This patch adds the new 'Middle name' field to the patron record.

To test:
1) Apply patches
2) Update database, restart all and clear the browser cache
3) Load a patron in the staff module
4) Confirm you can see and edit the new 'Middle name' field
5) Confirm the new middle name data displays on patron details

7) Confirm the new middle name data displays everywhere patron names are
   displayed.
8) Confirm the new middle name data displays on the OPAC
9) Confirm the 'Middle name' field appears in the OPAC borrower
   modification screens
10) Edit sysprefs `BorrowerMandatoryFields`, `BorrowerUnwantedFields`,
    `SelfModificationBorrowerUnwantedField`, `PatronSelfModificationMandatoryField`,
    `PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField` and
`PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField` to confirm you can make
the new field required or hidden.
11) Verify that DefaultPatronSearchFields contains the new field if you
already had 'firstname' in the field list
12) Enable PatronAutoComplete system preference
13) Type patrons surname into checkout or patron search but don't hit
    return
14) Confirm the patrons middle name is displayed in the preview
15) Go to tools > patron lists and attempt to add a patron to a list
16) Patrons middle name should appear in the autocomplete here too

Bug 30947: Simplify CanBookBeIssued date handling
1) This removes support for passing string dates to CanBookBeIssued. The
function didn't publicly even document support for string dates, only
DateTime objects.

2) We get a $duedate always at least from CalcDateDue so having

 $issuingimpossible{INVALID_DATE} = output_pref($duedate);

was unneccesary and thus removed.

3) The check "duedate cannot be before now" was needlessly complex: if
the due date really cannot be before now we should check seconds too
and warn the librarian! Thus the truncation to minutes can be dropped
safely.

To test:
 1) prove t/db_dependent/Circulation.t
 2) prove t/db_dependent/Illrequests.t
 3) Enable OnSiteCheckouts and disable SpecifyDueDate syspref. Create
on-site checkout for any patron and verify the due date is your
current date at 23:59, you can check the exact minute with sql:
  > select * from issues

Bug 30409: barcodedecode() should always trim barcode
Barcode is trimmed of leading/trailing whitespaces in many instances
before the barcodedecode sub was called. This patch instead makes that
barcodedecode sub is going to trim it itself and removes unnecessary,
and repetitive code that was used before barcodedecode was called.

Steps to test:
1. Edit item with any barcode, add a bunch of whitespaces at the start
and at the bottom of it. Save the item. Ensure that this action ruins
the barcode and ensure that the spaces are still there by editing the
same item again.
2. Apply the patch.
3. Edit the same item again in the same fashion. Ensure that now all
whitespaces are getting trimmed and it doesn't affect the barcode in
any negative way.

Bug 30337: Holds to Pull ( pendingreserves.pl ) ignores holds if priority 1 hold is suspended
Holds to Pull ( pendingreserves.pl ) ignores holds if priority 1 hold is suspended,
and shows the wrong number of "patrons with holds" which presumably tells the
librarian how many copies to pull from the shelves.

Test Plan:
1) Create a record with one or more holdable items
2) Place two holds on the record
3) Note they show in the holds to pull report
4) Suspend the priority 2 hold
5) Note the report continues showing that 2 patrons have holds
6) Resume the priority 2 hold
7) Suspend the priority 1 hold
8) Note the hold disappears from the holds to pull report
9) Apply this patch
10) Restart all the things!
11) Reload the holds to pull report
12) The report should show one hold that needs an item pulled to fill it!

889ba1c381 Bug 30735: Fix filtering by patron attribute with AV in overdues report
In Circulation > Overdues, if there are seachable patron attributes
they can be used in left filters. Search does not work if this attribute
is linked to an authorized values category.

