This patch changes the behavior of the SMS cellular providers management
page so that sections of the page are shown or hidden based on what the
current task is. Other changes include:
- Moving JavaScript to a separate file
- Adding a toolbar with a "New SMS provider" button.
- Adding the "generic" catalog search header form to the top of the
page.
- Adding "Required" classes to required fields so that the staff
client's built-in JS validation library can be used.
To test, the SMSSendDriver system preference must be set to "Email."
Apply the patch and go to Administration -> SMS cellular providers.
- Confirm that the add/edit form is hidden initially. A toolbar with a
"New SMS provider" button should appear with existing SMS cellular
providers in a table below. If there are no existing providers a
message dialog should say so.
- Confirm that the "New SMS provider" button works:
- The table should be hidden and an empty "add" form displayed.
- Confirm that an empty form cannot be submitted.
- Confirm that submitting valid data works.
- Confirm that clicking the "Cancel" button hides the form and
redisplays the table.
- Test the "edit" button for an existing provider:
- Confirm that the edit form is displayed and populated with the
correct data.
- Confirm that edits are saved correctly.
- When viewing the table of existing providers, confirm that clicking
the "Delete" button triggers a confirmation dialog. Test both
cancelling and confirming that dialog.
- Ponder whether all this is an improvement or not.

A simple regex is added to the basket and detail templates to select the
URLs passed separately from MARC21 555$u by GetMarcNotes. Note that the
regex tests if a note starts with http:// or https:// and does not contain
any whitespace in order to be considered as a url.
These URLs are put in an anchor tag.
This touches four places:
[1] opac detail, tab title notes
[2] catalogue detail, tab Descriptions
[3] opac basket, more details, notes
[4] staff basket, more details, notes
Test plan:
[1] Edit a record. Add a 500$a, 555$a and a URL in 555$u.
Put "http://this is not a url" in the 500$a (whitespace!).
[2] Check opac-detail, tab Title Notes. Check the URL.
[3] Do the same for catalogue/detail.
[4] Add record to cart in OPAC. Open basket. Check More details.
[5] Repeat previous step in staff.

This patch allows for more flexibility for determining when the number
of holds a record has should trigger the reduction of the loan length
for items on that record.
This patch adds a new system preference decreaseLoanHighHoldsControl,
which defaults to 'static', the original behavior of the feature.
It also has a new behavior 'dynamic' which makes the feature only
decrease the loan length if the number of holds on the record exceeds
the number of holdable items + decreaseLoanHighHoldsValue.
It also allows items to be filtered from the list of items based
on the damaged, lost, not for loan, and withdrawn values even if
those values would have allowed holds ( i.e. values < 0 )
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Set decreaseLoanHighHolds to Enable
4) Set decreaseLoanHighHoldsControl to "over the number of items on the record"
5) Set decreaseLoanHighHoldsDuration to 1
6) Set decreaseLoanHighHoldsValue to 3
7) Create a record with 5 items
8) Please 8 or more holds on the record
9) Check out one of the items to a patron
10) Note the loan length is reduced to 1 day
11) Set decreaseLoanHighHoldsValue to 3 to 2
12) Check out one of the items to a patron
13) Note the loan length is *not* reduced
14) Enbale all the filters possible in decreaseLoanHighHoldsIgnoreStatuses
15) Set one item to be damaged

This subroutine just retrieved the messages given some parameters.
Some job should not have been done in this subroutine.
It was called only 3 times, in circ/circulation.pl and opac-user.pl.
Basically it was used to retrieved the message to displaye for a given
patron ($borrowernumber) at the OPAC (B) or Staff (L).
For the 3 calls, the 2 parameters $borrowernumber and $type
(message_type) were passed, the "%" trick at the beginning of the
subroutine was useless.
Moreover, the date formatting should be done on the TT side, not in
subroutine.
The can_delete flag was set if the branchcode given in parameter was the
same as the one of the message. This has been delegated to the template.
Indeed the can_delete was not valid, since it must depend on the
AllowAllMessageDeletion pref.
The test is now:
IF message.branchcode == branch OR
Koha.Preference('AllowAllMessageDeletion'')
There is not specific test plan for this patch, the changes have already
been tested in previous patches.

