e5651d4dad Bug 20310: Redirect article record without items for article requests
If an article record has been catalogued separately, has no items and
contains a reference to its host via MARC21 field 773 (host item entry),
this patch makes an article request redirect to the host record while
copying title, author and page info (from 773$g).

This is accomplished by using the new Koha::Biblio->host_record method.

Note: Subfield 773$g may contain additional information on volume and
issue number etc. It will be very hard or perhaps impossible to parse $g
and copy these details into the corresponding fields of the article
request form for all possible variations used in libraries. A similar
remark can be made for selecting the correct item (when item level is
used). We could try this on a future report, but will probably need at
least a preference to define the expected format.

Test plan:
[1] Enable article requests. Add rules for an ART and a SER itemtype.
[2] Create a SER host biblio record.
[3] Create an ART biblio record, no items. Include a 773w pointing to the
SER record with '(MARCorgcode)[recno]' (keep the parentheses, remove
the square brackets when inserting the biblionumber).
    Include text in 773$g too.
[4] Place an article request on the ART record. Verify that it redirects
you to the SER record while copying title, author, page info.

975c48fb4a Bug 11879: Add a new field to patron record: main contact method
This patch adds the "Main Contact Method" field in the borrower
modification form.

This field is useful for reporting purposes, or to
know which contact method to use first when trying to contact a borrower.

0) Apply patch
1) updatedatabase.pl
2) In the staff client, edit a patron's contact info. There should be a new dropdown select to choose the main contact method
3) In the opac page, edit the personal details. There should be a new dropdown select to choose the main contact method.
4) Save the form. It should work.

a34bdcb59f Bug 27882: Move external search results links out of page heading
This patch modifies the JavaScript which adds search result information
to the OPAC search results page which is returned from OverDrive,
Recorded Books, or Open Library. The information now displays below the
page heading instead of inside it.

To test you must have OpenLibrarySearch enabled, OverDrive-related
preferences populated (OverDriveClientKey, OverDriveClientSecret,
OverDriveLibraryID), or RecordedBooks preferences (RecordedBooksClientSecret,
RecordedBooksDomain, RecordedBooksLibraryID).

This patch was written with OverDrive and Open Library results active.

- Apply the patch and perform a search in the OPAC catalog.
- On the search results page you should see results for your external
services appear below the page heading ("You search returned..."),
  e.g.

"Found 20257 results in the library's OpenLibrary collection"
"Found 337 results in the library's OverDrive collection"

fefd252f0a Bug 28511: Road types in OPAC should prefer OPAC description if one exists
This patch modifies the patron entry form in the OPAC so that if street
types are defined in authorized values, the OPAC description is
preferred.

To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Authorized values.

- Add or edit entries in the "ROADTYPE" category.
  - Some entries should have only the "Description" set, while others
should have "Description" and "Description (OPAC)".
- In the OPAC, open the patron registration page. Check the "Stree type"
drop down in the "Main address" section.
  - For entries which have an OPAC description, this value should show.
  - For entries without an OPAC description the default should show.

0276ca0ce8 Bug 28513: Fix analytics search links so they don't match unrelated biblios
At least when using Searchengine=Elasticsearch what happened was that
without () parenthese included the search for Host-item field was done
only to the first token, the subsequent ones matched any
fields. Adding the parentheses restrict the search to Host-item search
field only.

To test:

 2) Make a biblio with 245a = "biológica paranaense." and 773a = "Acta"
 3) Go to a biblio with 245a = "Acta biológica paranaense" (in
kohadevbox or create one if you need).
 4) Notice that the "Acta biológica paranaense" biblio's detail page link "Show
analytics" takes to the "biológica paranaense" incorrectly just
because the 773a has "Acta" and the words "biológica" and "paranaense"
 appear elsewhere in the biblio.

To help remove this possible confusion, the digest mode checkbox should
be disabled if no digest-able transports are checked for a given notice.

Test Plan:
1) Apply this patch
2) For both the staff interface and the opac, note that the digest
checkbox is disabled any time that no digest enabled transport (
email, sms if enabled ) is checked for the patron editor.

