Bug 33819: Add page numbers to opac results breadcrumb
This patch adds the page number to the breadcrumb in the opac search results to ensure that it is unique to the content on the page. Currently it is not compliant to Accessibility guidelines as the breadcrumb is identical on every page despite the content being different.

To test:
1) Apply patch
2) Run a search in the OPAC that will return more than 20 results.
3) The breadcrumb should say "Results of search for 'search term', page x of y"
4) Run a search that will return less than 20 results
5) The breadcrumb should say "Results of search for 'search term'

Bug 34760: Confirm session ID is set to save OPAC search history to logged in user
This patch confirms that a session ID has been set before trying to save search history to a logged in user on the OPAC.

This depends on EnableOpacSearchHistory system preference being enabled.

Apply the patch and test that you don't see an Error 500 page at any point through this plan:

1. Do an OPAC search, ensure you are not logged in
2. Confirm your search was saved to search history
3. Do another search, then log in
4. Confirm you are brought back to the search results after logging in
5. Confirm all search history from the session is visible

Bug 34023: Prevent HTML injection in "back to results" link from search page
It is possible inject raw HTML into the "Back to search results" link by leading the user to a search with specially crafted URL.

For example, using the demo instance:

1. Visit https://koha.adminkuhn.ch/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?idx=&q=test&weight_search=1&%22%3Etest%3Ca%20foo=%22

2. Refresh the page (for some reason, "back to results" doesn't appear unless I do that at least once).

3. Click any result.

Note that the result page now contains:

  <a href="opac-search.pl?idx=&amp;q=test&amp;weight_search=1&amp;">test<a foo=%22" title="...

i.e. `">test<a ...` was successfully injected into the HTML.

I'm attaching a quick patch I've used to patch up our instance. It just indiscriminately URI-escapes all parameter keys. I didn't decode them back since as far as I understand all valid keys do not contain special characters.

Bug 33569: Fix sort by relevance in catalog search
When ordering catalog search by relevance from advanced search, this is not visible in sort order combobox in staff interface.

This is because sort by relevance is a special case not using sort
order.
This patch add a new method C4::Context->default_catalog_sort_by to use
in both staff interface and OPAC.

Test plan :
1.0) On staff interface
1.1) Define system preferences defaultSortField = 'relevance' and defaultSortOrder = 'descending'
1.2) Perform a catalog search from main page on any term, ie 'perl'
=> You see in sort combobox 'relevance' selected (with a check icon)
1.3) Perform an advanced search on any term, ie 'perl', with sort by relevance
=> Without patch : you see in sort combobox 'relevance' not selected (no check icon)
=> With patch : you see in sort combobox 'relevance' selected (with a check icon)
2.0) On OPAC
2.1) Define system preferences OPACdefaultSortField = 'relevance' and OPACdefaultSortOrder = 'descending'
2.2) Perform a catalog search from main page on any term, ie 'perl'
=> You see in sort combobox 'relevance' selected
3.0) Run prove t/Context.t

This patch sends out opac-search.osdx without running the entirety
of opac-search.pl without any search query.

Bug 28375: Inefficiencies in fetching COinS
This patchset adds an 'interface' parameter to XSLTParseForDisplay to avoid fetching
coins when not needed

Additionally we move some logic from the scripts to searchResults to avoid an extra fetch fo the biblio object

To test:
1 - Enable COinSinOPACResults syspref
2 - Also enable OPACShowOpenURL and OPACOpenURLItemTypes - adding an itemtype that you can find
3 - Perform a search on the OPAC and confirm coins are included and openurl shown

Bug 31213: Auto search simple term quoted
This patch does a second search if the first had no results and was a simple single term search

We simply quote the term, rebuild the query, and rerun the search

This targets both Zebra and ES, but is more relevant for ES

To test:
0 - Have Koha running using ES
1 - Add titles your system "Ivy + Bean" "The 6:20 Man"
2 - Search for these titles without quotes - NO results under ES
3 - Search with quotes - you find them
4 - Apply patch, restart all
5 - Search again without quotes
6 - Success!

c73967d87c Bug 17018: Split AdvancedSearchTypes for staff and OPAC
This patch adds a new system preference, OpacAdvancedSearchTypes, as an
OPAC-specific version of the AdvancedSearchTypes preference. Values from
AdvancedSearchTypes are copied to OpacAdvancedSearchTypes so that
behavior is consistent.

The patch also alters the output of the "Most popular" page so that:
1. The page heading is correct ("Most popular titles" instead of "Top
issues").
2. The table show both item type and collection whether or not the user
has submitted query with one of those fields as a filter.

To test, apply the patch and run the database update process.