The holds queue is typically generated many times a day in order to
select items to fill holds. Often these items are to be sent to a
different library. However, if the library whose item is picked to fill
a hold is closed, that hold will remain unfilled even if there are other
open libraries who own that item. It would be helpful if we could skip
closed libraries for the purpose of selecting items to fill holds.

This patch allows to resend both sent and failed messages.
With messages in 'sent' status, we have to be careful not to accidentally send
sent messages again. With the previous patch using GET request, this was likely
to happen because of browser storing the GET parameters.
This patch changes request method from GET to POST. Instead of a simple link,
we now have a form element.
In notices.pl we redirect back to notices.pl, because with POST there is a risk
of resending the message accidentally by form resubmission at refresh.
To test, find/create a Patron that has sent or failed notices in message_queue:
1. Enable EnchancedMessagingPreferences system preference
2. Go to Patrons -> Notices
3. In the Notice column, click the title of the sent or failed message
4. Observe that there is nothing for resending the sent or failed message
5. Apply the patches.
6. Reload Notices page and repeat step 3
7. Observe that there is now a link "Resend" in the Status-column
8. Click Resend
9. Observe that the message gets into 'pending' status

The C4::Letters module does not have a GetMessage subroutine, which
could be quite useful.
This patch adds it and simplifies the code added by the previous patch.
It also adds a few tests and fixes POD typos.
Note that ResendNotice only resends failed messages. This will avoid to
resend already sent messages (using an url from the browser history for
instance).
Signed-off-by: Brendan A Gallagher <brendan@bywatersolutions.com>
This patch adds a link 'Resend' under a notice in 'failed' status
in the Patron's Notices tab.
By clicking the link, we will request notices.pl with parameter
"resendnotice=XXXXX" where XXXXX is message_id. In notices.pl,
we then check whether the given message is actually in 'failed'
status. If so, we use the C4::Letters::ResendMessage(123) to
change the status of the message into 'pending'. This way it
will be processed again by the cronjob process_message_queue.pl.
To test, find/create a Patron that has failed notices in message_queue:
1. Enable EnchancedMessagingPreferences system preference
2. Go to Patrons -> Notices
3. In the Notice column, click the title of the failed message
4. Observe that there is nothing for resending the failed message
5. Apply patch.
6. Reload Notices page and repeat step 3
7. Observe that there is now a link "Resend" in the Status-column
8. Click Resend
9. Observe that the message gets into 'pending' status

This patch adds:
- a new DB field items.new.
- a new page to configure this new status
(tools/toggle_new_status.pl).
- a new cronjob script (misc/cronjobs/automatic_item_modification_by_age.pl
was misc/cronjob/toggle_new_status.pl)
Why this status is useful for some libraries ?
The use cases are:
- to know easily what are the new items (with a simple sql query).
- to display an icon in the search results.
- issuing rules can be adapt for new items. Automatically (using the
cronjob script), the status change (depending the configuration) and
the item can be issued, for example.
- a RSS/Atom feeds can be created on these new items.
Test plan:
- log in with a librarian having the tools > items_batchmod permission.
- navigate to Home > Tools > Automatic item modifications by age (was: Toggle new status)
- click on the edit button
- there are 3 "blocks":
* duration: the duration during an item is considered as new.
* conditions: the status will change only if the conditions are meet.
* substitutions: if there is no substitution, no action will be done.
You can add some change to apply to the matching items.
E.g. ccode=3
new=''
If the value is an empty string (in other words, the input does not
contain anything), the field will be deleted.
You can create as many rules as you want.
- test the interface : add/remove rule, conditions, substitutions,
submit the form, edit, etc.
(There is a looot of JS everywhere, so certainly a looot of bugs...).
- when you have your rules defined, you can now launch the cronjob
script without any parameter.
A report will be displayed with the matching itemnumber and the
substitutions to apply. Verify results are consistent.
- launch the script with the -c argument and verify values have been
modified depending the substitution rules.

This patch replaces the email address text overflow solution implemented
by Bug 3256 with a CSS3 technique: text-overflow: ellipsis
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/text-overflow
To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache. Edit the primary
email address of a patron so that it is very long. View that patron in
the staff client (on the checkout or details page, for instance) and
confirm that the email address is truncated with "..."
Confirm that the link and the title attribute of the link contain the
correct, full email address.
Revision uses a percentage instead of a fixed width for email display in
the sidebar to accommodate varying sidebar widths. Also added: Handling
of all email addresses displayed on the patron detail page. Although
email addresses in the body of that page were not in the scope of the
original patch, it's a good improvement to include those as well.

