sorting configuration to use table
header class names instead of index-based sorting for columns containing
dates.
To test, apply the patch and submit a batch of patrons to the batch
patron modification tool (Tools -> Batch patron modification).
In the list of patrons which will be modified you should see columns for
city, state, zipcode, and country. Table sorting should work correctly
without errors, including the registration and expiry date columns.
In the list of fields which can be batch modified you should see inputs
for city, state zipcode, and country. These fields should correctly
reflect mandatory/not mandatory based on the BorrowerMandatoryField
system preference.
Submit batch changes to a variety of fields and confirm that changes are
applied correctly. On the page of results the table should correctly
show all fields and be sorted correctly.

This patch removes an unnecessary and problematic "return true" which
causes conflicts with Greybox when clicking on "MARC" or "Card" in
the search results of a Z39.50 search. The result is that the user is
taken to the showmarc.pl page and cannot return to the results, which
makes Z39.50 searching pretty much unusable for IE 8 users.
This patch also cleans up the "inline links" display for the separate
Z39.50 search pages. The 'biblio' version now has inline links for LCCN,
and the 'authority' version now prevents inline links for the MARC
and Import cells.
_TEST PLAN_
1) Open Internet Explorer 8 (if you don't have IE 8, use whatever Internet
Explorer version you do have. You can use F12 developer tools to emulate it.)
2) Go to Cataloguing > New from Z39.50
3) Do a search that will get results
(N.B. if you're using IE9+, hit F12 in the pop-up and change to IE 8 mode)
4) Click on "MARC" or "Card".
5) Note that Greybox tries to open a pop-over, but instead follows the
link to showmarc.pl. (If you're on IE 8, you can't use "Back" to go
back to the search results. If you're using an emulated version, you
can.)
(If you're testing the inline links, click on the LCCN cell for a biblio
search (not that no inline links appear), or MARC and Import cells when
doing an authority search (not that inline links do appear). Look at
bug 10096 for authority z39.50 server details.)
6) Apply the patch
7) Repeat steps 1-5
8) Note that Greybox now appears correctly when clicking "MARC" and
"Card"
9) Note also that inline links now appear for LCCN cell for biblio
searches, and inline links no longer appear for MARC and Import
cells when doing authority searches.

I like to have this fixed. I'd like it to use C4::Templates::GetColumnDefs
instead, but it belongs to another bug report I guess.
By default, the accordion shows the first element (Acquisitions) which
is empty, and missleading. This patch collapses it by default.
The expected behaviour is that if we are rendering because the user saved
its changes, the modified accordion should be expanded, so I added a test
for the $panel variable.

This development introduces ColVis into Koha and provides a configuration
page for columns visibility.
ColVis is a plugin for DataTables. It allows to change the visibility of
the columns in the table.
* This development adds:
- the js and css file for ColVis
- a new DB table 'columns_settings'
- a new template plugin 'ColumnsSettings'
- a new package C4::Utils::DataTables::ColumnsSettings
- a new admin page admin/columns_settings.pl
* How it works:
A yaml file is created (admin/columns_settings.yml) in order to take an
inventory of all tables where ColVis is implemented. This file is read
to create the list of modules, pages and tables in the configuration
page.
There are 3 possible keys in the yml:
- is_hidden: default is 0
The column will be hidden.
- cannot_be_toggled: default is 0.
ColVis will allow to hide/show the column.
- cannot_be_modified: default is 0
Default values (in the yml) won't be modifiable.
When a user changes (or saves) the configuration for one module, all
columns are added to the DB table. The values in the DB get the upper hand
on the yaml values.
* Humm, strange?
It seems weird to have 2 storages for the same values. But I
think it will be easy to add an entry and maintain the yaml rather than
adding a new row (and new entry in updatedatabase script) in the DB.
* To go further: We can imagine that the configuration is saved for each
user (and not globally like it is made with this patch).
This patch cannot be tested as it, you need to apply the "POC" patch.