The problem is that AV code is compared to the AV desciption in :
  if (grep { $attrval eq lc($_->[1]) } @{ $pattrs->{$code} }) {

Looking at a Data::Dumper of the var $pattrs you see for example :
$VAR1 = {
          'ATT1' => [
                      [
                        'afr',
                        'Afrikaans'
                      ]
                    ]
        };
First row is attribute code and second row is desciption.
It works for an attribute without AV because in this case
'avdescription' is undefined so code is stored as description :
          push @{ $pattrs->{$row->{attrcode}} }, [
            $row->{attrval},
            defined $row->{avdescription} ? $row->{avdescription} : $row->{attrval},
        ];

This patch fixes the code and removes commented line.
Also reviews the SQL query :
  - avcategory is useless
  - use alias attrcode for borrower_attributes.code to be more explicit

Test plan :
1) Create a patron A with overdues
2) Go to Circulation > Overdues
3) Check you see the patron A
4) Create a patron attribute, searchable, with an authorized value
   category, ie LANG
5) Edit patron A to set a value in this attribute
6) Go to Circulation > Overdues
7) Select attribute value and apply filter
8) Check you see the patron A
9) Redo test plan with a patron attribute, searchable, without an
   authorized value category

This patch updates the three scripts that fetched the soonest renewal date
to use the return from CanBookBeRenewed

To test:
1 - Set a circulation rule with a 'no renewal before' set to 3, loan length set to 5
2 - Check out an item to a patron that uses this rule
3 - Verify the checkouts for the patron show the correct 'No renewal before' date
4 - Sign in to the patron's opac account
5 - Verify the item shows it cannot be renewed, and shows the correct date
6 - Go to Circulation->Renew
7 - Attempt to renew using barcode

9abd94b251 Bug 30251: (bug 10902 follow-up) With IndependentBranches non-superlibrarians do not get autocomplete list in circulation module
Having IndependentBranches on, a librarian who is not superlibrarian
does not get a autocomplete hint list when entering a part of the
patron's name (while performing check out, etc.) Koha registers
an error:

DBIx::Class::Storage::DBI::_dbh_execute(): DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::st
execute failed: Column 'branchcode' in where clause is ambiguous at
.../Koha/Objects.pm line 312

This is due to fix to the bug 10902 -- addig "prefetch => 'branchcode'" to
the attributes of the query in circ/ysearch.pl, while having branchcode
in the search parameters.

Test plan:
----------

1. Have IndependentBranches on, PatronAutoComplete set to 'Try.
Be a librarian without superlibrarian privileges. Have some
   patrons defined.
2. In the main input field on the top, with Check out active, try to
put 3+ characters from the known user name/cardnumber etc. You
   will get no hint.
3. Apply the patch.
4. Repeat 2. You should now see an autocomplete hint list.

e8241182ba Bug 30282: overdues report does not display subtitle, part_name, part_number
In circ/overdue.pl, the Title column is the result of includes/biblio-title.inc display. The code of biblio-title.inc means to display subtitle, part_number and part_name from biblio table, but nothing but commas show up because those fields are never retrieved by overdue.pl

To reproduce:
1) have an item whose biblio.subtitle, part_name and part_number and non-empty.
2) issue it, then set it late (overdue).
3) go to the report page (circ/overdue.pl) and make it appear.
4) subtitle, part_number and part_name do not appear, although they are meant to by biblio-title.inc code
5) apply the patch and try again.

It's a simple fix of adding the fields in the database query.

514cbb809a Bug 19532: (QA follow-up) Simplify resultset accessors
This patch makes the different ->recalls accessors implemented on this
bug be more standard. This means:
- They don't do special things like default sorting or stripping out
special parameters. That's all left to the caller and the methods are
clean: they just return the related objects
- Useful filtering methods for Koha::Recalls resultsets are added. The
only used one (in the end) was ->filter_by_current. It seems like a
better approach, because it gives devs more control on how they want
to chain things, and there's a single place in which to maintain the
criteria of what is 'current' or 'finished'. This clearly makes the
'old' column obsolete IMHO, at least in the use cases I found. This is
  covered by tests as well.

4. Go to Administration -> system preferences. Find the UseRecalls system preference. It should be DISABLED. Confirm RecallsMaxPickUpDelay is set to 7 by default.
5. Go to Administration -> circulation rules. Confirm there are no recalls circulation rules showing.
6. Test a few circulation flows: checking out, placing a reserve, checking in, fulfilling a reserve, etc. Confirm everything works as normal.

