Bug 21063: Add ability to show / hide columns
This patch adds the "Column visibility" functionality to the main ILL
request list table.
To test:
- Ensure ILL is enabled and you have some requests
- Apply patch
- From the "Koha administration screen, select "Configure columns"
- In the "Columns settings" page:
=> TEST: Ensure an "Interlibrary loans" category exists
- Upon expanding the category:
=> TEST: Ensure a table is displayed showing columns
=> TEST: Ensure the "action" column has "Cannot be toggled"
pre-selected
=> TEST: Change values for columns and ensure they're saved
- From the main staff menu, select "ILL requests"
- In the table:
=> TEST: Click the "Column visibility" button and ensure a modal
containing all columns (except "Action") is displayed
=> TEST: Select various columns and ensure they are shown and hidden

Bug 21063: (follow-up) Add user ID to column list
As originally specified in bug 20883, there is a requirement for some
users to be able to display the user ID (borrowernumber) in the UI.
This patch adds that ability to this bug, 20883 will be marked as a
duplicate of this one.

Bug 21063: (follow-up) Sanitize datatable data
This mitigates bug 22268 by sanitizing data prior to display using the
built in $.fn.dataTable.render.text() helper provided by Datatables.
The patch was added here, rather that in 22268 since this is the bug
that introduced the problem by increasing the number of fields that are
displayed in the table, some of which could contain user provided
malicious data

Bug 20750: (follow-up) Remove status_alias test
This test is now redundant.
We can't test the return of $req->status_alias against the value of
$req->{status_alias} any more since we've overloaded the status_alias
method and it won't always return the value of the object's property.
We test the functionality of the status_alias method elsewhere so we're
still covered.

This patch allows logging of arbitrary actions on request objects. A
chronological summary of these actions can then be displayed when
viewing a request.
This patch also adds logging of request status changes. Additional work
has been done on the BLDSS backend to log requests to the BLDSS request
status check API.
To test:
- Apply patch
- Ensure the Illlog logging preference is turned on
- Create an ILL request and perform actions on it that change it's
status.
- Navigate to the "Manage ILL request" screen
- Click the "Display request log" button
- Observe that a modal opens displaying a summary of the status changes.

Since this bug now is dependent on Bug 20581, it should be aware of the
custom statuses provided in 20581. This patch enables logging of request
statuses being changed to custom ones. As such the test plan is
modified:
To test:
- Apply patch
- Ensure the Illlog logging preference is turned on
- Ensure you have some custom request statuses defined in the
Authorised Values ILLSTATUS category
- Create an ILL request and perform actions on it that change it's
status.
- Edit the request and change status to a custom one
- Navigate to the "Manage ILL request" screen
- Click the "Display request log" button
- Observe that a modal opens displaying a summary of the status changes.

Due to collation issues, add_tag_approval wrongly calculates
the weight for strings including extended UNICODE characters.
This patch introduces a test for this situation.

Before bug 22031 the haspermission subroutine signature allowed for
passing 'undef' to mean 'any permission' in $flagsrequired. This feels
like a mistake and was only in practical use in two places in the
codebase.
This patch explicitly forbids this practice (`*` may be used to the same
result and is more explicit in it's nature) and replaces the two
instances of it's use.
Test Plan
1. Before this patch, the API tests are all failing with authentication
errors
2. After this patch the API tests should now all pass.
3. t/db_dependent/Auth/haspermission.t should continue to pass (with one
addition subtest added herin)
3. /svc/members/search is not unit tested. Please check that patron
searching still yields results in the UI after this patch.

Deduplicate multivalued fields and make sure sort fields are not excessively long. Also updates default mappings so that sort fields are not created for item fields where it doesn't make sense.
Test plan:
1. Reset ES mappings in administration
2. Check that sort is '0' for local-classification in biblio mappings.
3. Change sort back to '1' for local-classification for the next steps.
4. Create a record with 20 items, each with a 100 character long call number
5. Check that when indexed, the record in ES does not have duplicates in any of the item fields and local-classification__sort is truncated to 255 characters.