0b2fbcb66d Bug 27814: Improve responsive behavior of the user page in the OPAC
This patch makes minor changes to OPAC CSS in order to improve the way
the logged-in user's "your account" page works at narrower browser
widths.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

 - Log in to the OPAC as a user who has multiple checkouts.
 - Test the page at various browser widths, from > 1200 pixels wide to <
300 pixels wide. Your browser's built-in responsive design mode,
found in developer tools, can make these measurements easier.
 - At "phone-size" width the tabs ("Checked out," "Overdue," etc) should
   start displaying full-width.
 - The DataTable controls at the top of the checkouts table should
adapt well as the browser width changes.
 - At narrower widths the tables on this page should display much better
than they did before the patch: They should expand to fit the width
   of the page.

Edit: Tweaked the display property of the table search field at narrower
browser widths; Converted iCal download link to button to match other
elements in the toolbar.

4cc224baa7 Bug 27566: (follow-up) Add generic font family to prevent unstyled select tags
This correction fixes the previous patch which was dumb and stupid.

This patch adds a default font family "sans-serif" to the OPAC CSS as a
workaround for this Firefox bug:

font-family isn't honored in `<option>` element within `<select>`
dropdown
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1536148

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

 - Open the OPAC main page in Firefox.
 - Click the search type dropdown. The options should be styled using
your system's default sans-serif font rather than a serif font.
 - Check that other areas of the OPAC are still styled with the correct
"NotoSans" font. An error with this patch should be obvious when

a58cf90a31 Bug 26533: Fix 'is exactly' search for authorities
The exact search 6=3 is implemented, but it isn't used as expected when
you select 'is exactly' from the authorities search dropdown. This patch
remedies that.

To test:
1) Ensure you have an authority with more than one word in the name,
    i.e. Electric power production
2) Go to Authorities in the staff client.
3) Change the dropdown to 'is exactly' and search for one of the words
in your record's title, i.e. 'power' in the 'main heading' search
4) Confirm your authority shows in the results, even though it is not an
exact match.
5) Search for a biblio record and go to edit the record.
6) Go to Tab 6 and click the plugin button next to one of the 6xx$a
fields to trigger the authority finder plugin
7) Repeat Step 3 and Step 4
8) Go to the OPAC and go to Authority Search
9) Repeat Step 3 and Step 4

Apply patch

10) Repeat Steps 1 to 9, confirm that this time the record does NOT show
in search results.
11) Repeat Steps 1 to 9 but this time search for the authority record's
full title, i.e. 'Electric power production'. Confirm the record does
show in the search results because the search term now matches title exactly.

5844622665 Bug 28066: Remove select tag's size attribute where it is 1
This patch removes the "size" attribute from <select> tags where the
value of the attribute is 1. The attribute is unnecessary because the
default value when the attribute is undefined is 1.

This will allow for more careful sizing of <select> tags without a size
attribute while preserving the desired behavior of <select> tags which
have a size greater than 1.

The patch modifies 83 files but makes the same minor corrections to
each. I think examining the diff is sufficent, or testing a
representative set of pages:

 - Administration -> MARC frameworks -> MARC structure -> Edit tag:
   The "Authorized value" select.
 - Patrons -> New patron: The "Library" select.
 - Reports -> Patrons with no checkouts: The "Into an
   application" selects.

7b33ad0bd4 Bug 28047: Standardize: Call number, callnumber, Call no. etc.
This patch modifies instances in the template where variations of "Call
number" are used. Instead of "Call no." "Call no" or "callnumber," "Call
number" is used instead.

To test, apply the patch and test the following pages to confirm that
the label has been correctly updated. In the staff interface:

- Circulation -> Check out to a patron with checkouts -> View the table
  of checked-out items.
  - Check out to a patron who is guarantor to a patron with checkouts ->
View the table of the relative's checked-out items.
- Catalog -> Bibliographic detail page
  -> Holdings table
-> Place hold -> Check "specific items" table
  -> Rota (Stock rotation)
- Pending on-site checkouts
- Circulation -> Transfers to receive
- Circulation -> Transfers to send
- Patron -> Patron details
  -> Print -> Print summary
  -> Circulation history

In the OPAC:

- Log in as a user with checkouts
-> View the checkout tab on the "Your summary" page
  -> Your checkout history

In self checkout:

- Log in as a user with checkouts -> View the checkouts table.

da2d583591 Bug 28018: Replace obsolete title-string sorting: OPAC templates
This patch modifies OPAC templates to replace the use of the
"title-string" DataTables sorting method with the newer "data-order"
attribute.

