21462582f5 Bug 35127: Fix 'Search type' for patron search
We need to fallback on the syspref DefaultPatronSearchMethod but keep
the value when one is passed!

Test plan:
Search for patrons, and use the "search type". Set it to different
values than DefaultPatronSearchMethod and confirm that the value is
kept.
Fix is expected when searching for patrons in the header (use the
options to select a different value and run the search)

5cbaec63a3 Bug 35072: Fix invalid usage of "&amp;" in JavaScript intranet-tmpl script redirects
These escapes were invalid in these places, as HTML entity escapes
are meant to be used only inside of HTML elements/attributes, not
inside of JavaScript code.

These URLs would be sent out by the browser as-is, and that'd usually
work on the default install only coincidentally. Unfortunately, on some
setups (such as when using reverse proxies), this would break, and the
URL after "&amp;" would have been truncated.

This small patch adjusts the URLs in templates to not use wrong escapes,
and makes them consistent with how URLs are formatted for JavaScript
redirects in most of the templates already.

1392fbe90f Bug 35112: Fix return claims table showing on other patron tabs
This patch fixes some unintentional changes introduced by Bug 25023.

To test:

1. Set a LOST authorised value in the ClaimReturnedLostValue to enable return claims.
2. Check out an item
3. Submit a return claim for the checkout
4. Refresh the patron page
5. Notice the return claims table is showing strangely when viewing the other patron tabs i.e. Checkouts, Holds, Restrictions.
6. Apply the patch and refresh the page
7. Confirm the return claims table only shows when viewing the Claims tab, as expected.

2266ee4004 Bug 35124: Incorrect item groups table markup
This patch corrects the markup of the item groups table which is found
under the "Item groups" tab on the bibliographip detail page in the
staff interface.

The patch also adds the "NoSort" class to the "actions" column to
prevent it from being sortable.

To test, apply the patch and make sure the "EnableItemGroups" system
preference is enabled.

- In the staff interface, locate a record with items and view the detail
  page.
- Under the "Item groups" tab confirm that the table looks correct: The
heading labels should be centered bold text.
- You should see sorting indicators on the "Display order" and "Description"
headings but not on the last one.

a4423d2914 Bug 34946: Remove the use of event attributes from self checkout and check-in
This patch removes the use of event attributes from the self checkout
and self check-in templates. These events are defined now along with the
other in-page JS.

To test you must have SelfCheckInModule and WebBasedSelfCheck
preferences enabled. And SelfCheckoutByLogin = cardnumber.

- Navigate to the self checkout interface
  (/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sco-main.pl).
- When the page loads, cursor focus should be automatically placed in
  the barcode field.
- Test the "munge history" feature from Bug 10016:
  [1] Start a web-based self-check session.
  [2] Enter a patron barcode.
[3] Allow the self-check session to time out.
[4] Use the back button. You should get the patron barcode
entry form; you should not be prompted to resubmit form input.
[5] Enter a patron barcode, perform some transactions, then
      use the finish button.
[6] Next, use the back button. You should get the patron barcode
      entry form.
- Test the updated checkout_confirm function by submitting the "magic"
barcode for checkout: __KOHA_NEW_CIRC__. The user's session should be
  ended.

- Navigate to the self check-in interface
  (/cgi-bin/koha/sco/sci-main.pl).
- Test the cursor focus and "munge history" feature on this page too.

dfd38e4d9f Bug 35110: Authorities editor with JS error when only one tab
Exactly like Bug 34251 for biblios :
When using the an authorities framework with all fields in the same tab, there is thrown a JS error in selectTab( "#tab0XX_panel" );
This is because no nav tabs are build in authorities/authorities.tt as BIG_LOOP has a length(size) of 1

Test plan :
1) Edit an authority framework, for example 'Meeting Name', to set all sufields in tab 0
You may use SQL : UPDATE auth_subfield_structure SET tab=0 WHERE authtypecode='MEETI_NAME'
   Don't forget to restart memcached
2) Go to 'Authorities'
3) Click on 'New authority' then 'Meeting Name'
4) Check you don't see any JavaScript error
5) Check you can save

c238416b36 Bug 35000: Fix OPACMandatoryHoldDates feature in opac-reserve
Somewhere (perhaps after bug 29012) this feature has been broken
somehow.
The fact that we have two inputs for the date and the active one
is one level deeper, requires a few adjustments in the jquery
selectors etc. (Note that two Required lines were visible too.)
The corrected jquery constructs become a bit complexer now.