The inventory tool had no form of validating on what was assumed
to be a valid barcode number.
To solve this, an extra loop to read before processing was added.
This allows to validate length and content. By using a check
of \p{Print}, this includes Unicode characters such as umlauts,
but excludes unusual control characters.
The template was modified to accomodate validation messages
related to the length and content errors. Additionally, it says
how many "barcodes" were read. Barcodes are supposed to be on
separate lines.
TEST PLAN
---------
1) Attempt to select a file which does not contain barcodes and
is not a text file.
-- a horrible lack of validation and spamminess ensues.
2) Apply patch
3) Create three files.
a) One containing valid barcodes on each line
-- this file should trigger no errors. Attempt a valid
barcode with an umlaut.
b) A copy of the first with an extra line of >20 characters
(e.g. The Quick Red Fox Jumped Over The Brown Fence^A^B^C)
-- this file should trigger the singular error message case.
^A^B^C are actually CTRL-A,CTRL-B,CTRL-C, and it is left
as an exercise to the reader to add them to the line.
c) A copy of the second with the last line duplicated
-- this file should trigger the plural error message case.
4) Attempt each of the three files.
5) Run koha-qa tools.

- Go to Tools > Import patrons
- Notice branchcode and categorycode don't have dropdown menus with
valid options.
- Notice dateofbirth, dateenrolled and dateexpiry don't have date-pickers
- Notice each input field is labeled with the column name instead of a
proper description.
To test:
- Apply the patch, go to Tools > Import patrons
- Notice branchcode and categorycode have dropdown menus with valid options,
and by default the empty value is selected.
- Notice that if you go into the dateofbirth, dateenrolled and dateexpiry
fields, a nice date picker widget appears.
- Notice each field is labeled with the field description, and that the
column name is conveniently shown at the right of the input field.
Important: test switching the ExtendedPatronAttributes syspref, and verify that
if enabled, the patron_attributes field appears, and also the checkbox selector
controlling the extended patron attributes import behaviour shows too.
Bonus points: Verify that on a different language, the descriptions get translated,
and the column names show correctly

This patch removes only instance in this file.
Problem is that there are many template files
involved. Most of them have other instances of
scrolling_lists but is a problem for other bugs,
they will depend on this.
What is replaced is a pulldown for delimiter choices.
In all but one case the code is the same (variable name change),
and I did a little tidy of the TT code
To test:
1. Apply the patch
In all the following cases, check delimiters pulldown (Output box, bottom right)
2. Go to Reports > Statistics wizard > Acquisitions
3. Go to Reports > Statistics wizard > Patrons
4. Go to Reports > Statistics wizard > Catalog
5. Go to Reports > Statistics wizard > Circulation
6. Go to Reports > Statistics wizard > Serials
7. Go to Reports > Statistics wizard > Holds
there is a bug here, pulldown next to this must show 'CSV' option,
but shows nothing. Will be fixed
8. Go to Reports > Other > Average loan time
9. Go to Reports > Top lists > Patron checking out the most
Here there is a 'Delimiter' label before delimiters, only case
10. Go to Reports > Top lists > Most-circulated items
11. Go to Reports > Inactive > Patrons who haven't checked out
There is and inconsistency here, name of option on reports page,
and name on this report, 'Patrons with no checkouts'

Currently there's no way for the user to know he has a bad QueryParser configuration.
Koha would just fallback to not using it.
This patch adds a check for QueryParser configuration sanity in about.pl
To test:
- Have UseQueryParser = "Don't try"
- Go to More > About Koha > System information
- No QueryParser-related warnings
- Set UseQueryParser = "Try"
- Go to More > About Koha > System information
- On a normal setup you shouldn't have any QueryParser-related warnings
- Edit your koha-conf.xml file and change the queryparser_config entry to a
non-existent filename.
- Reload More > About Koha > System information
=> SUCCESS: a warning message tells you the filename used, and says it failed.
- Now just delete the entry in koha-conf.xml
- Reload More > About Koha > System information
=> SUCCESS: a warning message tells you don't have the queryparser_entry in
your koha-conf.xml file.
Subtest:
a - The file /etc/koha/searchengine/queryparser.yaml exists:
=> SUCCESS: a warning saying it used a fallback is shown
b - The file doesn't exist
=> SUCCESS: Missing entry warning, plus a failure message for the fallback.