The batch checkout template has some markup and JavaScript problems
which need to be resolved, including:
- Mismatched <h3></h1>
- JavaScript includes which are not used
- Incorrect DataTables configuration
- Incorrect class on warning dialogs
- Incorrect terminology: Use "checkout" instead of "issue"
This patch also changes the markup and styling of batch checkout errors,
using Font Awesome icons to retain highlighting of warnings and errors
while (I hope) improving readability.
To test, apply the patch and go to batch checkout for a patron for whom
batch checkouts are enabled.
- Check out a batch of barcodes. Include items which will trigger errors
or warnings. For example: Invalid barcodes, lost items, items which
are already checked out, items which are on hold for another patron,
items which are damaged.
- When the table of items is displayed so that you can confirm the
checkout, make sure the table is sortable.
- Think about whether the style changes on warnings and errors are an
improvement.
- Try to initiate a batch checkout to a patron who is restricted. You
should see an "alert" style dialog instead of a "message" style one.
- Validate the HTML and confirm that there are no errors raised by this
template's markup.

Currently the 'NoRenwalBefore' setting is always based on the exact
DateTime of the due date. This patch introduces a new global syspref for

only. This is only relevant for loans caluclated in days. Hourly loans
are not affected.
To test:
1) Apply bug 14101, then apply this patch.
2) Run installer/data/mysql/updatedatabase.pl
3) Confirm that a new syspref NoRenewalBeforePrecision is available
in administration. It should let you choose between 'date' (default)
and 'exact time'.

The singleBranchMode system preference does not make sense.
Either the install has only 1 library defined or several. In both case,
we can easily guess the behavior to follow.
So the idea of this patch is to replace the fetch of this syspref with a
call to count the number of libraries defined in DB.
Test plan:
1/ From a fresh Koha install, execute the DB entry to remove the pref.
2/ Define only 1 library
3/ Confirm that Koha behaves the same as before (try to change your
library, look at the facets)
4/ Create another library (or more) and reinsert the pref and set it:
insert into systempreferences (variable, value)
values('singleBranchMode', 1);
5/ Execute the DB entry
You should get a warning message.
6/ Repeat 3.

We should strive to keep as much JavaScript as possible out of templates
in order to keep things modular and maximize the benefits of browser
caching. This patch moves JavaScript out of the patron entry template
Two other minor edits: Missing semicolons added on the advice of JSHint.
To test, apply the patch and confirm that the following interactions
still work on the patron entry form:
1. clear_entry(): With ExtendedPatronAttributes enabled, the "Clear"
link next to any attribute form field should work to clear the field.
2. clone_entry(): With ExtendedPatronAttributes enabled and a repeatable
attribute defined, it should be possible to click the "New" link to
add another instance of that attribute's entry field.
3. update_category_code(): With ExtendedPatronAttributes enabled and an
attribute defined which is limited to a single patron category,
changing the patron category selection should correctly show or hide the
attribute entry form.
4. select_user(): When adding or editing a patron with a "Child"
category it should be possible to search for and select a guarantor
to add to the record by clicking the "Set to patron" button.
Selecting a new guarantor should change the text of the button from
"Set to patron" to "Change."
5. noEnterSubmit(): This function should be correctly preventing you
from hitting "ENTER" in any form field to submit the form.
6. guarantordelete(): When adding or editing a patron with a "Child"
category, it should be possible to clear existing guarantor
information by clicking the "Delete" button. Clicking the "Delete"
button should change the text of the adjacent button to "Set to
patron."
7. select_city(): With one or more cities defined it should be possible
to use the drop-down menu of cities to populate the city, state, zip,
and country fields.
8. Date of birth entry should have a maximum date limit of yesterday.
The drop-down menu of years should go back 100 years.
9. Client-side validation rules should be in effect, requiring that a
valid email address be entered in the primary email, secondary email,
and alternate address email fields.
10.When editing a patron, the "Add manual restriction" link should
display the form for adding a manual restriction, and clicking the
"Cancel" link should hide it.