To test, apply the patch and view the following pages to confirm that
columns containing dates sort correctly when using any setting of the
"dateformat" system preference:

- As a logged-in user, (proper testing will depend on having the
relevant data associated with your user, e.g. holds, searches, ill
  requests, etc.):
  - Your summary
    - Checkouts
    - Overdues
    - Holds
  - Your charges
  - Your search history
  - Your checkout history
  - Your holds history
  - Your interlibrary loan requests
  - Your tags
- Bibliographic detail page
  - With a non-serial record: Holdings
  - With a serial record: Latest issues
    - More details -> Full history: Test multiple years if possible
- Course reserves -> Course details
- Self checkout -> Check out to a patron with checkouts

8bb9cb649b Bug 27991: Message field for OPAC problem reporting should have a maxlength set
This patch adds a maxlength attribute to the form field for entering
checkout notes in the OPAC, matching the character limit of the database
column. A note is added to show the 255 character limit.

To test, apply the patch and enable the AllowCheckoutNotes system
preference.

 - Log in to the OPAC as a user who has checkouts.
 - On the "Your summary" page, the "Report a problem" fields should
have a hint below them, "255 characters maximum."
 - Try entering text in one of the fields. You should not be able to
   enter more than 255 characters:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse
nunc mi, fringilla in mauris quis, hendrerit feugiat mi. Sed ultrices
mollis nulla sit amet faucibus. Sed volutpat augue risus, eu rutrum

b9a3ac3191 Bug 27748: Encoding problem in link to OverDrive results
If you have OverDrive enabled and do a search for e.g. "Göteborg",
you will get a link above the regular Koha search results that
says e.g. "Found 1 results in the library's OverDrive collection".
If you follow this link, a search will be made in OverDrive, but only
for "G", because the search term is cut off at the first non-ASCII
char.

To test:
- Make sure OverDrive is enabled
- Do a search that contains a non-ASCII char, like "Göteborg"
- Click on the link "Found x results in the library's OverDrive
  collection"
- Verify the query string is cut off at the first non-ASCII char,
and that the number of hits is different from the number given
in the link on the previous page
- Apply the patch, restart all the things
- Repeat the search, and verify that the numbers match and that the
query string is intact after clicking on the OverDrive link

Lookin at the code, the same problem seems to be shared between
OverDrive and RecordedBooks. I have applied the same fix to both,
but I do not have access to RecordedBooks, so I have not been able
to verify that the problem exists there and is fixed by my patch.

24f56d872e Bug 21260: Move the count before the callnumbers
The current display is a bit confusing [Call number: A](2) seems
to indicate that we have two call numbers A. But what it means here,
is: we have two items and we list only one, being A.

So, we'd better do something like:

No need to display itemcallnumbers and branch info for items that

f05bff428c Bug 21260: Create three main XSLT Availability segments
XSLT changes:
[1] Add an item count at the start. Also add variables for counting
status available and reference. Use these vars in the corresponding
    'blocks'.
[2] Refine the No items-test with the new itemcount.
[3] Combine the reallynotforloan block with the other statuses by
refining (extending) its initial test. All if's are moved up into
the former block but are unchanged.

Result of these changes makes that the Availability line consists of three
segments: 1 Available items, 2 Reference items, 3 Other statuses.

Test plan:
[1] Check a biblio without any items in the OAPC results. You should
see the No items only here.
[2] Check a biblio with one item checked out. You should see only the
    'third' segment with Checked out(1).
[3] Check a biblio with one available and a notforloan==1. You should
see segment 1 and 2. Both listing item call numbers.
[4] Check a biblio with one available and a notforloan==-1. You should
see segment 1 and 3. Both listing item call numbers. (See also the

4896a30f07 Bug 27681: Style OPAC self-registration CAPTCHA as uppercase
This patch adds an inline "text-transform:uppercase" style attribute to
the OPAC self-registration CAPTCHA field so that the user doesn't have
to match the case of the CAPTCHA they're shown.

To test, apply the patch and start the process of self-registration in
the OPAC.