This patch removes 3 occurences on aqplan.pl
To test:
1. You need a budget and a fund
2. Apply the patch
3. Go to Aquisitions, click on your fund
4. Select one of the options on pulldown Planning
e.g. "Plan by months"
5. Now to the left there are two boxes, Filter and Export
a) Filter: (1) pulldown below 'Select planning type'
check that works selecting other values and submit
This pulldown showed originally code types,
untranslatable BTW. Added a TT block to allow translation
and shows legends that match Planning pulldown, but not
the order.
b) Export: pulldowns for filetype (2) and delimiter (3)
Those have originally one value each, and for me Export
does not work, before or after patch, but check that
pulldown exist.
Notes:
A) 5.a) I can change de order of main Planning pulldown,
is harcoded. The values for Filter pulldown are sorted on
aqplan.pl. Is one or the other.
If desired, TT block can be moved to includes/budgets-admin-toolbar.inc
(where hardcoded Planning lives)
B) 5.b) Moved 'Export' legend inside it's box, like Filter.
C) Finally: there is something strange, before or after patch.
There is an empty option 'Planning by " if you select planning
using main pulldown, it disappears if you select planning using
Filter (not a mistery, using Planning fills $auth_cats_loop,
using Filter submit button does not)

There is currently no visual feedback to the user reflecting which of
multiple installed translations is currently selected. I think some
necessary styling didn't make it into the conversion to Bootstrap menus.
This patch attempts to improve things.
Most of the changes are to bring back the previous style of highlighting
the currently selected language. A new change is the addition of the
sub-language code to the display of the menu label if one of that menu
item's sub-languages is selected.
This patch also removes some obsolete CSS which referred to the old menu
system.
To test, apply the patch and install or update multiple languages,
including at least two sub-languages. In my test I used en, en-GB and
de-DE. Clear your browser cache if necessary. Enable all these languages
and test the functionality of the language selection menu in the footer.
- Non-enabled languages should appear as non-bold links.
- When a single language (with no sub-languages) is enabled it should
appear as bold text.
- When one of multiple sub-languages is enabled that selection in the
pop-up menu should appear as bold text. The menu label should show in
bold the language code of the selected sub-language.

When deleting a list the operation is blocked if there are items still
on the list, and the interface shows a warning which includes a count of
the items on the list. This count is broken for lists containing more
items than the number specified in the numSearchResults system
preference.
This patch corrects the item count to use an actual count of the total
number of results, not the total number of results in the first page of
results.
The template change to the staff client copies some language logic from
the OPAC template for dealing with a single number of list entries.
Test in both the OPAC and the staff client.
Check the number specified in the numSearchResults system preference and
locate or create a list containing more than that number of items. Try

correct total number of items on the list.

When merging 2 records (/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/merge.pl), the destination record is build using the fields and subfields checked in source records.
When a field is checked, the javascript code searches in destination record a field with a greater tag number to insert new field before.
When the new field tag number is greater than all existing field tag numbers, the field is not added.
This patch corrects this by adding at end if no greater field tag number exists. Also adds a sort of fields by tag number because all mergo code is based on this.
Test plan :
- Add to a framework a repeatable field with the greater non existing tag number. For example 998.

This patch revises the styling of the renewal success message to use a
default Bootstrap style more suited to inline messages. I think this is
preferable to using the alert style because the alert is designed to be
a block-level element.
http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/components.html#labels-badges
Because Koha's CSS already uses a "label" class for something else I
duplicate the Bootstrap "label" class in opac.css as "blabel." The