This patch adds an SQL::Abstract inspired query syntax to the
haspermission method in C4::Auth. One can now pass Arrayrefs to denote
an OR list of flags, a Hashref to denote a AND list of flags.
Structures can be nested at arbitrary depth.

Some libraries would like to be able to charge a rental fee based on the
number of days an item will be checked out, as opposed to the flat fee
currently offered by Koha.
Test Plan:

3) Edit an itemtype, add a daily rental fee of 1.00
4) Check an item of that itemtype out for 7 days
5) Verify the patron now has rental fee of 7.00

AddIssuing charge is always called in void context, but the tests
checked that the return value was a Koha::Account::Offset and we now
return a Koha::Account::Line.
This patch changes the test to accept a Koha::Account::Line as returned,
adds a test to ensure a Koha::Account::Offset is also created and
corrects the logic that tests that only one accountline is added.

This patch moves the chargelostitem 'branchcode' test to within the
'chargelostitem' subtest block in t/db_dependent/Accounts.t. It also
adds tests for additional accountline fields that should be getting
set by this method and adds tests for ProcessingFeeNote before removing
t/db_dependent/Circulation/Chargelostitem.t which covered this
previously.

Adjust elastic search mappings to more closely match Zebra equivalents
resolving serveral issues with coded Zebra searches in templates and

For no apparent reason a whole lot of data was being deleted inside a
transaction for each of the subtests in Koha/Acquisitions/Booksellers.t
This patch simply remove the deletions. To test, run the test before and
after applying the patch and they should all continue to pass.. If you
have a large number of booksellers, baskets, orders or subscriptions in
your database you may also see an decrease in the time it takes to run
the test.

This patch removes the possibility to access the patron object
identified by patron_id by the patron itself, or a guarantor.
It does so by removing the permissions from the spec. The tests are
adjusted to remove that use case.

With the introduction of the /public namespace all other endpoints, the
rest of the endpoints are restricted to privileged users.
This patch makes the GET /libraries and GET /libraries/:library_id
endpoints require 'catalogue' permissions.

In Ubuntu the message returned is:
An error occurred, mana server returned: Can't connect to foo.bar:443 (Name or service not known)

Adding 13 months is not always the same as adding 1 month and then
adding 12 months in DateTime maths. This patch rectified the test
to match the correct behaviour in koha.
Test plan.
1) Modify the test (around line 268) to test against the suspect
leap date of 2019-01-31 and watch the test fail.
2) Apply the patch (which also adds this modification to test
for such a leap date) and watch the test now pass.

Adding few tests to Koha/Object.t in order to highlight what we are
trying to fix.
Note that Koha::ItemType->store was wrong for notforloan, the default
value should be null
`notforloan` smallint(6) DEFAULT NULL,
but the previous fix (bug 21599) made it default to '0'

It would be very convenient to be able to retrieve a bib's attached metadata objects directly from the biblio object. This would be very useful for Template Toolkit syntax in slips and notices where a library would like to use arbitrary metadata fields that aren't stored in the database.

This patch makes the code using Koha::Biblio::Metadata->marcflavour use
->schema instead for all interactions.
To test:
- Update the DB structure:

- Update the schema files:

- Notice all the places in which biblio_metadata is used
$ cd kohaclone
$ git grep biblio_metadata
=> SUCCESS: They all use `schema` instead of marcflavour

Note: while this seems like a minor change, the places in which plain
SQL is used really require understanding the queries and how they are

This patch adds a check in Koha::REST::V1::Auth::under to catch all
routes that begin with 'public' (inside /api/v1). If they match, and the
RESTPublicAPI syspref is off, then an exception is thrown, rendering a
403 error to the consumer.
Otherwise the routes are processed as usual. This is THE on/off switch
for the public REST API. The target use case: people not wanting an OPAC
or public interaction with the API besides privileged users.
In order to test, the rest of the patches are needed because the only
way to test a route is having it in the spec.

patron's password.

