5b1934312b Bug 24786: Allow setting a register for the session
This patch adds the ability to set a register for the current session
from the 'set library' page.

Upon entering the page, the current selection will be displayed.
Changing the branch will trigger the register select list to update to
display only those registers associated with the updated branch and will
automatically select either 'no register' or the 'branch default'
register. The user can then override that selection to choose a
different register for the session.

Test plan
1/ Enable cash registers with the 'UseCashRegisters' system preference
2/ Select the 'Set library' option from the top right menu
3/ Note that you can now select a cash register from the subsequent page
4/ Change the branch and note that the cash register selection is
updated to reflect the change
5/ Note that the 'branch default' register is auto-selected upon branch
selection if one has been defined, otherwise '-- None --' is selected
6/ You can then alter the selection before submitting the form
7/ Once submitted note that you are returned to the page you were on
prior to attempting to change the library and register
8/ Note the present of the register name next to the library name at the
top of the screen.
9/ Signoff

97b9eab178 Bug 20804: Add support for "days" to the timeout syspref
If the timeout syspref did not contain an integer, or was not matching
integer.'d|D', then it "fallback" to 0

We can easily add support for hours and fallback to 600 if the value is
not correct.
It will prevent the session to timeout immediately

Test plan:
0. Do not apply the patches
1. Fill the timeout syspref with "5h"
2. Login
3. Click somewhere
=> Notice that the session timed out
4. Apply the patches, restart_all
5. Login
6. Click somewhere
=> You have 5 hours to enjoy Koha
7. Fill the pref with an incorrect value ("5x" for instance)
8. Logout, login
9. There is a warning in the log, and you have 10 minutes (600 secondes) to enjoy Koha

b827acf53f Bug 26191: Relocate track_login call in Auth.pm
This is a leftover from bug 22543.
Trivial move.

Test plan:
Do not apply this patch.
Pick a user that has not yet logged in today.
Only login via the opac and immediately check if borrowers.datelastseen did not change.
Apply this patch, restart, flush etc.
Only login via the opac and verify again rightaway (no further opac actions).
Now datelastseen should have been changed already.

4b9475346e Bug 24663: Test OpacPublic for all OPAC scripts
Prior to this patchset there were 3 different calls to
get_template_and_user (or checkauth) with the authnotrequired param:
 * authnotrequired => 0
 * authnotrequired => 1
 * authnotrequired => ( C4::Context->preference("OpacPublic") ? 1 : 0 )

The first one says that an unauthenticated user can access the page, the
second that the user has to be authenticated, and the last one that it
depends on the OpacPublic syspref.
Actually we must replace the first one with the third one, if the OPAC
is not public, the authentication must be forced.

To do so we are going to remove the "authnotrequired => 0" occurrences,
and check the OpacPublic syspref's value in C4::Auth

c9eb2be381 Bug 23795: Convert opaccredits system preference to news block
This patch builds on Bug 22318 to move the opaccredits system
preference into the Koha news system, making it possible to have
language- and library-specific content.

To test you should have some content in the opaccredits system
preference. Apply the patch and run the database update process.

 - Go to the OPAC and confirm that the content which was previously in
the opaccredits system preference now displays correctly where
   it was before.
 - In the staff client, go to Tools -> News and verify that the content
from opaccredits is now stored in news items. There should be

cbd8655157 Bug 25765: Replace LoginBranchname and LoginBranchcode with use of Branches template plugin

Bug 20415: Remove UseKohaPlugins system preference
Owen Leonard 2018-03-16 10:47:47 UTC :
<<
I don't think the system preference adds any security. There are already multiple permissions required for working with plugins:

- Configure plugins
- Manage plugins ( install / uninstall )
- Use report plugins
- Use tool plugins

And even with those permissions your server must be configured to allow the use of plugins.

Bug 22943: Renames the in_ipset function to in_iprange in C4::Auth
Bug 14407 introduced a new system preference to allow limiting the
online self checkout system to an IP or IP Range. The function that
handles this is called in_ipset, which is the name of a linux tool. To
stop confusion, this patch renames the function to 'in_iprange', and the
variable 'ipset' within it to 'iprange'.