Currently, when a patron renews an item via the opac, the only feedback

This is the main patch.
On closing a budget period, all unreceived orders are moved from the
old/previous fiscal year into the new fiscal year.
You can rollover funds unused in the previous fiscal year to the new
fiscal year.
This patch set is based on bug 12168 (bugfix) and can be tested on top
of bug 11578 (easier to see the fund structure).
The patch set is cut in 6 main patches:
- Move the budget period clone logic into C4::Budgets
The code is moved from the pl to Budgets.pm and unit tests are provided.
The original code should certainly be buggy since a typo existed.
- On cloning budget period, mark original budget as inactive
Cloning a budget period is already possible in Koha, this patch adds a
checkbox to mark as inactive the original budget. That avoids to edit
the budget and click the "inactive" checkbox. Both do the same action.
- On cloning budget periods, add a "reset all funds" option
Same as before, a new checkbox is added on cloning a budget period. If
you check it, all fund amounts will be set to 0. Otherwise, no change
compared to the existing behavior.
- Close a budget period (budget)
The goal of this patch set is to move unreceived orders from a budget to
another. This patch adds a C4::Budgets::MoveOrders routine which does
this job.
This action is only possible if the fund structure is the same for both
budgets, the budget_code field should be the same.
- On closing budget period, move unspent amount
Unspent amount will be move from the previous budget structure to the
new one.
- Add UI report
This patch only adds a report when closing a budget is done.
Test plan:
Wording: below, budget is a "budget period" and fund is a "budget".
Prerequisite: Having 1 active budget with some funds (with different
levels and different amounts). Order and receive some orders (not all).
1/ Go on the budgets administration page (admin/aqbudgetperiods.pl) and
duplicate the structure of this budget ("Duplicate" link in the
"Actions" column).
2/ Enter start and end date for this budget and mark the original budget
as inactive.
3/ Note that a new budget is created, with the same fund structures (and
same value) and that the old one is marked as inactive (see
admin/aqbudgets.pl page with patches from bug 11578).
4/ Try to close the new budget: it is not possible, there is no
unreceived orders for this budget.
5/ You can close the inactive budget ("Close" link in the "Actions"
column).
6/ Verify the number of "Unreceived orders" is correct and select the
new budget in the budget list. Click on the "Move remaining unspent
funds" if you want to move unspent amounts.
7/ A report view is displayed and show you the ordernumber which have
been impacted (grouped by fund).
8/ Try different configuration, depending on the selected checkboxes.

This patch changes the OPAC list download process so that the download
link triggers a modal dialog instead of a pop-up window. This
streamlines the process a little bit and makes it work better on mobile
devices.
The download list page has been altered so that it works better as a
standalone page, as it might be seen if JavaScript is disabled. Simple
form validation has been added to help prevent submission of the form
without choosing a format.
To test the virtualshelves system preference must be enabled.
- View an existing list in the OPAC and click the "download list" link.
- A modal dialog should be displayed with the download form.
- Submitting the form without selecting a format should trigger either a
browser-based form validation error (in HTML5-supporting browsers) or
a JavaScript alert (if your browser doesn't support the "required"
attribute.
- Choosing a download format and submitting the form should close
the dialog and trigger the correct download.
- Clicking the "Cancel" link should close the dialog.
Test with JavaScript disabled:
- Clicking the "download list" link should take you to a page which
contains the same form which appeared in the modal dialog.
- Submitting the form without selecting a format should trigger either a
browser-based form validation error (in HTML5-supporting browsers) or
a JavaScript alert (if your browser doesn't support the "required"
attribute..
- Choosing a download format and submitting the form should result in
the corect download.
- Clicking the "Cancel" link should return you to the correct list.

Differences between circ-menu.tt and circ-menu.inc always crop up when a
new menu item is added--usually only to circ-menu.inc as happened with
Bug 9261.
Other sidebar differences are present due to differences in the patron
data passed by various patron-related script to their templates. This
patch also irons out some of these inconsistencies.
To test, apply the patch and check out to a patron whose record has more
than just basic data: othername, country, patron attributes, street
number, road types, etc. View the following pages and compare the patron
data and visible tabs to confirm that they match:
circ/circulation.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/boraccount.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/files.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/mancredit.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/maninvoice.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/member-flags.pl?member=X
members/member-password.pl?member=X
members/moremember.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/notices.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/pay.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/paycollect.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/purchase-suggestions.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/readingrec.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/routing-lists.pl?borrowernumber=X
members/statistics.pl?borrowernumber=X
tools/viewlog.pl?do_it=1&modules=MEMBERS&modules=circulation&src=circ&object=X
The only difference I've found which is not fixed by this patch is the
display of extended patron attributes in the sidebar of moremember.pl.

centralized solution, but at least it gets us back to consistency for
the moment.

- Have LocalCoverImages set to "Display" and AllowMultipleCovers set to "Allow".
- Go to the detail page of a record that has no images attached.
- The 'Images' tab conveniently shows the following message:
"No images have been uploaded..."
- Use the "upload" link to add a local cover to the record
- Complete the process, and "view final record".
- The 'Images' tab shows the added cover.
- Delete the cover image using the link below the cover.
=> FAIL: 'Click on an image...' message still shows instead of 'No images have been...'
To test:
- Apply the patch
- Repeat the previous steps
=> SUCCESS : 'No images have been...'
Bonus points: previous code didn't show a message at all if the user didn't have
permissions to upload local cover images. I've split the message in two:
- 'No images have been...' (for everyone)
- 'Please upload (link)...' (for those with the right permissions :-D
Regards
To+
Edit: I used JavaScript to inject the 'No images...' message to aid localization.
It can be improved once we fix some stuff in the translation scripts to better support
placeholders/variables in the templates.