7. Go to Administration -> system preferences. Enable the UseRecalls system preference.
8. Go to Administration -> circulation rules. Set the following rules:
Recalls allowed (count) = 0
Recalls per record (count) = 0
On shelf recalls allowed ( If any unavailable / If all unavailable ) = If any unavailable
Recall due date interval (days) = 3
Recall overdue fine amount = (something different to your normal fine amount)
Recall pickup period (days) = 1

Throughout your testing, try with different combinations of these rules and itemtype / branchcode / categorycode. Also try with null values. Keep the circulation rules open in another tab so you can refer to and update these easily. You should also have at least one other tab open for the staff client, and a third tab open for the OPAC, for ease of testing.

9. Go to your account -> More -> Set permissions. Confirm the recalls permission is checked.
10. Set up a test user with OPAC login details (Borrower A). This could also be your own user, as long as you have OPAC login access.
11. Set up a test record (Biblio A) with at least two items (Item A and Item B) of the same item type (or an item type with the same recall circ rules).

PLACING A RECALL

12. Log in to the OPAC as Borrower A. Do a catalogue search with a term that will return multiple results, including Biblio A.
13. Click on Biblio A.
14. Notice there is a 'Place recall' button on the sidebar menu. Click this button. There will be a message saying that there are no items to recall - this is because all items are available.

15. Check out Item A to another borrower (Borrower B).
16. Refresh the 'Place recall' page. You will still NOT be able to place a recall - this is because Recalls allowed = 0 and Recalls per record = 0.

17. Edit the circulation rules to have the following values:
Recalls allowed (count) = 1
Recalls per record (count) = 1
18. Refresh the 'Place recall' page. You will now see the form to place a recall.

BIBLIO-LEVEL RECALL, NO TRANSFER

19. Place a biblio-level recall.
Pickup location: Branch A, the set branch when you are logged into the staff client
Recall not needed after (expiration date): whatever you want
Select 'recall next available item'
Click confirm
20. Confirm the recall is placed successfully. Confirm that the new due date displayed is correctly calculated to be today's date, plus 3 days (taken from the 'recall due date interval' circ rule)
21. In the staff client, look at Borrower B's account, and go to their Notices tab. Confirm they have received a 'Notification to return recalled item' notice.
22. Look at Borrower B's checkouts table. Notice the due date for their checkout has been adjusted, and there is now a note to say that the item was recalled and the due date adjusted.
23. Log in to the OPAC as Borrower B and go to your summary tab. Notice there is a note under their checkout to say the item had been recalled.

24. Log out of the OPAC and log back in as Borrower A.
25. Go to your summary tab. Confirm there is a Recalls tab with a count of 1.
26. Cancel the recall using the button. Confirm it cancels and the Recalls tab disappears.

27. Do a catalogue search with a term that will return multiple results, including Biblio A.
28. When the results load, notice there is a 'Place recall' button next to the 'Place hold' button. Click this 'Place recall' button.
29. Notice you are redirected straight to the form to place a recall.
30. Place a biblio-level recall again, following the steps in Step 19.

31. Go to your recalls history tab. Notice your first cancelled recall shows here.
32. Cancel the recall you just created, using the button. Confirm it cancels and you are redirected to your summary tab.

33. In the staff client, enable the UseCourseReserves system preference.
34. Go to the main menu, click Course Reserves.
35. Add a new course. (You may also have to define an authorised value for DEPARTMENT.)
36. Add Item A as a reserve to this course.

37. View Course Reserves in the OPAC. Click the course you just created.
38. Notice the reserve has a Recall button underneath it's 'Checked out' status. Click this button.
39. Place a biblio-level recall again, following the steps in Step 19.

40. Click the 'Place recall' link in the breadcrumbs.
41. Notice there is a message saying that you have reached the max number of recalls on this record. This is because Recalls allowed = 1 and Recalls per record = 1.
42. Edit the circulation rules to have the following values:
Recalls allowed (count) = 10
Recalls per record (count) = 5
43. Refresh the 'Place recall' page. You will now see the form to place a recall.

44. Create another test record (Biblio B) with at least one item (Item C).
45. Find this record on the OPAC and place a biblio-level recall again, following the steps in Step 19.

46. In the staff client, go to Circulation -> Old recalls. You should be able to see your two cancelled recalls.
47. Go to Circulation -> Recalls queue. Your current recalls should show here.
48. Use the 'Select all' checkbox to select all recalls.
49. Cancel the recalls using the 'Cancel selected recalls' button.