To test, follow the test plans outlined in Bug 14407 and confirm that
everything works as expected.

Bug 17845: Remove unused code related to printers
There is some quite old and unused code in Koha related
to printer configuration and network printing. These code
hasn't been functional in a long time and should be removed.

This patch:

- Removes printcirculationslips system preference
- Removes table printers
- Removes branchprinter column from branches

Check that:
- Go to administration
- Open any age there, but change the last bit to: printers.pl
- Apply patch, run the database update
- Verify the hidden page no longer exists
- Verify that logging in and out still works correctly
- Verify that checkout and returns work correctly

- Log in to the OPAC, you are taken to /cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl
- Log out, you are taken to /cgi-bin/koha/opac-main.pl?logout.x=1
- Click back, you are taken to /cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl
- No matter how many times you reload /cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl,
you should not see anything other than the login form.
- Check that Self Check Out still works as it should, by making
sure you have a user with self_check permissions, then setting

Bug 23068: Add ability for Koha to handle X-Forwarded-For headers so REMOTE_ADDR features work behind a proxy
Koha has a number of features that rely on knowing the IP address of the connecting client. If that server is behind a proxy these features do not work.
This patch adds a module to automatically convert the X-Forwarded-For header into the REMOTE_ADDR environment variable for both CGI and Plack processes.

TEST PLAN:
1) Apply this patch set
2) Install Plack::Middleware::RealIP via cpanm or your favorite utility
3) Update your plack.psgi with the changes you find in this patch set ( this process differs based on your testing environment )
4) Restart plack
5) Tail the plack error log for your instance
6) Use curl to access the OPAC, adding an X-Forwarded-For header: curl --header "X-Forwarded-For: 32.32.32.32" http://127.0.0.1:8080
7) Note the logs output this address if you are unproxied
8) If you are proxied, restart plack using a command like below, where the ip you see in the logs ("REAL IP) is what you put in the koha conf:
    <koha_trusted_proxies>172.22.0.1 1.1.1.1</koha_trusted_proxies>
9) Restart all the things!
10) Repeat step 6
11) You should now see "REAL IP: 32.32.32.32" in the plack logs as the remote address in your plack-error.log logs!
12) Disable plack so you are running in cgi mode, repeat step 6 again
13) You should see "REAL IP: 32.32.32.32" as the remove address in your opac-error.log logs!

Bug 22929: Allow SCI/SCO logins independent of GDPR_Policy
This patch makes Auth skip the GDPR policy check when get_template_and_user
is called for sci/sco (self checkin, checkout).
I do not really like the change in this form but the nature of self checkin
and checkout kind of dictate it (double hack).
I wanted to add a test but since that asks for mocking CGI, checkauth, etc.
the time needed for that is just too much for this simple change.

Bug 23253: Fix OpacNavRight for self reg by email
The code expects to display OpacNavRight content at the bottom of the
login form when a user just registered.

Test plan:
- Turn PatronSelfRegistrationVerifyByEmail on
- Register a patron
- Confirm by clicking on the link you received by email (or see the

Bug 23078: (follow-up) Update self checkout help page
This patch takes care of some preference instances I missed in the self
checkout module's help page. It also removes some obsolete lines from
Auth.pm.

To test, apply the patch and re-test based on the previous test plan.
Also test in the self-checkout module by logging into self checkout and
clicking the "Help" link in the upper right of the screen.

Bug 23078: Use Koha.Preference in OPAC global header include
This patch updates the OPAC's doc-head-close.inc so that it uses
'Koha.Preference' syntax to output system preference data. The patch
removes handling of two preferences from Auth.pm which which are covered
by this template change.

This patch also makes some minor changes to consolidate multiple
template checks for "bidi"

To test, apply the patch and test the affected OPAC system preferences:

 - OpacFavicon
 - opaclayoutstylesheet
 - OPACUserCSS
 - OPACBaseURL

Confirm that changes made to these preferences are reflected in the
OPAC.

71f17b35ee Bug 21336: Do not increase login_attempts after locking
If an account has been locked, there is no use to keep increasing this
number. It is not true too; after the pref number has been reached,
we can not really speak of login attempts anymore. The credentials are
just ignored.