- Go to Administration -> System preferences.
- Search for AdvancedSearchTypes. You should get two results, one for
the OPAC preference and one for the staff interface.
- Check that the OpacAdvancedSearchTypes settings match the
  AdvancedSearchTypes settings.
- View the advanced search pages in the staff interface and OPAC to
confirm that the tabs look correct.
- Change the OpacAdvancedSearchTypes and AdvancedSearchTypes settings to
be different and confirm that each is applied separately to each
  interface.
- Enable the OpacTopissue system preference.
- View the "Most popular" page in the OPAC.
  - The page heading should be correct.
  - The OpacAdvancedSearchTypes settings should be reflected in the
"Refine your search" sidebar: If "Collection" is checked, a filter
for collection should appear. If "Item types" is checked, a filter
    for item types should appear.
  - The output of your search should include collection and item type
regardless of what filters you've submitted.

f42412cb91 Bug 28784: Remove code related to num_paragraph cookie
It could lead to server freeze if set to a big value (we are pushing
into an array and so RAM is being fulfilled, and CPU is looping).

I don't understand the point of this cookie.

        var numPar = $("#booleansearch fieldset p").size();
        if (numPar > [% search_boxes_count | html %]){
            jQuery.cookie("num_paragraph", numPar,{ path: '/'});
        }else{
            jQuery.removeCookie("num_paragraph", { path: '/'});
        }

But "#booleansearch fieldset p" does not exist, it's not 'p' but 'div'
elements.

I've removed the code related to num_paragraph and the "Return to the
last advanced search" feature still works as before.

From this comment:
    # determine what to display next to the search boxes (ie, boolean option
    # shouldn't appear on the first one, scan indexes should, adding a new
    # box should only appear on the last, etc.

The only bit that is not working as described is "adding a new box
should only appear on the last", but it has been working this way for
a long time already I think, and I don't see it as a bug.

Test plan:
Read the code, check that the above is correct.

9d6d641d1f Bug 17600: Standardize our EXPORT_OK
On bug 17591 we discovered that there was something weird going on with
the way we export and use subroutines/modules.
This patch tries to standardize our EXPORT to use EXPORT_OK only.

That way we will need to explicitely define the subroutine we want to
use from a module.

This patch is a squashed version of:
Bug 17600: After export.pl
Bug 17600: After perlimport
Bug 17600: Manual changes
Bug 17600: Other manual changes after second perlimports run
Bug 17600: Fix tests

And a lot of other manual changes.

export.pl is a dirty script that can be found on bug 17600.

"perlimport" is:
git clone https://github.com/oalders/App-perlimports.git
cd App-perlimports/
cpanm --installdeps .
export PERL5LIB="$PERL5LIB:/kohadevbox/koha/App-perlimports/lib"
find . \( -name "*.pl" -o -name "*.pm" \) -exec perl App-perlimports/script/perlimports --inplace-edit --no-preserve-unused --filename {} \;

The ideas of this patch are to:
* use EXPORT_OK instead of EXPORT
* perltidy the EXPORT_OK list
* remove '&' before the subroutine names
* remove some uneeded use statements
* explicitely import the subroutines we need within the controllers or
modules

Note that the private subroutines (starting with _) should not be
exported (and not used from outside of the module except from tests).

EXPORT vs EXPORT_OK (from
https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/perl-exporter-examples/)
"""
Export allows to export the functions and variables of modules to user’s namespace using the standard import method. This way, we don’t need to create the objects for the modules to access it’s members.

@EXPORT and @EXPORT_OK are the two main variables used during export operation.

@EXPORT contains list of symbols (subroutines and variables) of the module to be exported into the caller namespace.

@EXPORT_OK does export of symbols on demand basis.
"""

If this patch caused a conflict with a patch you wrote prior to its
push:
* Make sure you are not reintroducing a "use" statement that has been
removed
* "$subroutine" is not exported by the C4::$MODULE module
means that you need to add the subroutine to the @EXPORT_OK list
* Bareword "$subroutine" not allowed while "strict subs"
means that you didn't imported the subroutine from the module:
  - use $MODULE qw( $subroutine list );
You can also use the fully qualified namespace: C4::$MODULE::$subroutine

685fcb1880 Bug 28241: Fix regex to allow for content before and after comma
1. Set up the OPACNoResultsFound with the {QUERY_KW} placeholder.
2.Do a search with a comma that will return no results. Like "King, Martin Luther". If the returns results add some additional characters to the search until no results are returns.
3. Look at the #noresultsfound HTML element. Anything before (or after) the comma is omitted. So the placeholder looks something like 'Martin Luther' instead of 'King, Martin Luther'.
4. Apply patch
5. Try the search again, you should see the content before and after a comma

195531c038 Bug 21249: New syspref controlling branch fields queried against selected library group value in advanced search
This commit allows librarians to choose whether they want to query the
homebranch, holdingbranch or homebranch AND holdingbranch when they set
a library or library group search condition in the staff client and OPAC
advanced searches.