50. Go to the OPAC and place a biblio-level recall on Biblio A again, following the steps in Step 19.

51. In the staff client, check in Item A, which should still be checked out to Borrower B.
52. A box should pop-up asking you to confirm Borrower A's recall. Click ignore.
53. Click the link to go view Biblio A's details in the catalogue.
54. Click the recalls tab. Notice Borrower A's recall is displayed, and shows it is still Requested (has not been confirmed waiting).

55. Check in Item A again. This time, confirm the recall as waiting using the "Confirm recall" button.
56. Go to Borrower A's Notices tab. Confirm there is a notice "Recalled item awaiting pickup".
57. Go to Borrower A's checkouts. Notice there is a recalls tab. Confirm the recall is showing as "Ready for pickup".
58. Click the 'Actions' dropdown. Click the "Revert waiting" button. The page should show a message that the waiting status has been reverted, without reloading.

59. This time, check in Item B. The recall confirmation box should show again, because this a biblio-level recall that any recallable item under Biblio A can fill. Click the "Print slip and confirm" button.
60. Check the slip that is generated. Confirm it contains Borrower A's correct details, and the details of the recall are correct.
61. Go to Circulation -> Recalls awaiting pickup. Confirm the recall is now waiting and shows in this list.
(You could also try this with Item B having a different item type to Item A, and circ rules not allowing Item B's item type to have recalls. When checking in Item A, it should not trigger the recall box).

62. Go to Borrower A's checkouts. Check out Item B.
63. Confirm the checkout is successful and the recall is removed from the Recalls tab.
64. Go to Circulation -> Old recalls. The fulfilled recall should show.

65. Check in Item B.

Recall not needed after (expiration date): whatever you want
Select 'recall next available item'
Click confirm

69. In the staff client, check in Item A at Branch A. Notice the box that pops up shows that a transfer is required.
70. Click "confirm recall and transfer" and confirm the transfer.
71. Go to your account and click the Recalls tab.
72. Confirm the recall status now shows the item is in transit to Branch B.
73. In the drop-down top-right of your window, select 'Set library'.
74. Set your library to Branch B.

78. Confirm the recall status has been reverted to Requested.

79. Set your library back to Branch A.
80. Check in Item A and trigger the transfer.
81. Set your library back to Branch B.

82. Check in Item A at Branch B.
83. When the 'Recall found' box pops up, click Ignore.
84. Go to Circulation -> Recalls to pull. The recall should show here, with a button to "Cancel recall and return to: Branch A"
85. Click the button to cancel the recall.

86. Repeat Steps 66-70.
87. Check in Item A at Branch B. Confirm the recall as waiting.
88. Check out Item A to Borrower A to fulfill the recall.

89. Set your library back to Branch A and check in Item A.

92. Log in to the OPAC as Borrower A and go to Biblio A.
93. Click the 'Place recall' button. Confirm there is a message that there are no items to recall. This is because On shelf recalls allowed = If all unavailable, and there is still one item (Item B) available.
94. In the staff client, edit Item B to have a withdrawn, item lost or not for loan status.
95. Refresh the 'Place recall' page. Confirm you can now see the form to place a recall.

96. Place an item-level recall.
Pickup location: Branch A.
Recall not needed after (expiration date): whatever you want
Select 'recall a specific item'
Item B will not be selectable, and Item A should be selected by default.
Click confirm

97. In the staff client, edit Item B and remove the lost or missing status.
98. Check in Item B. Confirm the recall box does not pop up, because it cannot fill the item-level recall.

9c7a7f7c86 Bug 29771: Scalar context for split
This patch tackles a very specific scenario. Calling split(...,
CGI::param) makes it be called in list context. The split docs say:

split /PATTERN/,EXPR,LIMIT

this means the first CGI param will be used as EXPR and the second one
as LIMIT, which is wrong anyway. So the fix is to just force scalar
context.

To test:
1. Not sure, just make sure nothing breaks when using the scripts in the
   browser.

a771d0f704 Bug 26269: "Date due to" and "Show any items currently checked out" filters doesn't work properly in overdues.pl
Filter "Date due to" is now taken into account even when filled with a
future date for the displayed result and downloaded results.
Filter "Show any items currently checked out" is now taken into account
for the downloaded results.