Adding a dbrev to put existing values in line. And a simple test in
Auth.t to confirm that login_attempts stop increasing.

Note: It feels safe to keep the '>=' condition in account_locked. But it
could obviously be changed to '=='. (Added a test for that.)

Note: Adding a mock_preference in Auth.t too for GDPR_Policy. Since not all
tests will pass when the pref is enabled (though disabled by default).

cc67ff26aa Bug 22483: Explicitly ban 'undef' as a valid $flagsrequired
Before bug 22031 the haspermission subroutine signature allowed for
passing 'undef' to mean 'any permission' in $flagsrequired. This feels
like a mistake and was only in practical use in two places in the
codebase.

This patch explicitly forbids this practice (`*` may be used to the same
result and is more explicit in it's nature) and replaces the two
instances of it's use.

4febf0656c Bug 17776: (QA follow-up) Remove shibboleth package variables
This is about $shib and $shib_login.
We move in the right direction by calling get_login_shib in
get_template_and_user and checkauth. In the same line we can do the
shib_ok check at that time (just checking cached values). This paves
the way for the third subroutine using the two package vars: checkpw.
Note that checkpw is also called outside Auth.pm. So I would be more
comfortable if we do the same calls like in checkauth and remove both
variables from the package level (especially under Plack of course).

The former changes actually justify a 'use C4::Auth_with_shibboleth'
instead of the current require and import.

Note: When calling checkpw from checkauth, we are calling get_login_shib
twice now. But the time involved for doing so is around zero (cache), so
not really an argument for extra parameters and complexer code.

331af8521b Bug 13779: sessionID declared twice in C4::Auth::checkauth()
The bug is that $sessionID is declared twice in C4::Auth::checkauth().
At the moment, this doesn't actually create a problem, because no
one seems to be using the $sessionID which is returned by checkauth(),
except in the case of opac/external/overdrive/auth.pl which skips
the second declartion as it doesn't require auth.

This patch removes the redefining of the $sessionID variable.

In terms of testing, try logging in with a username and password
and see if it works. The only risk this patch would pose is breaking
auth I would think, since nothing is actually using the return value
from checkauth() for $sessionID.

NOTE:
It was initially defined near the top of the function (~line 791).
I believe the scoping would mean the correct version of $sessionID
would be used in the latter lines for the unset'ing.
I have skimmed code to see if the sessionID return value is used.
I did not test overdrive, as I do not know how. However, this is
the only area, I think this could possibly break. This change makes
sense to me.

QA: Please test overdrive.
opac/external/overdrive/auth.pl only checks if the value is set, so
this patch might fix/break something there?
opac/svc/overdrive same kind of check.

This is a (tiny) code improvement. Now we consistently return the session
id that is also stored in the returned cookie. (Which can be an 'anon'
session.)
Fact is that Koha almost everywhere ignores the returned session id and
sometimes gets the session from the cookie (obviously). The session id is
also passed to the template by get_template_and_user but never used in
templates.
As mentioned, the two overdrive scripts are the exception. But since both
test on both $user && $sessionID, they will not choke on an anynonomous
session id without userid. So theoretically fine, but not tested.

be691d86e3 Bug 21096: Do not display loggedinusername in template
This patch is a little fix for a much bigger hidden issues.

The original issue:
1. Set the firstname and surname values of a paontr to utf-8 characters
("wide characters"), for instance 月月
2. Use this patron to login at the staff interface
=> In the header the logged in patron's info (concat of firstname and
surname) are displayed correctly
3. Hit whatever link
=> In the header the info are now displayed incorrectly
("ææ")

What happens?
After that the user loggin, loggedinusername is set with the value from
the DB (borrowers.userid)
On next hits it is picked from the session (which contains the decoded
utf8 value, see first lines of C4::Context->set_userenv)
From C4::Auth::checkauth:
834             $s_userid = $session->param('id') // ''

The quick fix is to use the logged_in_user variable in the template, but
it seems that issues may occurred if external authentication is used
(ldap, shib, cas). Could someone test this?