When checking in an on-hold item which is waiting, the "Cancel" button
cancels the hold, so it should say so. This patch changes the text.
This patch also moves the 'cancel hold' button to the middle, on the
theory that buttons on the left should default to 'confirm' and buttons
on the right should generally imply 'cancel'--as in 'do nothing.' Moving
it to the middle seems like a good place to put it where users will have
to think about clicking it.

If a MARC framework is in use by any records it should not be possible
to delete it. Deleting a framework which is in use will leave the
deleted framework code in those records.

Nearly all cellular providers allow a person to send an text message to a cellular
phone by sending an email to phonenumber@provider. We can leverage this capability
to add the ability for Koha to send sms messages to patrons without the need to
subscribe to an sms gateway server.
Basic plan:
1. Add a table sms_providers to the db to tell Koha what service providers are available, and what domain emails should be sent to.
2. Add borrowers.sms_provider_id to tell Koha which mobile service the patron subscribes to for the number given in smsalertnumber
3. Modify Koha to send an email rather than using SMS::Send if the driver is set to 'Email'
Test plan:
0) Get a mobile phone
1) Apply the patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Set the value of SMSSendDriver to 'Email'
4) Go to the admin page, the "Additional parameters" area should now have the link "SMS cellular providers"
5) On this page, add some providers. Make sure to add the provider for your own cellular phone service.
Here are some examples:
Sprint phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
Verizon phonenumber@vtext.com
T-Mobile phonenumber@tmomail.net
AT&T phonenumber@txt.att.net
Only add the domain part in the 'domain' field. So for Verizon, that would be 'vtext.com'
6) Create an account for yourself, add your SMS number, and select your provider from the dropdown box directly below it.
7) Enable SMS messaging for Item check-in and Item checkout
8) Check out an item to yourself
9) Run process_message_queue.pl

Followup changes text from "The user can reset | can not reset their password on OPAC" to "Library users are allowed | not allowed to recover their password via e-mail in the OPAC"
This change more clearly differentiates the purpose of this new preference from OpacPasswordChange.
Bug 8753 - followup - update text for link to match common UI paradigms, fixes OpacPublic disabled view
Also corrects OpacNav being included on the reset page on private catalogues.
Updated the link for forgotten passwords to more closely match common UI paradigms, i.e. Facebook and Twitter
To test:
apply all patches, link should now be the less verbose "Forgot your password?"
disable OpacPublic, anything in opacnav should not appear (you may need to add something to opacnav to test properly)
Bug 8753 - [followup] fix the title on opac-password-recovery.tt
The title stanza was missing a <title></title> around it, causing the extra text to appear.
To test, apply all patches and make sure it looks ok and there is no extra text at the top or bottom of the page.

I've addressed a lot of Liz Rea's points.
1. I have moved the code from updatedatabase.pl and kohastructure.sql to a file in the atomicupdates directory.
1a. The feature is now off by default when the atomicupdate is run.
2. The password reset link is now visible on the home page, in the modal box and on opac-user.pl .
3. The password recovery pages now use bootstrap markup.
4. I am unsure here. I see "New Password:" and "Confirm new password:".
5. This should still work :).
6. I could not reproduce.
7. I have added the userid field.
You can now reset the password by submitting either your useid or email address.
Both fields can be filled, but the email address must be one of the borrower's (email, emailpro or b_email).
When entering only the email address and two borrowers use that same address, the system tells the user to try with another address or to specify his userid.
8. The text is in the atomicupdate file. Have at it, anyone.
Concerning the email. It is inconvenient for the use to have to wait X minutes for the message queue the be processed.
Maybe we could add a sub in Letters.pm that:
Takes the same argments as EnqueueLetter
Sends the letter.
Saves the letter in the message queue with a 'sent' status.
TEST PLAN:
Setup)
1) apply the patch
2) go to system preferences OPAC>>Privacy and set 'OpacResetPassword' to ON.
2b) make sure that OpacPasswordChange is also ON.
A)
1) refresh front page, click on 'Forgot your password' and enter a VALID address
1b) Also try an INVALID address (valid yet not in your koha db). An error message will show up.
2) An email should be received at that address with a link.
3) Follow the link in the mail to fill the new password.
Until a satisfactory new password is entered, the old password is not reset.
4) Go to main page try the new password.
B)
1) Repeat the password reset, this time use the userid (username) field.
2) Try to reset the password using a userid and an email not linked to the account. An error appears.
3) Make sure the borrower has many available email addresses.
4) For each email, reset the password using both the userid and the email. The link should be sent to the specified address
C)
1) Make sure two borrowers use the same email.
2) Repeat the reset procedure in test case A). An error message appears