- At the end of the form, under verification, confirm that any text you
type in the verification field is uppercase by default.
- Confirm that the CAPTCHA is accepted when you submit the form.

0d6298567c Bug 27728: Add a search box on OPAC Search history
This patch makes changes to the OPAC search history DataTables
configuration so that table controls appear, including search, copy,
CSV, and print.

The patch also makes some improvements to the checkbox interactions: The
date column is now a label for the checkbox, and the "Remove selected
searched" button is now disabled until a checkbox has been checked.

To test, apply the patch and log into the OPAC as a user with a search
history. If possible, past and current searches of both bibliographic
and authority records.

- On the search history page, confirm that the DataTables controls
appear above each table: "Current" and "Previous" under both the
  "Catalog" and "Authority" tabs.
- All controls should work correctly and affect only the corresponding
table: Search, Clear filter, Copy, CSV, and Print.
- Confirm that clicking a date in the date column checks the correct
  checkbox.
- Confirm that toggling a checkbox correctly enables and disables the
"Remove selected searches" button as well as the "Select searches to:"
menu at the top of the table.

efeed28f7f Bug 27668: Improve validation of patron entry form in the OPAC
This patch improves the way we handle required fields in the patron
entry/update form in the OPAC. Instead of doing multiple checks for each
field using mandatory.defined(), the template now loops over a list of
fields and sets a "required" variable for any which are required.

Then, for each form field, the "required" variable is used to set
classes on labels, input fields, and the "required" text hints. The
class on form fields acts as a hook for the jQuery validator plugin. The
class on the text hints allows us to hide the text hint using CSS,
eliminating the necessity of using a template conditional.

The patch also adds the missing validator-strings include which enables
translation of the jQuery validator plugin's validation error messages.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

 - Go to Administration -> System preferences and enable
   PatronSelfRegistration.
 - Select multiple fields to be required using the
   PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField preference.
 - In the OPAC, start the process of registering for an account.
 - The fields you designated as mandatory should each have a "Required"
   label under them.
 - Try to submit the form without entering any data. The required fields
should now be highlighted in red and have another label, "This field
   is required."
 - Fill in the required fields and submit the form. It should submit
   correctly.
 - Modify the PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField preference
and select all fields as mandatory. Confirm that all fields in the
   patron entry form work correctly.
 - Test that form validation works correctly when modifying a logged-in
   patron's existing account.

f45d083f9a Bug 27731: Remove hold class from individual OPAC search result hold link
This patch removes the "hold" class from the "Place hold" link
associated with each search result in the OPAC. The class isn't required
for any functionality or style and it unintentionally triggers the "hold
multiple" JS function which requires that a checkbox be checked.

To test, apply the patch and log into the OPAC as a user who can place
holds.

- Perform a catalog search which will return multiple results.
- Click the "Place hold" link under any search result.
- You should be taken to the hold confirmation page.

This patch adds two system preferences to Koha, opacShibOnly and

one method, Shibboleth.

We do however, allow for local fallback for the SCO/SCI logins.

A system preference was chosen over a configuration file update to
allow for local override at the virtualhost level. In this way a
hosting provider can setup a 'backdoor opac' for example to allow
fallback to local logins for support operations.

disabled.

 - Log in to the OPAC as a user who has both regular and on-site

7ddb60e292 Bug 27353: Set X-Base-Total-Count header for REST API
We already set X-Total-Count to the total number of filtered rows,
but we don't have the total number of non-filtered rows.

Test plan:
This is easy to test on top of bug 27352 or bug 27251, apply them if not
pushed yet.
1. Create 40 items with public notes = "xxx" for biblionumber=4
then, using Postman (or whatever you prefer):
http://kohadev-intra.mydnsname.org:8081/api/v1/biblios/4/items?_page=1&_per_page=20&q=[{"me.public_notes"%3A{"like"%3A"%25x%25"}}]&_match=contains
Check the headers and confirm you see X-Total-Count=40 and
X-Base-Total-Count=44

2. go to /cgi-bin/koha/tools/quotes.pl
You see "Showing 1 to 20 of 28 entries"
Search "he"
Showing 1 to 20 of 22 entries (filtered from 28 total entries)

f5373b7a5e Bug 27148: Fix bug on self registration when user category is hidden
This patch fixes the bug when there is no patron category available for
selection in self registration form. It uses PatronSelfRegistrationDefaultCategory
to get patron's password length and strength.