To test:
1- Go to Circulation then to overdues
2a- Add a filter with "Date due To" > today
2b- Check that only the results with "Due date" < today are displayed
(not those with "Due date" between today and the date requested)
2c- Click on "Download file of displayed overdues"
2d- Check that the file contains only the results with "Due date" <
today (not those with "Due date" between today and the date requested)
3a- Reset filter and then add the filter "Show any items currently
checked out"
3b- Check that all the results are displayed (even those with "Due date"

1d6a2eb5c5 Bug 29220: Minor fixes and improved code readability
The current handling of onsite checkouts with OnSiteCheckoutsForce
syspref enabled is confusing and hard to understand. It's also fragile
with a high risk future changes could result in subtle bugs.

Also fix an inconsistency in which errors (DEBT_GUARANTORS) are considered blocking for
forced onsite checkouts.

To test:
1) Enable OnSiteCheckouts, disable OnSiteCheckoutsForce
2) Edit a biblio item and for example set Not for loan to a value
restricting loans
3) Try to check out the item for some patron
4) A message that item is not for loan should be displayed
5) Select "On-site checkout" and try again
6) The same message should be displayed
7) Try to checkout with some invalid barcode
8) A message that barcode was not found should be displayed
9) Now enable OnSiteCheckoutsForce
10) Try to checkout the item for some patron
11) A message that item is not for loan should be displayed
12) Select "On-site checkout" and try again
13) Checkout should now succeed, no messages should be displayed
14) Try to checkout with some invalid barcode
15) A message that barcode was not found should be displayed
16) All of the above steps should produce the same result with and without this patch

Additional:
Before patch:
 a) Set NoIssuesChargeGuarantorsWithGuarantees to 1
 b) add a guarantee with another guarantor
 c) charge a 1.01 fine to other guarantor
 d) checkout is blocked due to fines
Apply patch
 e) checkout is allowed when onsite checkouts forced

087176138c Bug 29786: Select only specific items for item level holds
This patch adjusts get_items_that_can_fill to make two requests:
first the list of items for item-level holds
second the list of biblionumbers for title-level holds

This stops the report from pulling more items for item-level hold

This patch also removes the aliases used in the code - while readability
is a bit harder, it allows for using 'me' in get_items_that_can_fill
Otherwise, this routine would need a parameter to know what we called the table.

To test:
1 - Find a record with many items available
2 - Place an item level hold for an item on the record, not the one with lowest itemnumber
3 - Run 'Hold to pull' report

c7a7e45812 Bug 15812: Use patron search in place of circ search
The 'Checkout' search hijacks some of the DataTables searching code used for 'Search patrons'
Rather than try to implement the search again on another page, we can simply send the user
to the patron search if the cardnumber is not found

Additionally, this patch adds a 'Check out' button to the patron search results to allow
going to checkotus directly

To test:
1 - Apply patch
2 - Perform a 'Checkout' search from the header
3 - Note that:
For a cardnumber, you are redirected directly to checkouts page for the borrower
For a search with one result, you are redirected directly to the checkout page for the borrower
For a search with many results, you are redirected to the patron search results
and there is a 'Checkout' button under the cardnumber
4 - Confirm circulation page works as expected (i.e. checkout to a patron)

aea8ce7fcc Bug 26352: Add plugin hooks to transform patron barcodes
Some of our partners have unusual barcode requirements that have
required us to transform scanned barcodes using javascript. This is not

3) Go to the plugin configuration page, set the configuration to the example configuration from the same page
4) In the patron search and anywhere else you can scan a patron

The method `call()` is not sufficient for barcode transformations. It's
possible that more than one barcode transformation plugin will be
installed. The `call_recursive()` method takes the output of the first
plugin and uses it as the input for the next plugin and so on. This allowes
each plugin to see the current version of the barcode and modify it if
necessary.

9d6d641d1f Bug 17600: Standardize our EXPORT_OK
On bug 17591 we discovered that there was something weird going on with
the way we export and use subroutines/modules.
This patch tries to standardize our EXPORT to use EXPORT_OK only.

That way we will need to explicitely define the subroutine we want to
use from a module.