Test plan:
Make sure the original issue is fixed

9af0b9de7d Bug 20400: Add routing list tab in OPAC
This patch adds the base for the new feature:
Show a list of the serial titles a patron is on routing
lists for in the OPAC.

Test plan applies to the complete patch set:

To test:
- Apply all patches
- Make sure RoutingSerials is not activated
- Check patron account in OPAC - no tab should appear
- Activate RoutingSerials
- Create subscriptions and different routing lists, test with:
  - Patron with no routing list entries = no tab

Bug 20400: Display new tab in OPAC only for patrons with routing lists

The visibility of the routing list tab in the OPAC depends
on the system preference RoutingSerials and the existence
of routing list entries for the patron.

Some libraries only offer routing lists to certain user groups and
would not want it generally visible. As there are currently no
actions you can perform from the list, this appears to be a
reasonable behaviour.

b03ce512c4 Bug 20480: Make KOHA_VERSION available to all templates in all circumstances
This patch makes C4::Templates::gettemplate set the KOHA_VERSION param
for the template. This way this template parameter, which is required by
(probably) all pages that include CSS/JS content is available in all
circumstances.

A noticeable problem with the current approach is when using the SCO and
SCI modules with wrong/forbidden users: C4::Auth short-circuits and
redirects to the login page, without setting the KOHA_VERSION param.
This patch solves it for good.

This bug implements this

You will need a CAS server (with single logout configure),
and at least 2 applications (one being Koha)

2/ Login to the other application via CAS
3/ Logout of the other application
4/ Notice you are still logged into Koha
5/ Log out of Koha
6/ Apply patch
7/ Login to Koha via CAS, login to other app via CAS
8/ Log out of other app

8c510e1a92 Bug 17989: Include full path logic in _get_template_file
Similar to the full path test in sub themelanguage, this patch makes a
change in _get_template_file. This allows you to pass a template
outside the modules directory to get_template_and_user. (Note: the sub
badtemplatecheck already blocks bad paths.)

Especially, this would be helpful for plugins using templates. As can be
seen in Templates.pm, a change was made earlier to overwrite the filename
for a plugin in sub gettemplate. This exception can now be removed.

Also note the small change in Koha/Plugin/Base.pm; mbf_path is already
absolute and if we pass a full path, we do not need it. This allows use of
a regular Koha template or a shared template between plugins (as long as
badtemplatecheck allows the path).

What are the side-effects of this change?
[1] We should not pass absolute paths if we mean relative ones.
A follow-up patch deals with one occurrence in the codebase.
    No regressions for regular use.
[2] Plugins can call get_template_and_user directly or go via get_template
in Koha/Plugin/Base (absolute paths don't go via mbf_path).

Note: replaced two single quotes in Auth.pm to show template name in test
description.

Test plan:
[1] Open some page on OPAC or staff client to trigger a template.
[2] Run t/db_dependent/Auth.t to verify not allowing some bad templates.
[3] Run t/db_dependent/Templates.t to verify an absolute path.
[4] Run t/db_dependent/Plugins.t to verify using templates in a plugin.

d852b33266 Bug 18880: Fix authentication fallback for external authentications
A regression in commit cfc484b17 / bug #18314 breaks the local
authentication fallback for all external authentications like LDAP, CAS
and Shibboleth.

The regression itself is a logical error as "@return = (0)" is
considered to be "false" when checked with "unless" (line 1814). That's
wrong as "unless" tests the number of elements in a list.

This patch tries to simplify the logic by adding a $passwd_ok and
$check_internal_as_fallback flags to be more verbose and hopefully more
understandable.
The goal here is simply to restore back the same logic as before cfc484b17

cfc484b173 Bug 18314: Account lockout
To prevent brute force attacks on Koha accounts, staff and opac, we need to
implement an account lockout process to Koha.

After a number of failed login attempts a users account would become locked.
The user would then need to use the reset password functionality to send a reset
token to their email account. After a successful password reset the lockout flag
would be removed.

The number of failed login attempts before lockout is configurable using a new
system preference 'FailedLoginAttempts'.