To test:
1. Do not apply this patch
2. Allow SeflRegistration, set PatronSelfRegistrationDefaultCategory to
a valid patron category and finally add categorycode to PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField
3. Go to opac and enter self registration form
CHECK => There is no patron category available for selection
=> Password's info alert shows "Password must contain at least
undefined characters"
4. Fill the form setting a password and send.
CHECH => You get an exception saying "You must provide a patron's
category to validate password's strength and length"
5. Apply this patch and restart_all
6. repeat steps 3 and 4
SUCCESS => Password's info alert message shows a number instead of
"undefined"
=> Password's strength and length checks are working
=> If you change default category's lenght or strength parameter it get's reflected when you refresh the page
=> When you click send, patron is saved

470c760669 Bug 26941: Fix OPAC password recovery error messages
In OPAC password recovery perl opac/opac-password-recovery.pl
there are some error codes not in Template koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/en/modules/opac-password-recovery.tt

This patch fixes several bugs:
- remove 'use Koha::Patrons' defined twice
- remove vars $errTooManyEmailFound $errBadEmail, not used in any template
- add in template text for error 'errNoBorrowerEmail'

1) Create a patron A with login but no email
2) Create a patron B with login and valid email
3) Go to system preferences set 'OpacResetPassword' to ON
4) Make sure that OpacPasswordChange is also ON
5) Go to 'Forgot your password' in OPAC
6) Enter login if patron A and save

1ea55acd0c Bug 26921: Don't generate an invalid custom cover image if the url cannot be generated
In case a custom cover image url is used to generate the cover image of
bibliographic records, we should not build one if the record does not
have the necessary data.

For instance if you have
CustomCoverImagesURL set to https://covers.openlibrary.org/b/isbn/{isbn}-M.jpb
and a biblio does not have the isbn defined, we should not generate and
empty image (empty or invalid src)

Test plan:
0.
Set CustomCoverImagesURL to https://covers.openlibrary.org/b/isbn/{isbn}-M.jpb
Enable CustomCoverImages and OPACCustomCoverImages
To highlight the issue you should disable LocalCoverImages and OPACLocalCoverImages.
1. Make sure you have some of your bibliographic records with a valid
isbn
2. Make sure you have at least 1 bibliographic record without an isbn
set
3. Visit the search result and detail views (OPAC and staff interfaces)
=> Without this patch you should see a "Cover image" link, and an empty
block/div on the detail page
=> With this patch applied you should only see images when the url can
be generated

Note that the problem will persist if the isbn is not valid (ie. no
image is generated)

6e311a1be1 Bug 24083: (follow-up) Squashed follow ups
This squashed commit fixes:
- a small error in the checkouts related JS

- GetRenewCount now returns 6 values when a call to it succeeds, a
failed call should also return the same number of values. This commit
adds these additional values.

- Some changes in issue.t had broken the tests for unseen renewals (the
unseen tests were using variables that had been moved out of the tests'
scope).

- Also now using Koha::CirculationRules::set_rules to set circ rules
rather than using SQL queries.

- Fixed expected number of return values from GetRenewCount

- Moved unseen tests in issue.t to the bottom of the file to remove the
risk of interference with other test circ rules.

- There was a real mess in C4/Circulation.pm due to a bad rebase back in
February. Frankly it's a wonder anything worked at all. This commit
fixes that problem and reinstates the correct patch for
C4/Circulation.pm

- Somehow I'd never noticed this before but the columns in smart-rules.tt
were misaligned when UnseenRenewals was turned off. This was due to the
display of a <td> not being conditional when it should have been. This
is now fixed.

- This commit also fixes items 1 & 2 descibed by Katrin in comment #74 ->
comment #76.

- Fixed missing check for too_unseen in opac-user.tt, this test did used
to exist but got lost during sizeable rebase a few weeks ago :-(
- Added test for too_unseen to all AUTO_RENEWAL notice templates apart
from de-DE (as previously requested by Katrin)

51895cd7fb Bug 22818: Add notices sysprefs and DB column
This patch adds two new sysprefs. 'ILLDefaultEmail', 'ILLSendStaffNotices' and a new column to the
branches table called 'branchillemail'. It also adds five ILL related
notices.