"NotHoldable" code is the reserve is impossible. We need to know why

This patch adds a new system preference (FallbackToSMSIfNoEmail)
which if enabled Koha will send suggestion notices by SMS if a borrower
has a defined SMSalertnumber and no email.
The use of the syspref prevents automatic fallback to sending suggestion notices as SMS when there's no defined email.
Test plan:
1. Chose a patron who has no email address set, but does have a
smsalertnumber set (this value is set in the Patron messaging
preferences section after the SMSSendDriver syspref is set)
2. Log into the OPAC with that user and submit a suggestion
3. In the staff client go to Acquisitions->Suggestions and tick the
suggestion and set its status to 'Accepted'
4. In the database query the message_queue and notice the
message_transport_type of the message is set to 'email' even though the
patron has no email address set.
5. Apply patches, restart memcached and plack
6. Check the 'FallbackToSMSIfNoEmail' syspref
is disabled
7. Repeat steps 2,3 and observe in the message_queue
table the message_transport_type = 'email'
i.e. If the syspref is disabled then the message is still sent by email
to borrowers with defined smsalertnumber and no email address
8. Enable the 'FallbackToSMSIfNoEmail' syspref
and repeat steps 2,3 and notice the
message_transport_type = 'sms'
i.e. If the syspref is enabled then the message is sent by sms to
borrowers with defined smsalertnumber and no email address
9. Repeat steps 2,3 with a patron with an email
address and no smsalertnumber trying with the 'FallbackToSMSIfNoEmail' syspref
enabled and disabled and notice in both cases the
message_transport_type = email.
i.e. If a borrower has an email address defined the suggestion
notice will always be sent via email
10. Repeat steps 2,3 with a patron with no email or smsalertnumber trying with the 'FallbackToSMSIfNoEmail' syspref enabled and disabled and notice in both cases the message_transport_type = email
i.e. If the borrower has no smsalertnumber and no email defined then the
suggestion notice will be sent by 'email'

This patch changes the params accepted by
C4::Circulation::MarkIssueReturned by removing the $dropbox_branch
param.
This passed branchcode was only used to initialize the Koha::Calendar
object, but the date arithmetic has already taken place in a couple
places before we reach this point. This logic needs to be simplified
(bug 14591), and this is the starting point.

This patch adds $branchcode_to parameter to CanBookBeReserved and
CanItemBeReserved. It represents the pickup location for the hold. This patch
checks if the library is configured to be a pickup location (see Bug 7534), and
also if the item can be transferred into the given library (see Bug 18072).

This patch adds a new method, Koha::Libraries->pickup_locations. This method
takes either an item or a biblio as a parameter, and returns the list of
acceptable pickup locations by considering libraries' configuration to act
as a pickup location as well as any branch transfer limits that may apply.

- On (report > use saved), there must be a message inviting you to search on Mana-KB for more results, enter a few word from title, notes, type of the report you shared, it should appear. You can use it, it will load it into your report list.
7 - Report mistakes.
- On any table containing Mana-KB search results, you can report a mistake and add a comment.
8 - For each previous test, try to send wrong data, to delete the security token, to send nothing: it should show a correct warning message.

This patch introduces tests for the behaviour when the negative adjust
exceedes the amount that was already paid. In this case, the line amount
is expected to be set to 0, and a credit with the payed amount created.

The authenticate_api_request() behaviour needs more tests. This patch
adds tests for the stashed Koha::Patron object. It highlights the bug in
the OAuth authentication case.

This patch adds tests for Koha::Account->pay, to make sure the
library_id param is used to set the branchcode attribute. The use of
userenv to set branchcode if library_id not passed is removed.
Responsability is left to the callers to pass library_id.