How does it work?
When a patron enter an invalid password, the borrowers.login_attempts value
for this patron is incremented. When this value reach the value of the
pref FailedLoginAttempts, the password comparison is not done and the
authentication is rejected.
This login_attempts field is reset when a patron correctly logs in. When
the account is locked the patron has to reset his/her password using
the OpacResetPassword feature or ask a staff member to generate a new
password.
If the pref is not set (0, or '') the feature is considered as disabled,
but the failed login attempts are stored anyway.

Test plan:
0/ Apply patch and execute the update DB entry
1/ Switch on the feature by setting FailedLoginAttempts to 3
2/ Use an invalid password to login at the staff or OPAC interface
3/ After the third consecutive failures, you will be asked to reset your
password if OpacResetPassword is set, or contact a staff member
4/ Switch on OpacResetPassword and reset your password
5/ Confirm that you are able to login
6/ Play with the different combinations

e55b38928a Bug 17486: Remove Mozilla Persona
Persona never really took off, and although many browsers currently
support it, very few services actually implement it.

This has lead to it's founders, Mozilla, to end the project. In their
own words:

Persona is no longer actively developed by Mozilla. Mozilla has
committed to operational and security support of the persona.org
services until November 30th, 2016.

On November 30th, 2016, Mozilla will shut down the persona.org services.
Persona.org and related domains will be taken offline.

If you run a website that relies on Persona, you need to implement an
alternative login solution for your users before this date.

In order to add the ability to delete patrons who have been inactive for

[1] Acquisition.pm
The lines filling $row in GetBasketGroupAsCSV may have side-effects when

theoretically more safe.

Should normally be fine, but I rather have an empty string here than

Note that this holds for a larger number of calls, but I am adding a check
here because it is checkauth.

19a977dc7b Bug 15758: Koha::Libraries - Remove GetBranchName
This is the fourth and last patch set to remove C4::Branch.
The real purpose of this patch is to standardise and refactor some code
which is related to the libraries selection/display.
Its unconfessed purpose is to remove the C4::Branch package.

Before this patch set, only 6 subroutines still existed in the C4::Branch
package:
- GetBranchName
- GetBranchesLoop
- mybranch
- onlymine
- GetBranches
- GetBranch

GetBranchName basically returns the branchname for a given branchcode.
The branchname is only used for a display purpose and we don't need to
retrieve it in package or pl scripts (unless for a few exceptions).
We have a `Branches` template plugin with a `GetName` method which does
exactly this job.
To achieve this removal, we will use this template plugin and delete the
GetBranchName from pl and pm files.
The `Branches.all()` will now select the library of the logged in user
if no `selected` parameter has been passed.
This new behavior could cause regressions, for instance there are some
places where we do not want an option preselected (batch item
modification for instance), keep that in mind when testing.

GetBranchesLoop took 3 parameters: $branch and $onlymine.
The first one was used to set a "selected" flag, for a display purpose:
select an option in the libraries dropdown lists.
The second one was useless: If not passed or set to 0, the
`C4::Branch::onlymine` subroutine was called.
This onlymine flag was use to know if the logged in user was able to see
other libraries infos.
A patron can see the infos from other libraries if IndependentBranches
is not set OR if he has the superlibrarian permission.
Prior to this patch set, the "onlymine test" was done on different
places (neworderempty.pl, additem.pl, holidays.pl, etc.), including the
Branches TT plugin. In this patch set, this test is only done on one
place (C4::Context::only_my_library, code moved from
C4::Branch::onlymine).
To accomplish the same job as this subroutine, we just need to call the
`Branches.all()` method from the `Branches` TT plugin. It already
accepts a `selected` parameter to set a flag on the option to select.
To avoid the repetitive
  [% IF selected %]<option selected="selected">[% ELSE %]<option>[% END %]
pattern, a new `html_helpers` TT include file has been created, it
defines an `options_for_libraries` block, which takes a `selected`
parameter. We could imagine to use this include file for other
selects.

The 'mybranch` and `onlymine` subroutines of the C4::Branch package have
been moved to C4::Context. onlymine has been renamed with
only_my_library. There are only 4 occurrences of it, against 11 before
this patch set.
There 2 subroutines are Context-centric and it makes sense to put them
in `C4::Context` (at least it's the least worst place!)