Test plan:
Enable AllowHoldDateInFuture + OPACAllowHoldDateInFuture.
Set circ rule for book to test with allows item level holds.
Set OPACMandatoryHoldDates to no hold dates.
Place hold on a book in OPAC. Check that More options is collapsed.
(If you force item level holds, it will open.)
Set OPACMandatoryHoldDates to Hold start date.
Refresh place hold page. More options is expanded now.
Click Place hold. You should see an alert and focus goes to start date.
Set OPACMandatoryHoldDates to Hold end date. Repeat place hold.
Set OPACMandatoryHoldDates to Both hold dates. Fill one. Place hold.
Bonus: Place hold on multiple biblios. Repeat former steps.

d32d035c0e Bug 34980: Remove the use of event attributes from title-actions-menu.inc in OPAC
This patch updates the include file used to show actions with each
search result, removing two instances of "onclick" in favor of an event
handler class which was already in use elsewhere.

To test, apply the patch and log in to the OPAC.

- Perform a catalog search which will return results.
- Test the "Save to lists" link under any search result. The "Save to
  lists" pop-up window should appear.
- View the contents of a list which contains some titles.
- Test the "Save to another list" control. The same pop-up window should
  be triggered.
- Tag at least one title in the catalog and view the "Tag cloud" page.
- Perform the same test with the "Save to lists" button in the table of

93df451c82 Bug 34901: Display transit status on patron holds tab only if hold found value is "T"
Check the transit status of the *hold* in addition to the transit status
of the *item*, to avoid displaying a misleading transit status on
item-level holds when the item is actually in transit for a different
hold

To test:
1. Create a record-level hold for Patron A for pickup at a library other
   than the logged-in library
2. Check in an item to fill that hold
3. Put an item-level hold on that same item for Patron B at a different
library other than the logged-in library
4. Open Patron A's and Patron B's account details pages in separate tabs
--> Note that the Holds tab on Patron A's account detail page correctly
shows that their hold is in-transit
--> Note that the Holds tab on Patron B's account detail page incorrectly
shows that their hold on the same item is also in-transit
4. Apply patch
5. Clear browser cache
6. Refresh both patrons' account details pages
--> Confirm that the holds tab on Patron A's account still correctly
    says their hold is in-transit
--> Confirm that the holds tab on Patron B's account now correctly shows
a blank status for their hold
7. Cancel Patron A's hold
8. Check in the item again to put it in transit for Patron B's hold
9. Reload Patron B's account page
--> Confirm that the holds tab on Patron B's account now correctly says
    their hold is in-transit

8556c3f424 Bug 35006: OPAC holdings table - Fix sort for library columns
This patch updates the holdings table on the OPAC's bibliographic detail
page so that home and current library columns can be sorted correctly by
library name. There have been changes to the way the template shows
these values, but the DataTables "data-sort" attribute on the table cell
had not been updated accordingly.

To test, apply the patch set the OpacLocationBranchToDisplay system
preference to "home and holding libraries."

- Make sure home and holding library columns are not hidden in the
table settings under Administration -> Table settings -> OPAC ->
  holdingst.
- Locate a bibliographic record in the OPAC which has multiple items
  from different libraries.
- Test that the home and current library columns sort correctly by
  library name.

19c0d6c492 Bug 27249: Prevent infinite loop when searching for an open day
Calendars can be configured in a way that all days are closed.
The simplest way to do that is to configure a repeatable holiday for
every day of the week.
With such calendars, searching for an open day will literally take
forever.

This patch sets a hard limit on how many iterations are allowed before
giving up. This limit is set to the arbitrary value of 5000, which
should be large enough to be able to consider there is no open days if
we haven't found any with that many iterations, and small enough to
allow the loop to end quickly

Test plan:
1. Set system preference 'useDaysMode' to 'Use the calendar to push the
due date to the next open day' ('Datedue'). Make sure the existing
circulation rules do not conflict with that setting.
2. Browse to Tools » Calendar
3. Set every day of the week to "Holiday repeated every same day of the
   week"
4. Issue an item to a patron
5. Check the box and select 'Renew selected items'
6. The renewal should fail pretty quickly

09677fa3a7 Bug 35010: In record checkout history do not show anonymous patron link
In a biblio record checkout history, when a checkout is anonymized the
patron id has been replaced by anonymous patron id.
In this case we should not show anonymous patron link.
It looks like a real patron did this checkout.