This patch is a squashed version of:
Bug 17600: After export.pl
Bug 17600: After perlimport
Bug 17600: Manual changes
Bug 17600: Other manual changes after second perlimports run
Bug 17600: Fix tests

And a lot of other manual changes.

export.pl is a dirty script that can be found on bug 17600.

"perlimport" is:
git clone https://github.com/oalders/App-perlimports.git
cd App-perlimports/
cpanm --installdeps .
export PERL5LIB="$PERL5LIB:/kohadevbox/koha/App-perlimports/lib"
find . \( -name "*.pl" -o -name "*.pm" \) -exec perl App-perlimports/script/perlimports --inplace-edit --no-preserve-unused --filename {} \;

The ideas of this patch are to:
* use EXPORT_OK instead of EXPORT
* perltidy the EXPORT_OK list
* remove '&' before the subroutine names
* remove some uneeded use statements
* explicitely import the subroutines we need within the controllers or
modules

Note that the private subroutines (starting with _) should not be
exported (and not used from outside of the module except from tests).

EXPORT vs EXPORT_OK (from
https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/perl-exporter-examples/)
"""
Export allows to export the functions and variables of modules to user’s namespace using the standard import method. This way, we don’t need to create the objects for the modules to access it’s members.

@EXPORT and @EXPORT_OK are the two main variables used during export operation.

@EXPORT contains list of symbols (subroutines and variables) of the module to be exported into the caller namespace.

@EXPORT_OK does export of symbols on demand basis.
"""

If this patch caused a conflict with a patch you wrote prior to its
push:
* Make sure you are not reintroducing a "use" statement that has been
removed
* "$subroutine" is not exported by the C4::$MODULE module
means that you need to add the subroutine to the @EXPORT_OK list
* Bareword "$subroutine" not allowed while "strict subs"
means that you didn't imported the subroutine from the module:
  - use $MODULE qw( $subroutine list );
You can also use the fully qualified namespace: C4::$MODULE::$subroutine

dffb3fede8 Bug 27873: Improve message consistency: checkout and patron detail pages
This patch creates a new include for showing circulation and
patron-related messages on both the checkout page and the patron detail
page. This allows the two pages to be consistent with each other.

The patch also makes some minor CSS adjustments, including the addition
of an SVG to replace an old GIF, arrow-bullet.gif.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the staff interface CSS
(https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Working_with_SCSS_in_the_OPAC_and_staff_client).

- View both the checkout and patron details page for patrons in the
staff interface, confirming that the information is displayed in the
  same way, including:

  - Pending modifications
  - Pending expiration
  - Expired
  - Address in doubt
  - Card lost
  - Restricted (indefinite and with expiration)
  - Outstanding overdues
  - Outstanding return claims
  - Patron age incorrect for their category
  - Outstanding charges
  - Account credit
  - Waiting holds (at logged-in library or other library)
  - Circulation note (from borrowers.borrowernotes)
  - Messages (added at logged-in library or other library)

f539428d06 Bug 20472: Add format field to the interface
We need to add the format to the forms entering new requests:
  opac/opac-request-article
  circ/request-article
If the pref contains multiple formats like SCAN|PHOTOCOPY, the first listed
format will be preselected on the request form. If there is only one option,
we should not disable the select however. (Possibly hide it.)

If we have no mandatory fields, we should not allow the submit of a complete
empty form (check on OPAC).

And we need to show the format of pending requests on forms:
  opac/opac-user
  circ/request-article (biblio detail tab)
circ/article-requests (staff form to handle requests)
members/moremember (Article requests tab at the bottom)
  circ/circulation (Checkout/Article requests tab)
Note: The last two forms use the same include file.

b031ec5845 Bug 24434: Reinstate updateWrongTransfer
This patch re-instates the call to updateWrongTransfer to ensure the
transfer line is updated to reflect the new frombranch.