GetBranches is the tricky part of this patch set: It retrieves all the
libraries, independently of the value of IndependentBranches.
To keep the same way as the existing calls of `Branches.all()`, I have
added a `unfiltered` parameter. If set, the `Branches.all()` will call
a usual Koha::Libraries->search method, otherwise
Koha::Libraries->search_filtered will be called. This new method will
check if the logged in user is allowed to see other libraries or only
its library.
Note that this `GetBranches` subroutine also created a `category` key:
it allowed to get the list of groups (of libraries) where this library
existed. Thanks to a previous patch set (bug 15295), this value was
not used anymore (I may have missed something!).

Note that the only use of `GetBranch` was buggy (see bug 15746).

Test plan (for the whole patch set):
The best way to test this whole patch set is to test with 2 instances: 1
with the patch set applied, 1 using master, to be sure there is no
regression.
It would be good to test the same with `IndependentBranches` and the
without `IndependentBranches`.
No difference should be found.
The tester must focus on the library dropdowns on as many forms as
possible.
You will notice changes in the order of the options: the libraries will
now be ordered by branchname (instead of branchcode in some places).
A special attention will be given to the following page:
- acqui/neworderempty.pl
- catalogue/search.pl
- members/members-home.pl (header?)
- opac/opac-topissues.pl
- tools/holidays.pl
- admin/branch_transfer_limits.pl
- admin/item_circulation_alerts.pl
- rotating_collections/transferCollection.pl
- suggestion/suggestion.pl
- tools/export.pl

Notes for QA:
- There are 2 FIXMEs in the patch set, I have kept the existing behavior,
but I am not sure it's the good one. Feel free to open a bug report and
I will fill a patch if you think it's not correct. Otherwise, remove the
FIXME lines in a follow-up patch.
- The whole patch set is huge and makes a lot of changes.
But it finally will tremendously reduce the number of lines:
716 insertions for 1910 deletions

90307bcbfa Bug 16492 - Checkouts ( and possibly checkins and other actions ) will use the patron home branch as the logged in library
Bug 14507 introduced the use of checkpw in C4::SIP::ILS::Patron so that
non-Koha internal authentication processes would be able to function via
SIP ( LDAP et al ).

The problem is that checkpw changes the userenv to that of the patron!
This is not usually an issue in Koha because most of the time that
patron running through checkpw is the one to be logged in.

Aside from SIP2 the only other area where this may be an issue is in SCO
when using SelfCheckoutByLogin.

Test Plan:
1) On master, check out an item to a patron via SIP2
2) Note the checkout lists the item as having been checked out
from the patron's home library not matter which library is was
supposed to be checked out from.
3) Apply this patch

bc707baf02 Bug 15816: Redirect back to correct page after login
This uses a hacky but simple method to get the correct script name under
proxied packaged Plack.

Test plan:
  1) Log out of both the OPAC and staff side.
  2) Try to access a page that requires login (opac-reserve.pl is a
good one for the OPAC), then log in.
  3) You will be redirected back to mainpage.pl or opac-user.pl.
  4) Repeat above for both staff side and OPAC.
  5) Apply patch.
  6) Repeat steps 1-4; you should be redirected back to the original
     page you were on.
  7) Repeat the above for both a traditional CGI and kohadevbox/package
     Plack installation.

85e7d186ec Bug 16167: Remove Authorised value images prefs
There are 2 prefs to drive this feature: StaffAuthorisedValueImages and
AuthorisedValueImages. AuthorisedValueImages is not added by
sysprefs.sql and does not appear in updatedatabase.pl, we could easily
imagine that nobody uses it.

With XSLT enabled, the feature is only visible on a record detail page
at the OPAC, if AuthorisedValueImages is set. Otherwise you need to turn
the XSLT off. In this case you will see the images on the result list
(OPAC+Staff interfaces) and OPAC detail page, but not the Staff detail
page.

This patch suggests to remove completely this feature as it does not
work correctly.

The ability to assign an image to an authorised value is now always
displayed, but the image will only be displayed on the advanced search
if defined.