Test plan :
1) Set an existing patron id in system preference 'AnonymousPatron'
2) Perform anonymisation on old checkouts (or edit database manually)
3) Look at a record checkout history with old checkouts
=> You see 'Anonymized' for anonymized checkouts
4) Set system preference 'AnonymousPatron' empty
5) Look at same record checkout history

a18d11c2f8 Bug 33395: Patron search results - show number of overdues and checkouts when patrons have overdues
This fixes the display of patron search results, so that it shows
the number of checkouts when a patron has overdue items. For
example: 1 / 2

Bug 30063 changed the display to show only the number of overdue
items in bold and red, without the total number of items checked
out.

Test plan:
1. Check out two items to a patron - make one overdue (click the
checkout setting options and then specify a due date a month
   ago).
2. Check out another item to another patron.
3. Search for patrons so that the two patrons you checked out
items to are listed in the results.
4. Note the display for the 'Checkouts' column:
   4.1 For patrons without any checkouts: 0 / 0
4.2 For the patron from step 2 with one checkout: 0 / 1
4.3 For the patron from step 1 with one overdue and one
checkout: 1 (in bold and red)
5. Apply the patch.
6. Refresh the page of results (step 3).
7. Note that for the patron from step 1, the display now shows:
1 / 2 (with the 1 in bold and red).

This patch corrects two RSS links in the OPAC search results template so
that they include the correct parameters, including the descending sort
by acquisition date.

To test, apply the patch and go to the OPAC.

- Perform a catalog search which will return search results.
- Next to the page heading "Your search returned X results" is an RSS
link. Check the link to confirm that it has all the expected
  parameters:

  opac-search.pl?idx=kw&q=nude&count=50&sort_by=acqdate_dsc&format=rss

- Perform a search which will return no results and check the RSS link

347a6f016e Bug 34945: Remove the use of event attributes from OPAC clubs tab
This patch removes the use of event attributes (onclick) from the
template for the clubs tab shown in the OPAC to a logged-in user.
These events are defined now along with the other in-page JS.

The patch also makes some general improvements to the template for
consistency:

- Adding Bootstrap color classes to the "Enroll" and "Cancel enrollment"
  buttons.
- Enhancing the responsive configuration to the DataTable.

To test you should have a few patron clubs defined (Tools -> Patron
clubs).

- Apply the patch and log in to the OPAC.
- On the user summary page, click the "Clubs" tab.
- The "Enroll" and "Cancel enrollment" buttons should look correct and
  work as expected:
  - Click the "Enroll" button.
    - On the enrollment confirmation view, test both the "Finish
enrollment" button and the "Cancel" link.
  - Test "Cancel enrollment" button.
- Test the responsive behavior of the page to confirm that it adjusts
  well to narrow browser widths.

40cef822bb Bug 34730: Add responsive behavior to more tables in the OPAC
This patch adds responsiveness to several DataTables which were not
updated in 32341. The patch removes the CSS-based responsive styling
which was previously used for these tables.

This patch also adds some additional configuration to the tables on the
user home page so that the title column is always prioritized when
DataTables collapses columns in narrow views.

To test, apply the patch and rebuild the OPAC CSS. Ideally this should
be tested with a user who has checkouts, overdues, holds, tags, and a
checkout history.

- Log in to the OPAC and test the user summary page. Check that each
table adjusts well to narrow browser widths. In each case the column
containing the title should never be hidden no matter how narrow the
  window:
  - Checkouts
  - Relatives' checkouts (requires that the user is a guarantor for a
patron with checkouts and that the guarantee's account is set up to
    show checkouts to the guarantor).
  - Overdues
  - Holds
  - Article requests

The new places the responsive DataTables extension is being used:

- Checkout history
- Suggestions
- Tags (in the table of user-submitted tags)
- Most popular

Again, in each case the table should be responsive and the title column
should be prioritized so that it doesn't get hidden at narrow page
widths.

e87d5dff12 Bug 34768: Remove checkbox column from relatives fines on OPAC
When a patron has a guarantee and can see their fines on the opac and
an opac payment plugin is enabled there is an error on the 'Charges'
tab.