Here we are providing the ability for a branch to have a dedicated email
address for it's ILL staff, the idea being that any notices sent by ILL
to staff need to go to specific staff, rather than the general branch
email address. If no branch specific address is defined, the address
specified in the ILLDefaultEmail syspref is used.

We're also providing a syspref 'ILLSendStaffNotices' to allow the user to specify which
notices should be sent to staff upon certain events.

We are also providing patron messaging preferences for the two patron
bound notices

We are also providing five notices for various ILL related events.

f11659c48b Bug 26148: OpenLibrary "Preview" link target is unclear to patrons
This patch makes changes to the display of the Open Library "read" links
in the OPAC search results and detail page. The link is now grouped with
other details about the record ("Publisher," "Location(s)," etc. On the
detail page, the "Preview" link will no longer appear under the cover
image.

The label is changed to "Found in Open Library," and the link now opens
the Open Library reader in a new window.

The patch also changes the Open Library button image links so that they
use https and makes it so that the "Found in Open Library" information
is hidden until the availability information has loaded.

To test, apply the patch and enable the OpenLibrarySearch system
preference.

 - Perform a search in the OPAC which will return results found in Open
Library, e.g. "poetry" in the sample data.
 - Confirm that the "Read now" images from Open Library appear on some
   search results.
 - View the detail page for one of these titles.
 - Confirm that the "Read now" button appears in the same format on the

8220aa14f9 Bug 26805: Remove remaining instances of jquery.checkboxes plugin from the OPAC
This patch removes the use of the jquery.checkboxes plugin from the 5
templates in the OPAC which still use it. The plugin itself is removed.

To test, apply the patch and test the "Select all" and "Clear all" links
work to select and deselect checkboxes on the following pages:

- The catalog search results page: The controls should also enable
and disable the "Select titles to..." menu.
- The list contents page: The controls should also enable
and disable the "Select titles to..." links.
- The suggestions page: The controls should also enable
and disable the "Select suggestions to..." link.
- The search history page: The controls should affect only the
corresponding table ("Current" or "Previous") and should enable and
disable the "Select searches to..." link.

This patch also modifies the template for grouped search results, as
enabled by the OpacGroupResults system preference, but I don't know how
to test it.

7ea60c0bd9 Bug 26695: Add modal "shown" event to set cursor focus
This patch attaches a focus() call to the login modal's "shown.bs.modal"
event so that the cursor focus is set to the username field when the
login modal is displayed.

To test, apply the patch and confirm that your OPAC uses the regular
login process--not casAuthentication or GoogleOpenIDConnect.

Click the "Log in to your account" link in the header. A the login form
should appear in a modal dialog, and the focus should be on the username

The same should be true if you trigger the modal from other

dc71c1ee48 Bug 26758: Correct OPAC ILL requests page markup
This patch makes some corrections to the OPAC ILL page which should have
been included in the upgrade to Bootstrap 4.

To test you must have Interlibrary loan configured and enabled in the
OPAC. Enter some text in the ILLModuleCopyrightClearance system
preference.

- Log in to the OPAC and go to the "your interlibrary loan requests"
  page.
- If you have only one ILL backend set up you should see a "Create a new
request" button which is styled correctly.
  - This patch makes corrections to the menu which displays if you have
more than one ILL backend set up, so it would be ideal to be able to
    test it.
- Upon clickng the "new request" button (or selecting a backend from the
new request menu) you should be prompted to choose Yes or No in
response to the ILLModuleCopyrightClearance text. The buttons should
be styled green and red, respectively.
- On the new request entry page the "Add new field" and "Create" buttons
should be styled in the "secondary" grey style.

6d361af642 Bug 26706: Fix btn-default styling for better contrast
This patch makes some updates to the OPAC's CSS in order to make
Bootstrap button styles more consistent. Some CSS has been simplified
and some has been made more specific.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

View a variety of pages in the OPAC to confirm that button styles look
good. For example:

 - Advanced search.
 - Catalog search results.
 - Bibligraphic details (including sidebar menu links and menus).
   - Subscription details, brief and full
 - "Your summary" page, various tabs.
 - Lists

The more pages tested the better! Be sure to test the hover and active

54dcce1413 Bug 26766: Correct selection of title during OPAC note confirmation
This patch modifies the JavaScript in opac-user.tt which executes when
the user submits a checkout note. The script tries to grab the
checkout's title from an earlier cell in the table row so that it can
display it in the confirmation message.