Test plan:
Confirm that the authorised value images are no longer visible at the
opac and the staff interfaces.
The prefs should have been removed too.

e476be5568 Bug 12663 - SCOUserCSS and SCOUserJS ignored on selfcheck login page
Currently if not logged in when browsing to
http://YOURCATALOG/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl
You are redirected to opac-auth.tt and SCOUserCSS and SCOUserJS are not
loaded. This page passes through a parameter to the template to indicate
this is an SCO login and appropriate CSS and JS should be loaded.

Additionally this patch ensure that when loggin in using the form you
are redirected to the sco-main.pl instead of the patron account page for
the user.

To test:
1 - Verify that normal login works on both staff and opac
2 - Verify that SCO link goes to login page if AutoSelfCheckAllowed is
set to "Don't allow"
3 - Enter changes into SCOUserJS and SCOUserCSS and observe these are
present on SCO log in page with AutoSelfCheck disabled
4 - Verify that a logged in opac user without permissions cannot access
the self-checkout module
5 - Verify that AutoSelfCheckAllowed and associated system preferences
function as expected
6 - Verify the AutoSelfCheck user is logged out if they attempt to visit
another page

Followed test plan.
If I go to http://YOURCATALOG/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl, CSS and JS trigger already on
the login form, I suppose that is intended.

8627ec5f6a Bug 4941: Remove the singleBranchMode system preference
The singleBranchMode system preference does not make sense.
Either the install has only 1 library defined or several. In both case,
we can easily guess the behavior to follow.

So the idea of this patch is to replace the fetch of this syspref with a
call to count the number of libraries defined in DB.

Test plan:
1/ From a fresh Koha install, execute the DB entry to remove the pref.
2/ Define only 1 library
3/ Confirm that Koha behaves the same as before (try to change your
library, look at the facets)
4/ Create another library (or more) and reinsert the pref and set it:
  insert into systempreferences (variable, value)
    values('singleBranchMode', 1);
5/ Execute the DB entry
You should get a warning message.
6/ Repeat 3.

Signed-off-by: Chris Cormack <chrisc@catalyst.net.nz>

Does what it says, but will change behaviour for any Koha install that
has 2 branches defined, One circulation, and this preference set.
If that is an acceptable change, we might need to make sure this is noted well in the
release notes.

3815915a33 Bug 15553 - [SIGNED-OFF] cgisess_ files polluting the /tmp directory
When some users want to improve performance, one suggestion is to switch the syspref "sessionstorage" to 'tmp',
which store the session info in the /tmp directory instead of the database.

Depending on the frequency of the cleaning process (or lack thereof),
this can be heavy pollution into the /tmp directory, making it unusable.
"rm cgi*" would not even work since cgi* extends to over 8000 items...

A simple fix is to modify the target directory in C4/Auth.pm to /tmp/cgisess.

Testing scenario:
1) change the syspref SessionStorage to 'tmp'
2) Log into the OPAC, validate that a file named /tmp/cgisess_(something) got created
3) Apply the patch
4) Log into the OPAC, validate that a file /tmp/cgisess/cgisess_(something) got created

Signed-off-by: Magnus Enger <magnus@libriotech.no>
Works as advertised. Session files are created in /tmp/cgisess/ instead
of directly in /tmp. I usually store sessions in memcached, but a
couple of times memcached has died on me, and before I knew it, /tmp
was so full of sessions files, I could not easily delete them with
"rm /tmp/cgisess*". Being able to delete /tmp/cgisess/ should be a
bit easier.

ac541e0fa1 Bug 15344: Remove unucessary call to GetMemberDetails
This subroutine does a lot a processing and should only be called when
necessary.
In the get_template_and_user subroutine (so called from any pages of
Koha), it is call to pass the branchcode, title, firstname, surname and
borrowernumber values for the logged in user.
This subroutine calls GetMemberAccountRecords which retrieve the items
infos for all accountlines entries of the logged in user.
On members/members.pl, let's say you have 74 entries in the accountlines
tables, the page will execute 115 SELECT instead of 35 if you don't have any
accountlines entries.
With this patch, the number of SELECT is always 31.

To test this patch you should have technical skills to know what to do.