This patch replaces DBIx search by find at two places in z3950servers.pl.
Furthermore, it adds testing on the results of the find method, passing
a not-found-message to the template whenever needed.
The function ServerSearch is adjusted to use HashRefInflator instead of
manually mapping the columns of result objects.
An additional defined-test in _form_data_hashref prevents shifting of
names and values in the result hash.

This patch makes a few tiny improvements on the form, does some
housekeeping/tidying up, and replaces SQL code by DBIC statements.
In detail:
- Adds an id parameter (more precise than searchfield).
- With the move from searchfield to id, you can rename a server now.
- A Copy button is added to clone a server.
- Confirming a delete is moved to javascript. No additional form anymore.
- A message about an insert, update or delete is shown in a div dialog
alert above the table instead of a separate form.
- Remove offset parameter, Next/Prev button and associated logic.
- All SQL statements are replaced by DBIC.
- Function StringSearch is renamed to DBICified ServerSearch.
- Remove tabs from script and template. Adjust some indentation.
Test plan:
- Test adding, editing and deleting Z3950 servers.
- Test searching for a server with the top search box (not table).
- Add a server with quotes in the name. Search for it. Edit or delete.
Followed tet plan. Patch behaves as expected.

When a patron has many checked out items, circulation.pl can take a very
long time to load ( on the order of minutes in some cases ). This is
primarily due to the processing of the previous checkouts list. If we
convert to this table to a datatable that fetches its data via ajax, we
can make circulation.pl far more responsive. The same should be done
with relative's checkouts as well.
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Observe that the checkouts and relatives' checkouts tables
are now loaded asynchronously
3) Observe and verify the renew and return actions are now
ajax based and function in a manner equivilent to how they
used to.

When an itemtype description contains a space character like " Book"
(often used to set this itemtype as first in sorted lists), the edition
of an existing circulation rule does not work, it selects the default
itemtype. Same for patron category.
It's because the JavaScript code performs a trim on value existing in
table itm = itm.replace(/^\s*|\s*$/g,''); This patch adds trim on select
options in editing line.
Test plan :
- Create an itemtype with a leading or trailling space in description :
ie " Book"
- Go to cgi-bin/koha/admin/smart-rules.pl
- Create a rule with this itemtype, Unit=hours and Hard due date=Exactly
on 31/12/2015 (any date)
- Click on Edit on this rule line
=> Without this patch, the default itemtype is selected in edition
line
=> With this patch, the correct itemtype is selected in edition line
Check others selects are ok :
- Create a rule with Unit=hours and Hard due date=Exactly on
31/12/2015 (any date)
- Click on Edit on this rule line
=> The correct options are selected

When doing a staff client catalog search with more than 1 page of results
and clicking the last result on any search result page, the top-left navigation

Issue:
When a patron has backslashes in his circulation notes, the JSON transportation
layer cannot send the message because it will fail JSON validation when trying to
validate backslashed non-literal characters (\s \d ...).
This causes the whole search to fail when even one Borrower has a non-literal
backslashed character in his notes.
Solution:
The Borrowers' circulation notes are filtered through a regexp which doubles all
backslashes to prepare them for the JSON validation routine.
Result:
Backslashes pass through unchanged.

This patch add DataTables using server-side processing for the patrons
search.
It adds:
- 1 module C4/Utils/DataTables/Members.pm
- 2 services svc/members/search and svc/members/add_to_list
- 1 template members/tables/members_results.tt
- 1 new practice which is to add template for DataTables in a
subdirectory named 'tables'.
Impacted scripts: members/members-home.pl and members/members.pl
To go further: We can imagine that all patrons searches use the same
service with no big changes: 1 little template creates a JSON file and
to implement DataTables on the template page, that's all.
Amended patch: Since bug 10565 has been pushed, these patches don't
apply cleanly. I had to rewrite a part of the patron list feature.
I removed the choice to add all resultant patrons from a search. I think
this choice is useless with this patch: we are able to display the
number of patrons we want and to select all of them.
Test plan:
- Check that there is no regression on searching patrons.
- Try filters on the left of the screen.
- Try to sort each column.
- Try the "Browse by last name" links.
- Check that the "Clear" button clears yours filters.
- Try with IndependantBranches ON and OFF.