The table uses a 'COLSPAN' variable which is set to 5 or 6 depending on
if OPAC payments are enabled. The guarantees table has one less column
than the patron's however, so it is going out of range and causing a JS
error. Additionally, we are adding a column to the child's table which
is not used as their fines cannot be selected for payment at this time.

This patch removes the checkbox column and sets the colspan directly to
4

I also fix an issue where the table is not being set as we need to
reference the patron object in the guarantor info to obtain the id.

To test:
1 - Set system preference: AllowStaffToSetFinesVisibilityForGuarantor to
    allow
2 - Find a patron
3 - Add some fines to their account
4 - Install and enable an opac payment plugin
    (https://github.com/bywatersolutions/koha-plugin-pay-via-govolution
    for example)
5 - Sign in to OPAC as borrower
6 - Go to 'Charges' tab
7 - Select a fee
8 - Confirm 'Make payment' button enabled and 'amount to pay' is
    updated
9 - Add a guarantee to patron in staff interface
10 - Set 'Show charges to guarantors' to 'Yes'
11 - Add and pay a fine for the child
12 - View guarantor account on the OPAC
13 - Confirm you now see child's charges
14 - Confirm selecting your own fees does not enable the button or
     update amount to pay
15 - Note JS error in console
16 - Apply patch
17 - Reload patrons page
18 - Confirm the table loads correctly (no JS error)
19 - Confirm selecting a fine updates the total and enables button
20 - Disable the payment plugin
21 - Confirm the display is still correct, no errors

4a6a8e1242 Bug 34761: Prevent XSS for searches and saved search filters
</script> tags are interpreted in JSON strings as HTML, which can
lead to XSS attacks.

This patch puts HTML escaped JSON in the value of a hidden HTML element.
The Javascript then takes the value as a string, parses it as JSON,
and is able to use it to save search filters without triggering a
XSS attack.

This patch also adds DataTable's built-in HTML escaping for the query
and limits on the admin UI for the search filters.

Test plan:
0. Apply patch
1. Go to
http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/admin/preferences.pl?op=search&searchfield=SavedSearchFilters
2. Enable the system preference
3. Go to http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/search.pl?q=e
4. Click "Save search as filter"
5. Checkbox "Show in staff interface?"
6. Type "E-TEST" into box and click 'Save'
7. Go to
http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/search.pl?q=e
8. Click "E-TEST" under "Custom search filters"
9. Note that you see search results
10. Go to
http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/admin/search_filters.pl
11. Note that for "E-TEST" you see a "Query" like
{"operators":[],"operands":["e"],"indexes":[]}
12. Note that for "E-TEST" you see a "Limits" like

37f342822a Bug 34572: Simplify template logic around check-in input form
This patch makes a minor simplifying change to the check-in template
around how to style the barcode input field in dropbox or fine-exempt
mode.

To test, apply the patch and go to Circulation.

- If necessary, check some items out to patrons so that you have items
  to check in.
- Go to the check-in page and click the icon inside the barcode field to
  expand the panel of options.
- Check the "book drop mode" checkbox. The barcode field should now be
  highlighted yellow.
- Check in an item. When the page redisplays, the barcode field should
  have the same highlighted style.

- If necessary, enable the finesMode system preference.
- On the check-in page, in the panel of options, check the "Forgive
overdue fines" checkbox. Test checking in again, confirming the same
style consistency in the barcode field.

c575123dc7 Bug 34310: Input prompt in datatables column search boxes untranslatable
This patch corrects the internationalization function wrapped around the
"% search" string in datatables.js. It should be the double-underscore
function instead of the single-underscore.

To test, apply the patch and test that the placeholder string is
translatable. In this example I'm testing fr-FR:

- Update a translation:

  > cd misc/translator
  > perl translate update fr-FR

- Open the corresponding .po file for the strings pulled from
  JavaScript e.g. misc/translator/po/fr-FR-messages-js.po
  - Locate strings pulled from prog/js/datatables.js for
    translation, e.g.:

    \#: koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/datatables.js:894
    \#, javascript-format
    msgid "%s search"
    msgstr "%s recherche"

  - Install the updated translation:

    > perl translate install fr-FR

In the staff interface, test a page that has column header filters, e.g.
patron search. Confirm that the table of search results shows the
translated string in the column header placeholders.