Before start ratings were enabled on this page, the title of each
checked-out item was the only HTML inside this table cell, so it was
necessary only to grab the HTML contents of the <td>. Now that star
ratings might be displayed as well we must make the selection more
specific.

To test, apply the patch and enable both the OpacStarRatings and
AllowCheckoutNotes preferences.

 - Log in to the OPAC as a user with checkouts.
 - On the "Your summary" page, fill out and submit the "Note" field for
   one of your checkouts.
 - In the confirmation message, confirm that the correct title
information is displayed as a link to the bibliographic detail page.

d10d24e42a Bug 26762: Modify template logic in opac-reserves.tt to avoid error
This patch makes a change to the OPAC hold template to prevent certain
cases where the output is invalid.

To reproduce, perform a search in the OPAC which will return some titles
which can be placed on hold and some which cannot.

 - Click the "Place hold" link
 - On the "Confirm holds" page the layout will be broken after the
first instance of the message "There are no items that can be placed

599a6cb92e Bug 26619: Cart - The "Print" button is only translated when you are in "More details" mode
This patch adds the "Print" string to datatables.js so that it can be
picked up for translation.

To test, apply the patch and add some items to the cart in the OPAC.

- Open the cart. You should see a button labeled "Print."
- The print button should work correctly.

TESTING TRANSLATABILITY

- Update a translation, e.g. fr-FR:

  > cd misc/translator
  > perl translate update fr-FR

- Open the corresponding .po file for JavaScript strings,
  misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages-js.po
- Locate strings pulled from
  koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/js/datatables.js for translation:

  msgid "Print"
  msgstr ""

- Edit the "msgstr" string however you want (it's just for testing).
- Install the updated translation:

   > perl translate install fr-FR

- Switch to your newly translated language in the OPAC and
repeat the test plan above. The translated strings should appear.

70c64fad46 Bug 26526: Relabel checkout note column in OPAC
When checkout notes are active, there is currently a new
column labelled 'Note' in the checkouts table in OPAC.
When a note is added, this is sent to the library. For
the user it's not clear from the label, that these notes
are not personal, but for reporting to the library.
The new label "Report a problem" aims to make this clearer.

To test:
- Turn on AllowCheckoutNotes system preference
- Check out some items to your account
- Go to the OPAC
- Look at the list of checkouts
- Apply patch
- Reload the page and check the checkouts table again
- Verify the heading has changed from "Notes" to "Report a problem"
- Hover over the heading with your cursor to see some more info

will make it easier for libraries to change text or style if needed.

8c99099e8c Bug 26719: Replace MSG_NO_RECORD_SELECTED with translatable string
This patch cleans up some loose ends left by Bug 25351, replacing
instances where the undefined variable MSG_NO_RECORD_SELECTED is used.

To test, apply the patch and perform a catalog search in the OPAC.

- On the search results page, without checking any checkboxes, use the
"Select titles to..." menu to try to add to cart and add to a list. In
each case you should get a "No item was selected" message.
- View a list which contains one or more titles. Click the "Remove
from list" link. You should get a "No item was selected" link.

Other instances have been corrected even though they will only be
triggered if something has broken. For instance, toolbar items in the
cart window which are disabled shouldn't register the click that might
trigger the error. And selecting an item for an item-level hold
shouldn't ever give a warning because at least one radio button should
always be selected.

7076125083 Bug 26519: Clean up OPAC buttons with incorrect classes
This patch makes some corrections to the OPAC templates to add the
correct classes to a few buttons which were missed during the
Bootstrap 4 upgrade, especially in cases where the buttons only appear
when JavaScript is disabled.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

- Locate the bibliographic record for a serial record and view the
details. The subscription should have patron notification set.
- Under the Subscriptions tab, the "Subscribe to email notifications"
  button should look correct.
- Click to subscribe and confirm that the buttons during and after the
  process look correct.