Thx for fixing these!
Bug 9811 - multilines notes brakes JSON
In new patron search feature, the search results are fetched using Ajax and returned in JSON format.
The JSON is created by TT using koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/members/tables/members_results.tt.
One of the fields is the borrower notes. When this notes contains several lines, the JSON is broken.
This patch uses TT fileters to consert in notes linefeeds into HTML line break (html_line_break) and then remove linefeeds (collapse).
Test plan :
- perform a member search that does not return a borrower with a circ note
- edit one of the borrowers returned by this search
- enter serveral lines of text in "Circulation note" and save
- reperform the member search
=> circ note is well displayed on several lines
Bug 9811: use count(primary_key) instead of count(*)
Bug 9811: A limit clause should be always added.
By default, we want to retrieve 20 first results.
Bug 9811: Load the page without any data.
Displaying the first 20 patrons is not useful. With this patch, the
table is hidden and no record is retrieved by default.
On the same way, the existing side effect on redirect disappears.

-TEST REPORT-
-------------
For the filter: Tested all the search fields, branches, search type.
Found a bug with "date of birth", followup provided.
Tested display limits and verified that AJAX-queries are
efficient (using LIMIT clause) to not stress DB needlessly.
Tested adding Patrons to a list.
A good feature, which seems to work quite well.

Each time the "renew all" or "renew or return" buttons are click, the
renewal process is triggered. If the patron only has one renewal left,
and the button is multi-clicked, the librarian may receive a
"renewal failed" message even though the renewal did occur. In
addition, this can just unwanted multiple consecutive renewals
as well.
Test Plan:
1) Check out an item to a patron that can have 1 renewal
2) Click the "renew all" button multiple times, fast and furiously
3) Note the "renewal failed" messaged
4) Apply this patch
5) Repeat steps 1 and 2
6) Note the item is now renewed without the failure message

The size column in biblioitems is a bit problematic when used in TT, because instead of the size value from the biblio column it will give you the size of the variable.
It's currently used in the templates for sending shelves from OPAC and intranet and maybe also in other places:
[% END %]
[% IF BIBLIO_RESULT.size %]
, [% BIBLIO_RESULT.size %]
[% END %]
This patch corrects by using item() TT method.
See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2311303/how-can-i-handle-hash-keys-containing-illegal-identifier-characters-in-template.
Test plan :
In each display :
=> Without this patch you see biblioitems.pages and then a number
=> With this patch you only see biblioitems.pages
- Create a record with biblioitems.pages defined (like "12p") but without biblioitems.size defined
Same for OPAC and intranet :
- Add it to the cart
- Open the cart
- Check the "Title" column
- Click on "More Details"
- Check the "Details" row
- Send the basket via email and check the result
- Add to a list
- Send the list via email and check the result

The default Bootstrap input size (absent any specific input size or
class) is too short for the suggestion form. This patch adds a Bootstrap
class to fields which need more room and adjusts the OPAC CSS to allow
for better handling of input width at lower screen widths.
To test apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary. Open
the "new suggestion" form in the OPAC and confirm that the entry fields
for title, author, publisher, and collection title are sized well.
Adjust the width of your browser window up and down to confirm that the
field sizes adjust well at various screen widths.
Followed test plan. Works as expected.

On the cataloguing search (cataloguing/addbook.pl), if an item has a
notforloan value > 0, the item is not listed in the Location column.
It is quite confusing, the current behavior let patrons believe that
there is not item for the biblio (or less than the real count).
Test plan:
1/ Create 2 biblio records A and B
2/ Create some items for A
3/ Create 1+ item(s) for B with a notforloan status > 0
4/ Reindex both records
5/ Launch a search on the cataloguing module and verify that the
notforloan items are not listed in the 'Location' column.
6/ Apply this patch and verify the not for loan items are listed ("Not
for loan (XXX)").