Test plan
note: when applying the patches, also update the database

1/ Check an item out from it's home library
2/ Check the item in at another library
   (with AutomaticItemReturn system preferences enabled)
2a/ Accept the transfer and note we now have a transfer present from the
items check-in library to it's home library
3/ Check the item in at a third library
3a/ Note you are asked to return the item to it's home library.
3b/ With the patch applied, the modal title should highlight that a
    'Wrong transfer' was detected.
4/ Go to the item record and note the holding library has been updated
to reflect where the item was most recently checked in.
4a/ With the patch applied the item status should reflect the last
checked in branch as the 'from' branch of the transfer.
5/ check-in from a 4th library, but use the 'Print slip' option for
accepting the transfer and confirm that also works.
6/ check-in from a 5th library, but use the 'Cancel' option and check
that this results in the item staying at it's current location and the
   final transfer having been cancelled.

This patch sets the transfer trigger to 'Reserve' when the staff user
confirms they are transfering to fulfil a reserve.

Test plan
1 - Place a hold for delivery at Library B
2 - Sign in at Library A
3 - Browse to Circulation->Transfers
4 - Attempt to transfer an item on the title with the hold to Library B
5 - You get a notice that hold was found
6 - You have the option transfer the for the hold - click it

This moves the DestinationEqualsHolding error message addition to if

These patches replace the 'Waiting' button on the transfers page with a 'Transfer' button

ac35ef7385 Bug 16785: Remove Autocomplete from overdues report filter
This patch removes code and markup related to an autocomplete input
field in the overdues report filter. The autocomplete was intended
to enable easy entry of patron attributes, but it's simpler to use a
Select2-styled <select>

The patch removes circ/ypattrodue-attr-search-authvalue.pl, which was
only used on this page and is now obsolete.

To test, apply the patch and create at least one patron attribute type
which is linked to an authorized value:

 - Administration -> Authorized values -> New category
   - Create a new category to test with
   - Add multiple authorized values under this category
 - Administration -> Patron attribute types -> New patron attribute
   type.
   - Create an attribute which is linked to the authorized value
category you created AND which is marked "Searchable."
 - Go to Circulation -> Overdues.
   - In the sidebar filter you should see your patron attribute as an
option, styled as a Select2 dropdown.
   - Clicking the dropdown should trigger a list of the authorized
     values you created above.
   - Test that the search field at the top of the list works correctly
     to filter the results.
   - Test that any repeatable attribute field can be cloned by clicking
the "Add" link, and that cloned fields can be removed using the
     "Delete" links.
   - Test that cloned fields remain in place after submitting the fitler
form, and that any selected entry in a Select2 widget is
     preselected.

6754e92c1c Bug 25760: (bug 15422 follow-up) Display record with hold ratio greater than or equal to the value entered
On bug 15422 we made it so that only holds with copies to buy to acheive the holds ratio
showed

Users have reported that they want to see record where there are 0 copies to buy i.e.
the holds ration matches the value entered

This patch changes the criteria for returning holds to be if the ratio for a given title
is equal to or greater then the ratio specified in the form

I also renamed 'ratiocalc' to 'copies_to_buy' since that is what is contains

Test plan:
1. Create bibliographic records with 1, 2 and 3 items
2. Place 1 hold on each of them
3. Go to the Hold ratios report and search with ratio = 1, 2 then 3
4. You expect to see:
the title with 1 item with ratio 1
   nothing otherwise
5. Place another hold on each of the record
6. Repeat 3 you expect to see:
titles with 1 or 2 items with ratio 1
title with 1 item for ratio 2
   nothing with ratio 3
7. Place another hold on each of the record
8. Repeat 3 you expect to see:
titles with 1 or 2 or 3 items with ratio 1
title with 1 item or 2 items for ratio 2
   nothing with ratio 3
9. Make sure there is no regression in the test plan of bug 15422

Comments from Frank Hansen:

Some comments.
When I adding the third hold on each record in step 7, It will result in
the following result:

titles with 1 or 2 or 3 items with ratio 1
title with 1 items with ratio 2 because the title with 2 items will get
a ratio of 1.50 and not 2.

63cc298016 Bug 18912: Display more info when using itemBarcodeFallbackSearch
Using itemBarcodeFallbackSearch entering a barcode on checkout will do a keyword
search and provide you with a list of items matching the search term for checkout.
This allows checking out items, where there is no barcode in the item (you still need
a dummy barcode in Koha).

At the moment the table of items to choose from will only chow the title and the dummy barcode.