'Withdrawn' is an authorised value just like 'Lost' and 'Damaged,' so
the item detail screen should offer the same means of selecting one of
multiple values.
This patch re-uses the same template markup and code 'Lost' and 'Damage'
use to make it possible to select a specific withdrawn value.
To test you should have multiple values entered for the authorised value
category 'WITHDRAWN'.
1. Apply the patch and locate any record in the catalog.
2. From the detail screen, click the barcode in the items table to go to
the item detail page.
3. Confirm that there is a dropdown list of choices for 'Withdrawn
status.'
4. Try both setting and unsetting various withdrawn statuses.

lower-case." eg. dc:date, dc:creator" and section "4.3 Example - a

I have only done this where the tags split the sentence.
To test:
1) Go to a borrower's check out page (circulation.pl)
2) Check out a book and specify the due date to a past date (ie, to 2015 etc)
3) Confirm the entire sentence in the error message is styled by the span tags.
4) Create a manual invoice of $100 for the borrower
5) Confirm the entire sentence in the error message styled by span tags.
6) Check the patch and the circulation.tt file and confirm that I haven't missed any tags that split the string and make translation difficult.
I personally do not prefer this patch because the red bold sentences don't look very good and aren't highly readable.

With the changes for RDA now more subfields for the fields
100, 110, 111, and 700, 710, 711 are displayed.
One of them is $d - Dates associated with a name
This patch adds separate treatment of the $d subfield and
wraps it in a span with the class "authordates".
This makes it possible to hide the information with CSS.
To test:
- Make sure you have several records with $d catalogued
- Check the display in result list and detail page
with and without the page.
- Check, if there is a difference in display
- Check if the dates are correctly wrapped in a span
- Try to hide the information, using the following
entry in your *UserCSS preferences:
.authordates { display: none; }

This patch fixes translatability issues on checkin page, due to sentence splitting by html tags at
several places and ambiguous word 'to'.
Additionally, fix message related to syspref AllowReturnToBranch set to 'only the library where the
item is checked out from' (it wrongly displays the home library instead of the holding library),
and streamline the display of similar messages to look more consistent.
To test:
- Apply patch
- Go to Home > Circulation > Check in
- Do check ins with different expected results / messages
- Verify that the messages are meaningful and display nicely
- Play with items checked out / checked in at different branches (home branch, holding branch, other
branch) and different settings for syspref 'AllowREturnToBranch' and verify that the messages display
properly (with correct home rsp. holding branch)
- Carfully review code changes.

On creating new dictionary for report, the choice between "All dates"
and "Date range" should be a real radio button, not 2 radio buttons with
different names (which means they could be selected altogether...)
Note that I don't understand what means 'All dates', there is no
condition generated for the dictionary. We should not have to select a
field if we don't want to add a condition on it :)

Using a mouse to click on the alphabetic index letters works even though
the anchor markup doesn't contain an href attribute. However you
can't tab to them using the keyboard, and I assume the issue with

This patch adds a dummy href attribute and a class-based click handler
so that we can get rid of the "onclick" attribute in the markup.

Currently if the AnonymousPatron system preference is in use, all patron
data is anonymized. Some libraries would like to be able to see the last
patron who returned out an item ( in case of damage ) but still keep all
other patrons anonymized.
* Add the table items_last_borrower ( id, itemnumber, borrowernumber )
* Add new system preference StoreLastBorrower
* If StoreLastBorrower is enabled, upon checkin have Koha insert into
this table the patron who last returned this item. Replace existing
row based on itemnumber if exists.
* If table has a row for a given item, link to the patron from the item
details page.