Test plan:
1. Apply patches, update database, restart services
2. Set up a record with one item. Edit the item so that:
home branch = Branch A
holding/current branch = Branch B.
Note the barcode of your item.
3. Go to Administration -> Library Groups. Create a library group that
only contains Branch A.

= homebranch and holdingbranch =

4. Go to Administration -> System preferences and find the new
SearchLimitLibrary syspref. Confirm it is set to 'homebranch and
holdingbranch' by default. Keep this tab open.
5. Go to Advanced Search in the staff client in another tab. Under 'location and
availability', select your library group from the dropdown. Under
'search for', select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
6. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected.
7. Go back to Advanced Search. Under 'location and availability', select
Branch A from the individual libraries dropdown. Under 'search for',
select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
8. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected.
9. Go back to Advanced Search. Under 'location and availability', select
Branch B from the individual libraries dropdown. Under 'search for',
select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
10. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected.

= homebranch only =

11. Go back to your System preferences tab. Set the SearchLimitLibrary
syspref to 'homebranch'. keep this tab open.
12. Go to Advanced Search in the staff client in another tab. Under 'location and
availability', select your library group from the dropdown. Under
'search for', select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
13. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected,
because the syspref is set to homebranch and the library group contains our item's
homebranch.
14. Go back to Advanced Search. Under 'location and availability', select
Branch A from the individual libraries dropdown. Under 'search for',
select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
15. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected.
16. Go back to Advanced Search. Under 'location and availability', select
Branch B from the individual libraries dropdown. Under 'search for',
select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
17. Submit the search and confirm you are NOT taken to your item and your item
does not show in the search results.

= holdingbranch only =

18. Go back to your System preferences tab. Set the SearchLimitLibrary
syspref to 'holdingbranch'. keep this tab open.
19. Go to Advanced Search in the staff client in another tab. Under 'location and
availability', select your library group from the dropdown. Under
'search for', select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
20. Submit the search and confirm you are NOT taken to your item and your
item does not show in the search results, because the syspref is set to
holdingbranch and the library group does not contain our item's holdingbranch.
21. Go back to Advanced Search. Under 'location and availability', select
Branch B from the individual libraries dropdown. Under 'search for',
select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
22. Submit the search and confirm you are taken to your item as expected.
23. Go back to Advanced Search. Under 'location and availability', select
Branch A from the individual libraries dropdown. Under 'search for',
select the barcode option and enter your item's barcode.
24. Submit the search and confirm you are NOT taken to your item and your item
does not show in the search results.

25. Repeat the above test plan but do your searching with the OPAC
advanced search.

There is a difference between YAML::Load and YAML::XS::Load
From YAML::XS pod:
"YAML::XS only deals with streams of utf8 octets"

Test plan:
We are going to test 1 occurence and QA will confirm others don't

0. Don't apply the patches
1. Create a new itemtype with code=❤️
2. Create a new item using this itemtype (to biblionumber=1 will work)
3. Fill OpacHiddenItems with
 itype: [❤️]

From tht YAML pod:

"""
This module has been released to CPAN as YAML::Old, and soon YAML.pm will be changed to just be a frontend interface module for all the various Perl YAML implementation modules, including YAML::Old.

If you want robust and fast YAML processing using the normal Dump/Load API, please consider switching to YAML::XS. It is by far the best Perl module for YAML at this time. It requires that you have a C compiler, since it is written in C.

e474df6402 Bug 24155: Make weighting an option on advanced search
Currently we apply weighting to all searches except advanced search. The theory
being that when selecting indexes we don't want to apply weights. When searching
in ES weights are only applied to relevant results so it doesn't matter.

i.e. if weighting author*100 but searching subject, a term matching the subject search in author
is not boosted.

Given this, we should always apply weights, unless the user wishes not to

To test:
1 - Set some weighting
2 - Do some searches
3 - Note your terms and results, try advanced and regular searches specifying indexes or not
4 - Apply patch
5 - Note that opac and staff advanced search have option to apply weights
6 - Compare searches after the patch to see how weighting affects, it should be beneficial or not at all

b168f4a2e9 Bug 21395: Make perlcritic happy
This patch adds a .perlcriticrc (copied from qa-test-tools) and fixes
almost all perlcrictic violations according to this .perlcriticrc
The remaining violations are silenced out by appending a '## no critic'
to the offending lines. They can still be seen by using the --force
option of perlcritic
This patch also modify t/00-testcritic.t to check all Perl files using
the new .perlcriticrc.
I'm not sure if this test script is still useful as it is now equivalent
to `perlcritic --quiet .` and it looks like it is much slower
(approximatively 5 times slower on my machine)

Test plan:
1. Run `perlcritic --quiet .` from the root directory. It should output
   nothing
2. Run `perlcritic --quiet --force .`. It should output 7 errors (6
   StringyEval, 1 BarewordFileHandles)
3. Run `TEST_QA=1 prove t/00-testcritic.t`