For the purposes of statistics, it appears that it would help many
libraries to have branchcode recorded in the accountlines table. For
payments, the field would contain the code for the branch the payment
was made at. For manual invoices, it would be the code of the library
that created the invoice.
Test Plan:

2) Create and pay some fees
3) Note the branchcode for those fees and payments is set
to your logged in branch

This patch introduces regression tests for the behaviour to be

This is an alternative to bug 21732 as transfers are automatically cancelled on marking an item lost, and the items holding rbanch is set to the transfers source ('from') branch.
When an item is marked as lost, the routine should also clean up any
outstanding transfers.
Also added tests to t/db_dependent/Circulation.t which check:
* If transfer is automatically deleted when item is marked as lost
* If the items holdingbranch automatically changes when item with
transfers on it is marked as lost.
Test plan:
1. Find a item which is in transfer, i.e. find an item with the text in
the 'Status' field of the table in detail.pl that indicates it is in
transfer
2. Set the item to 'Lost' either by clicking on Edit->Edit items from
the detail.pl page
OR
clicking on the Items tab on the left side of the detail.pl page
3. Notice that the transfer is now cancelled for the item and the items
holdingbranch is the transfers source ('from') branch
4. Run t/db_dependent/Circulation.t

methods so they don't pick wrong lines when amountoutstanding matches
what we are looking for (i.e. negative for credits and positive for
debits).

This patch tests for a new behaviour in the _FixAccountForLostAndFound
method.
The method will now add the amountoutstanding value for the lost item
fee to the CR credit to be generated. This means that:
- If there's some remaining debt, the same amount will be added to the
CR credit and used to cancel that debt. The final amountoutstanding
will be the same as before, but an offset will be generated as
required.
- If the line was written off, the behaviour remains unchanged, so no
offset.
- If the line was payed and/or written off in full only the payments are
refund, preserving the current behaviour.
Only changes to the 'remaining debt' use cases on this tests are
expected.

A short dicussion lead to the decision to make it explictly clear that
this method will implicitly apply credits against debits in a 'First In
First Out' manor, meaning oldest outstanding debits will be paid off
first.

The string extraction process was not taking into account the fact that
standard/package install have a completely different directory structure
than the dev install
This patch tries to keep the exact same behaviour for dev installs,
while making it work for standard install by using opachtdocs,

Bug 10306 changed behavior on cloning item subfields by no longer splitting
constructions like 'A | B' in item fields like ccode.
If it is really recommended to clone item subfields, I am not so sure
about. But this patch at least restores the possibility to do so while
we discuss if we should ;)

This patch removes this file. The included tests are similar to those in
the db_dependent section, with the difference that this have some things
mocked. But the tests still require name resolution and connecting to
the RB servers. This situation breaks package building without any
noticeable gain.
The feature could be better tested by mocking WebService::ILS calls (so
no external world contact), but it belongs to a separate bug report.

This tests pass on the build step only because they are skipped, due to
the absense of Test::DBIx::Class library.
It makes sense for them to be in the db_dependent directory, as they are
not completely mocked (re: external world interactions).

Implement optimized indexing for Elasticsearch
How to test:
1) Time a full elasticsearch re-index without this patch by running the
rebuild_elastic_search.pl with the -d flag:
`koha-shell <instance_name> -c "time rebuild_elastic_search.pl -d"`.
2) Apply this patch.
3) Time a full re-index again, it should be about twice at fast (for a
couple of thousand biblios, with fewer biblios results may be more
unpredictable).

This patch adds tests for:
- Output of ImportFramework on fields removal and error conditions (file
not found)
- Different file format behaviour (csv, xml and ods are tested).