Currently the fee is applied on if all items for the record are issued
and at least one hold already exists on the record.
This patch does not give a complete answer to the problem (see
discussion on bug 13592 for the other user's expectations).
It only adds the ability to charge for any hold placed regardless of the
conditions.
Test plan:
1) Execute the updatedb entry to insert the new pref
2) Confirm that the behavior is the same as before applying this patch
3) Change the HoldFeeMode pref to 'always'
4) Note that the fee is applied for any hold placed

Currently, if you are editing or viewing the results of running a
report and you decide you want to delete it, you have to go back
to the list of saved reports to do so. This patch adds a "Delete"
link in some convenient places.
To test:
- Apply the patch
- Make sure you have at least one saved report
- Make sure you have the create_reports permission
- Go to the Show, Edit and Run screens and verify the Delete link
is present and functional, including the JavaScript confirmation
dialogue
- Change to a user without the create_reports permission and check
that the Delete link is not displayed on the Show, Edit and Run
screens
- Sign ye off merrily!
Version 2: This version makes sure the JavaScript confirmation is
shown before an actual delete is carried out.

This patch adds the ability to set the maximum fine for a given item to
its replacement price ( assuming the replacement price is set ). If
overduefinescap is also set, the fine will be the lesser of the two, if
both apply to the given overdue checkout.
To enable this new limit, create or edit your circulation rules and
check the checkbox for "Cap fines at replacement price"
Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) Run updatedatabase.pl
3) Pick an item, and set it's replacement price to 3.99
4) Edit the circulation rule that would apply to this item
and the patron you will check it out to.
5) Check out the item to the patron, and backdate the due date
such that the fine generated would be more than 3.99

When nl-search.pl gets data from the Norwegian national patron
database, it does so in an XML format that has Norwegian element
names. nl-search.pl displays the data with the Noregian element
names as labels. This means Norwegian words turn up in translations,
which is messy. This patch replaces the Norwegian labels with
English ones.
To test:
- Only Norwegian libraries and vendors get access to search against
the national patron database, so a proper functional test is not
possible
- Alternative 1: Just have a look at the nl-search.tt template
before and after the patch and verify that after the patch the
Norwegian strings that would be visible to a user are gone
- Alternative 2:
- Verify that e.g. en-GB-staff-prog.po contains the Norwegian
string "kjonn"
- Apply the patch
- Create new .po files with e.g. "./translate create en-GB"
- Verify that "kjonn" is now gone from en-GB-staff-prog.po
Version 2: Tweak a couple of labels to be more in line with labels used
elsewhere in Koha, to avoid variants when translating.
Version 3: Replace e.g. "Gender: </span>" with "Gender:</span> " to
avoid similar-except-for-whitespace strings in translation.

- Changes "Publication Date" to "Publication date"
in the CSV export
- Fixes 'no JavaScript fallback' display to match
the normal display
- only show 'by' when it's UNIMARC and an author
exist
- show copyrightdate if publicationyear is empty
To test:
- Turn of Javascript in your browser before you
item search. This will activate the alternative
display.
- For MARC21:
- Verify that the author displays when existing
and no 'by' is shown.
- Verify that the publication date is now shown.
- For UNIMARC:
- Verify that 'by' only displays when there is
an author to display.
- Verify that the publication date is still
shown.
- Try the CSV export.

This subroutine does a lot a processing and should only be called when
necessary.
In the get_template_and_user subroutine (so called from any pages of
Koha), it is call to pass the branchcode, title, firstname, surname and
borrowernumber values for the logged in user.
This subroutine calls GetMemberAccountRecords which retrieve the items
infos for all accountlines entries of the logged in user.
On members/members.pl, let's say you have 74 entries in the accountlines
tables, the page will execute 115 SELECT instead of 35 if you don't have any
accountlines entries.
With this patch, the number of SELECT is always 31.
To test this patch you should have technical skills to know what to do.
Note that USER_INFO was an array of... 1 element. Now it's a hashref.

At the moment we can search authorities from two places: authorities-home.pl and auth_finder.pl (while cataloguing).
The auth_finder.pl page offers searching specifically in the $a of the main heading, while the authorities home page doesn't.
Additionally, the wording and order of the options is different.
authorities-home.pl has:
Search main heading
Search all headings
Keyword search
while auth_finder.pl has:
Main entry ($a only)
Main entry
Anywhere
Heading match
This patch will add some consistency so that both pages offer:
Search main heading ($a only)
Search main heading
Search all headings
Search entire record
Test plan:
- apply patch
- go to authorities home
- check that previous searches are still working
- check that the new ($a only) search is working
- go to auth finder (from cataloguing)
- check that searches are still working
- check that we do have the same wording in both pages and that forms are now consistent