In order to make it more useful and easier to identify the correct item,
we should show more information here:

- callnumber (952$o)
- serial enumeration (952$h)
- copy number (952$t)
- inventory number (952$i)

(description copier from comment 0)

70239b355c Bug 28139: Simplify logic for handling found holds in returns.pl
We are handling in this if-else block 3 cases:

010181a6a0 Bug 27652: Display patron's categories for sysprefs expecting them
This patch adds a new type of system preference entry option: patron
category. A preference with this type will show either a <select> with
patron categories to choose from or a multiple-select menu for choosing
one or more.

This prevents possible errors from incorrect category codes being
entered manually.

To test, apply the patch and run the database update.

- Go to Administration -> System preferences.
- Test each of the updated preferences to confirm that the available
options are correct and that your selections are correctly saved.

  - Single category selections, PatronSelfRegistrationDefaultCategory
and GoogleOpenIDConnectDefaultCategory. With each of these you
should see a dropdown where you can select of all the existing
    patron categories.

  - Multiple selections, OPACHoldsIfAvailableAtPickup and
BatchCheckouts: These preferences should have an option for
selecting one or more system preferences at once.

- Test the pages affected by the updated system preferences:

- With BatchCheckouts enabled, confirm that the batch checkout page is
  correctly limited by patron category.

- Set the OPACHoldsIfAvailableAtPickup preference to "Don't allow" and
select at least one patron category in the
  OPACHoldsIfAvailableAtPickupExceptions preference.
- Log in to the OPAC as a patron whose category was not selected in
  the OPACHoldsIfAvailableAtPickupExceptions preference.
- Try to place a hold on an item which is available at a library.
- When confirming the hold, the libraries where the item is available
should be disabled in the "Pick up location" dropdown.
- Repeat the process as a patron whose category was selected in
OPACHoldsIfAvailableAtPickupExceptions. There should be no disabled
  pickup locations.

fd0bc2204c Bug 25690: Make CanBookBeIssued return In Processing state as needing confirmation
This prevents checking out to a patron an item with hold to someone
else in the In Processing state via staff interface.

Also the checkout error message via SIP is now a more clearer one: "Item is
on hold for another patron." Before it was "Item cannot be issued:
$confirmation".

Also the branch transfer and batch checkout pages are adapted to this new
confirmation message as well.

To test:
 1) Create bib level hold to an item for patron A
 2) Check-in that item via SIP2, now the hold state should be "In processing"
 3) Apply patch
 4) Try to checkout the item to patron B via staff interface and
notice we get now confirmation prompt do we really want to do it
    because it is in processing.

In order to not have to setup SIP2 server, alternatively steps 1) and
 2) can be done so that you check-in the item in staff interface and
make it Waiting, and then with SQL change it to "In processing":

fbef547832 Bug 25690: Remove double usage of 'Reserved' return value
The patch "Bug 19116: Hold not set to waiting after transfer" added a
new meaning to 'Reserved' return value of C4::Reserves::CheckReserves
function. Let's remove double usage and have separate Transferred
return value so we can differentiate between attached and non-attached
holds. This will come useful in future refactorings.

This patch does no changes to the logic except in the
/cgi-bin/koha/circ/branchtransfers.pl and circulation.pl we now give
similarly to waiting state notice about hold being transferred.

To test:
   1) Apply this patch
   2) Create a new item level hold so that pickup library is different
than where the item is currently. Then return the item so that hold
   is being attached and transferred.
   3) Go to branchtransfers.pl and try to create a new transfer: it
should prompt you with message "Item is attached to a hold and

f831130525 Bug 27676: Correct finesMode ne off condition
finesMode is 'off' by default (sysprefs.sql), but if you modify its value from
the UI and set it to 'production' then back to 'off', the DB value becomes an
empty string '', because of $YAML::Syck::ImplicitTyping

This has been found when working on on removing YAML::Syck (bug 22824),
so it's not perfect but the situation will be cleared in the follow-up
bug report.

Test plan:
0. Don't apply the patch
1. reset_all
=> finesMode eq 'off' in DB
2. Set the pref's value to production
3. Switch it back to 'off'
4. Value is '' in DB
5. Check an item in that should generate overdue charges
=> Charges are not generated
6. Apply the patch
7. Check an item in that should generate overdue charges
=> Charges are generated