- Perform a catalog search in the OPAC. On the search results page,
disable JavaScript. This can be done in the browser's developer tools
  under "Settings."
- At the top of the table of search results there should be a
correctly-styled "Go" button next to the sorting dropdown menu. It
  should work correctly.

- View the contents of a list with JavaScript disabled.
- The "Resort list" button should be correctly-styled and should work to
  submit the form.

81f71d45fe Bug 15436: Use semicolon between series name and volume
MARC21 dictates that we should be using a ; before $v in 440, 490,
810, 811 and 830.

This patch also introduces some additional changes to unify formatting
between the various options for cataloguing series:

- The separator between multiple series is switched form ; to the
now commonly used | with a class for easy change of formatting.
- There was some missing logic that prevented the separator to show
up correctly between traced and untraced series.
- For some series $v was included in the link for others not. Now
$v always appears as text and only $a is linked, as this is what
  we actually search for.

To test this:
- You should be cataloguing multiple series in different ways, using
  - deprecated 440 (still present in old data)
  - 490, Ind. 1 = empty or 0 = not traced
  - 490, Ind. 1 = 1 = traced in combination with an 8xx field

Example (you should try a different combination!)
440 _ _ $aFirst series
490 _ _ $aSecond series ;$v1
490 1 _ $aThird series ;$v1 (this won't show, it will use 830 for display)
830 _ _ $aThird series ;$v1

Without patch:
Series: First Series; Second series ; 1Third series: 1

With patch:
Series: First series | Second series ; 1 | Third series ; 1

fee5886432 Bug 16728: Add MARC21 777 - Issued with entry to staff and OPAC detail pages
This adds the 777 - Issued with entry to the staff and OPAC detail pages.
It's built using the template for 773 with minor adjustments.

To test:
- Apply patch
- Catalog several 777 fields in one or more of your records
  - When using 1st indicator = 1, the note won't display
  - When using 2nd indicator empty, label will be "Issued with:"
  - When using 2nd indicator 8, the label will be drawn from $i if present
  - When $w and UseControlNumber pref is used, the link will be built using $w
  - In all other cases the title form $t will be used for the link
- Verify the display is correct

Examples for 777 can be found in the LOC MARC21 documentation:
http://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bd777.html

Note: Because the label depends on the 2nd indicator, the label is repeated for every
777 on a record.

fa2ec4c74c Bug 19616: (follow-up) Breaking items according to punctuation
Previously the code assumed that $t indicates a new line in the
listing. But this is not true. The standard tells us that -- or
.-- will indicate a new item.

"In records formulated according to AACR 2, a space-hyphen-hyphen-space
( -- ) is recorded between each item in the contents note unless a
delimiter/subfield code follows in which case there is no ending space.
In pre-AACR 2 records, items are separated by a period-hyphen-hyphen (.--)."

The previous logic did no longer work with $g added. From the LOC
examples:

This would work:
505 2 0 $tBaptisms, 1816-1872 --$tChurch members, 1816-1831 --$tHistory of the Second Presbyterian Church of West Durham /$rby L. H. Fellows.
505 0 0 $tQuatrain II$g(16:35) --$tWater ways$g(1:57) --$tWaves$g(10:49).

This wouldn't:
505 1 0 $gNr. 1.$tRegion Neusiedlersee --$gNr. 2.$tRegion Rosalia/Lithagebirge --$gNr. 3.$tRegion Mettelburgenland --$gNr. 4.$tRegion südliches Burgenland --$gNr. 5.$tRegion Südburgland

With the patches applied, all examples should display nicely now.

e474df6402 Bug 24155: Make weighting an option on advanced search
Currently we apply weighting to all searches except advanced search. The theory
being that when selecting indexes we don't want to apply weights. When searching
in ES weights are only applied to relevant results so it doesn't matter.

i.e. if weighting author*100 but searching subject, a term matching the subject search in author
is not boosted.

Given this, we should always apply weights, unless the user wishes not to

To test:
1 - Set some weighting
2 - Do some searches
3 - Note your terms and results, try advanced and regular searches specifying indexes or not
4 - Apply patch
5 - Note that opac and staff advanced search have option to apply weights
6 - Compare searches after the patch to see how weighting affects, it should be beneficial or not at all