If one save the login and password used to authenticate in staff interface, when creating a new patron, those login and password are filled in the corresponding inputs in the form.
This behaviour is awkward from web browser.
A trick is provided by http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10738090/why-firefox-autocomplete-even-with-different-input-name
I found that the best way is to use an hidden disabled input between userid and password.
Test plan :
- Log into Koha
- Allow the browser to save the userid/password
- Be sure that you have only one userid/password for this Koha
- Loggout
- Re log to check the browser autocomplets the authentication form
- Create a new patron
=> Without patch your saved userid/password have been added to the form
=> With patch your saved userid/password have not been added to the form

Bug 14966 fixed a bug but introduced another one: With
IndependentBranches set to 'prevent', if the librarian (without the
superlibrarian permission) can edit items but not all, the table is
broken. DataTables raises the following warning: "DataTables warning:
table id=DataTables_Table_1 - Requested unknown parameter '8' for row0."
And does not display correctly.
Test plan:
1/ Create a biblio record with 1+ items located in different places.
2/ Create/use a patron with the permission to edit items
3/ Set the IndependentBranches pref to 'prevent'
4/ With this patron logged in, go on the record detail page.

missing, DataTables raises a warning).

Bug 7298 tried to fix this issue, but it was not correct.
We have 3 files in acqui/csv:
basketgroup.tt, basket.tt and lateorders.tt
The first 2 don't contain translatable string, and are not modified on
translating the templates (`translate install`)
On the contrary, lateorders.tt has some strings to translate ('Author:',
'Published by:', etc.). After being translated, all carriage returns
between TT tags are removed.
Test plan:
1/ choose a language and update + translate the templates
for instance:
cd misc/translate;
./translate update es-ES; ./translate install es-ES
2/ Go to acqui/lateorders.pl using this language
3/ Generate a csv for 1+ late orders and confirm the first line only
contains the headers.

The reason the budget_period_id was not defined was because in
two cases it was not passed! This patch adds those missing
parameters. And as a result, cuts out the attempt to default the
authcat to '' unless the budget_period_id is defined.
Additionally, the start and end months don't seem to be passed,
so rather than have it blow up, checking them forces the else
case logic.
budget_period_id is the budget id. If you have two budgets,
you can craft a URL to work with budget_period_id matching
those two ids. Anything else should trigger the new error which
was modified to reflect more of what the problem is.
Follow the test plan in comment #6. Feel free to also to attempt
crafting URLs and triggering errors.

This patch is to display corrextly the new dmydot date format e.g. after
using the datepicker or in messages for the user, in following files:
- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/calendar.inc
- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/date-format.inc
- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/patron-search.inc

- Make sure that you have syspref dateformat set to dmydot
- Use datepicker in OPAC (modify birth date), verify that after
choosing a date, it is displayed correctly in the datepicker
- Use datepicker at several places in OPAC, verify that after choosing

around shelves messages. It split a monster
translation string into its components.
This kind of string to translate is error-prone.
Also fixed a typo on opac, 'deleteing'
To test:

This patch replaces all use of C4::Dates with Koha::DateUtils, which is
the best practice to follow.
It also fixes a bug on the invoice search, the shipment date (from and
to) were not passed correctly from one page to the other.
Test plan:
1/ Search for orders using the different filters
2/ Create an invoice, try with setting and leaving empty the date
fields.
Default should be an undefined value (not today)
3/ Search for invoices and use the 4 different filters.
Close and reopen invoices.
The filters should be kept from one page to the other (not that it does
not work with shipment date before this patch).
4/ Receive an order, on creating the invoice, the default date should be
today.

Warning: This area is a mess, especially with date management.
For the same reasons as other "Remove C4::Dates from*" patches, this one
will deal with the serials module.
Note that this patch add the datepicker on 3 input fields (on
serials/subscription-detail.tt and serials/subscription-renew.tt).
There was also weird behavior when the dates were invalid. Now default
to undefined. But with the datepicker it will reduce the number of
cases even if the user is still allowed to fill invalid dates.
Test plan:
1/ Create a subscription, fill the first issue pub date and the
subscription start date.
You can fill or not the end date.
Play with the numbering pattern and confirm that there are generated as
before this patch.
2/ On the check expiration page, confirm that the dates are correctly
displayed.
3/ Renew the subscription and confirm that the behavior is correct.
4/ Go on the subscription history page and confirm you have now the
datepicker plugin set on the 2 date fields.
QA notes: The startdate, histstartdate and enddate are not used in
the serials-collection template, this patch removes them from the pl
script.
Tested on top of 15166 15168 15171, full browser reload for date pickers.