Note: the biblio_framework* files are based on the original one on the

Currently the call number splitting seems to be mostly implemented for
DDC and LC classifications.
Those are both not very common in some countries.
A lot of libraries use their own custom classification schemes so the call number
plitting is something that should be individually configurable.
This enhancement adds the ability to define custom splitting rules based
on regular expressions.
How does it work so far?
From C4/Labels/Label.pm there are 3 differents splitting methods defined, depending on items.cn_source.
if cn_source is "lcc' or 'nlm' we split using Library::CallNumber::LC
if cn_source is 'ddc' we split using a in-house method
Finally there is a fallback method to split on space
And nothing else is done for other cn_source
The idea of this patch is to mimick what was done for the "filing rules" and add
the ability to define "splitting rules" that will be used by the "Classification sources".
A classification source will then have:
* a filing rule used to sort items by callnumbers
* a splitting rule used to print labels
To acchieve this goal this enhancement will do the following
modifications at DB level:
* New table class_split_rules
* New column class_sources.class_split_rule
Test plan:
* Execute the update database entry to create the new table and
column.
I. UI Changes
a) Create/modify/delete a filing rule
b) Create/modify/delete a splitting rule
c) Create/modify/delete a classification source
=> A filing rule or splitting rule cannot be removed if used by a
classification source
II. Splitting rule using regular expressions
a) Create a splitting rule using the "Splitting routine" "RegEx"
b) Define several regular expressions, they will be applied one after
the other in the same order you define them.
Something like:
s/\s/\n/g # Break on spaces
s/(\s?=)/\n=/g # Break on = (unless it's done already)
s/^(J|K)\n/$1 / # Remove the first break if callnumber starts with J or K
c) You can test the regular expressions using filling the textarea with
a list of callnumbers. Then click "Test" and confirm the callnumbers are
split how you expected.
d) Finally create a new classification source that will use this new
splitting rule.
III. Print the label!
a) Create a layout. It should have the "Split call numbers" checkbox
ticked, and display itemcallnumber
b) Use this layout to export labels, use items with different
classification source ('lcc', 'ddc', but also the new one you have
create)
=> The callnumbers should have been split according to the regex you
defined earlier!
Notes:
* The update database entry fill the class_sources.class_split_rule
with the value of class_sources.class_sort_rule
If default rules exist it will not work, we should add a note in the
release notes (would be enough?)
* C4::ClassSplitRoutine::* should be moved to Koha::ClassSplitRule,
but it sounded better to keep the same pattern as ClassSortRoutines
* Should not we use a LONGTEXT for class_split_rules.split_regex instead
of VARCHAR(255)?
* class_sources.sql should be filled for other languages before pushed
to master!
IMPORTANT NOTES: The regular expressions are stored as it, and eval is
used to evaluate it (perlcritic raises a warning about it (Expression
form of "eval"). It can lead to serious security issues (execution of
arbitrary code on the server), especially if the modifier 'e' is used.
We could then remedy the situation with one of these following points:
- Assume that this DB data is safe (We can add a new permission?)
- Assume that the data is not safe and deal with possible attack
Cons: how be sure we are exhaustive? Making sure it matches ^s///[^e/]*$
would be enough?
- Use Template Toolkit syntax instead (Really safer?)
[% callnumber.replace('\s', '\n').replace ... %]
- Cut the regex parts: find, replace, modifiers
like we already do for Marc modification template. Cons: we are going to
have escape problems, the "find" and "replace" parts should not be
handle the same way (think "\n", "\\n", "\1", "\s", etc.)
I did not manage to implement this one easily.

No assumption on the order in which restults are returned should be made
(we don't control existing data on the tests). So it should only check
existence of expected records in the results, and absense.

This patch allows to update borrowers informations with Shibboleth attributes
upon login.
Test plan:
1. In $KOHA_CONF, check that //shibboleth/sync is set to 1
2. Find an existing user and change one of the values mapped with a Shibboleth attribute
3. Log in using Shibboleth
4. Check that the value has been updated with the Shibboleth attribute.

It is not totally happy because of the template file used in tests.
It has line breaks inside TT directives and QA test script complains
because line breaks in TT directives confuse the current translatable
strings extractor.
However this patchset (along with bug 20988) will hopefully make the
current extractor obsolete and thus make the 'no-line-breaks' rule
useless

Because LangInstaller use FindBin to define some paths, the test
produces warnings about a missing directory. I'm not sure how we can
avoid that.