To test:
1. On a branch up to date with master: apply the patch.
2. Try to check out items both with and without holds.
(The decreaseLoanHighHolds function should be configured and kick in when testing an item.
3. Expected results are:
The due date date field should be cleared after checkout if "Remember for session"
is not selected. If it is selected then the chosen date should stay in the field even
if the warning about reduced loan time for an item with too many holds is displayed.
Also the correct due dates are shown in the table after a checkout.
Known limitation: Does not work too well when jumping between different parts
of the system as it relies on the values sent to the circulation.pl script.

Fields < 010 were systematically unchecked during target rebuild because
they have no subfields (unchecking manually all subfields of a field

When user check a field or a subfield, we have to uncheck it before

On creating a marc modification template action, the "All" is changed with
"Every" if the condition field is the same as the original field.
But on editing, the "All" value is not replaced. For consistency, it
should.
Test plan:
1/ Create the following action:
Copy field 650$x to 650$y if 650$z matches "foobar"
Note that the "All" is replaced with "Every" when the condition is the
same field as the original field.
2/ Save
3/ Edit the action.
The "Every" should be selected.
Without this patch, "All" is selected.

Fixes the incorrect msg "Please select at least label to delete."
for attempts to delete from single patron batches. Notifies the
user that doing so will delete the batch. It disallows direct
deletion, instead suggests the users to use the 'Delete batch'
option assuming the users know what they are doing.
Test plan
=========
1/ Load a single patron batch in edit mode and attempt to delete
the single record. The JS alert message will inform that "Please
select at least label to delete."
2/ Apply patch and refresh page and try to delete the single record
again.
3/ This time the alert will inform the user that doing so will delete
the batch and should that be desired action to choose the 'Delete
batch' option from the toolbar.

While transferring an order, a untranslatable JavaScript confirmation
dialog pops up.
This patch moves the information about the order to be transferred to the
top of the screen to better inform the user what order is to be transferred,
and simplifies the confirmation dialog.
To test:
- Apply patch
- Transfer an order from a basket to another basket
- Verify, that on top of the screen an information is displayed about which
order from which vendor and basket is to be transferred
- Verify that the transfer works OK
- Update a po lang file and confirm you see the string and you are able
to translate it.

This patch uses the new SUGGEST_FORMAT authorized value list for
populating the list of suggestion item types/document types. It
also improves the display by using the staff or OPAC description of
the authorised value rather than the code.
To test:
[1] Enter a suggestion via the OPAC and select an item type (which
I will call "desired format" for the rest of this test plan).
[2] Verify that the saved suggestion displays the desired format
description in both staff and OPAC.
[3] Verify that organizing the list of suggestions by item type
now works in the staff interface, rather than displaying "Unknown"
in each tab header.
[4] Verify that existing suggestions' desired formats are displayed
correctly.
[5] Verify that suggestions can have their desired format edited
in the staff inteface.

Also fixes minor issue with buttons stacking on patroncards/edit-batch
and labels/label-manage
To test:
Export a batch every way you can:
multiple together from label/label-manage
individual items from labels/label-edit-batch
selected items from labels/label-edit-batch
export full batch from labels/label-edit-batch
multiple together from patroncards/manage
individual cards from patroncards/manage
individual cards from patroncards/edit-batch
selected cards from patroncards/edit-batch
export full batch from patroncards/edit-batch
Also notice that before this patch, the delete and export buttons
were stacking on the table rows, and that now they are not doing
that anymore. It may take a force refresh to see the behaviour and
the change.

Bug 13789 has fixed this issue for the facet links (select/unselect) but
not for the "Show more" facets link.
This patch reuses the "url" variable, generated for the facets, for
these links. A new "local_url" variable is used to build links for each
entry.
Test plan (for OPAC and intranet):
- Search for a very common term
- Filter the results using facets
- You should get more than 5 entries for a facet and 1 selected:
Author
author 1
author 2 [x] # Selected
author 3
author 4
author 5
Show more # you see this link if there is 5+ values for this facet
- Click on the Show more link
Without this patch, the url contains double-encoded characters and you
will certainly don't get any results
With this patch, you should get results.