5f25f70077 Bug 34038: Fix incorrect use of __() in .tt and .inc files
This patch corrects instances of the double-underscore function being
used in .tt and .inc files where the single-underscore function should
be used instead.

- Open the corresponding .po file for JavaScript strings, in this case
  misc/translator/po/fr-FR-staff-prog.po
- Confirm that the strings are now in the .po file for translation. You
  should find these lines:

- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/js-biblio-format.inc: "No
  title."
- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/catalogue/detail.tt:
"Check in and add to bundle"
"Ignore holds and add to bundle"
- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/course_reserves/add_items-step1.tt:
"Please enter only a barcode, or only a biblionumber."

"Please enter only barcodes, or only biblionumbers."
- koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/tools/additional-contents.tt:
"Please specify a content for 'Default'"

- Check fr-FR-opac-bootstrap.po for these lines:

- koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/en/includes/calendar.inc:
"Please enter a valid date (should match %s)."
- koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/en/modules/opac-basket.tt:

7d6656678e Bug 34625: Fix search engine configuration tables header problem
This patch corrects the JavaScript which allows DataTables to be created
and destroyed based on which tab is clicked on the search engine
configuration page. When you click from one tab to the other, the
original tab's DataTable should be destroyed and the new tab's DataTable
initialized.

To test, apply the patch and go to Administration -> Search engine
configuration (Elasticsearch)

- The page should load with the "Search fields" tab enabled and the
DataTable initialized: Sorting and filtering should work. If you
scroll down the page the floating table header should be correct.
- Switch to the "Bibliographic records" tab. This table should have
filtering enabled, and the floating table header should work when you
  scroll down the page.
- The same should be true for the "Authorities" tab.
- Return to the "Search fields" tab to confirm that the DataTable is
  still working as expected.

af392e36d6 Bug 34066: Datatable options don't fully translate on list of saved reports
This patch corrects the DataTable option for defining an alternate
language string when no records are returned by a table filter. An
obsolete version of the option name was breaking the existing custom
option supplied by our datatables.js

To test, apply the patch and go to Reports -> Use saved..

 - In the DataTable of existing reports, all the DataTable controls
   should look correct.
 - In the filter field at the top of the table, enter a string which
will not be found. You should see a message, "No matching reports
   found."
 - Install another language if necessary, and switch to that language.
 - The labels on all the DataTable controls should show the terms which
have been translated for that language.

4a794ad0ea Bug 34522: Pass the suggestion branchcode, not the suggester branchcode
To test:
1. Turn on OPACViewOthersSuggestions
2. Log into OPAC as patron of Branch A
3. Make purchase suggestion for Branch B
4. Refresh /cgi-bin/koha/opac-suggestions.pl and see that suggestion appears to have been made for Branch A
5. View suggestion from staff client - See that it accurately reflects suggestion having been made for Branch B
6. Apply patch and try steps 2 - 5 again, this time you should see the proper branch.

ca1efafa62 Bug 34571: Remove use of "onclick" for ExpandField in cataloguing editors
This change replaces the onclick HTML attribute with a Javascript binding
to make it more in line with Koha conventions and make it CSP compatible.

Test plan:
0. Apply patch
1. Go to http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/addbiblio.pl?frameworkcode=#
2. Try hiding/unhiding fields
3. Try cloning fields and hiding/unhiding those too
4. Note that everything works as expected
5. Do the same thing for authorities by going to

3d07cffeb4 Bug 34592: Patron Search filter fields needs to be at least an empty array
If buildPatronSearchQuery() doesn't return an empty array when it exits
early, then the code that adds the sort fields to the filters will fail.

Test plan:

- If there is not all ready a patron with a sort1 or sort2 value from
the bSort1 or bSort2 authorized values, add an authorized value if
  necessary.
- Add a patron if necessary, and set the patrons sort field to the added
  value.
- In Tools -> Patron card creator start a new card batch.
- Click on Add Patron(s) to open the patron search window.
- Pick the value in either the sort1 or sort2 drop down.
- Submit the page. The page will reload and there won't be results.
- Apply the patch, close the patron search window, clear the browser
cache, reload the "New patron card batch" page, and open the patron
  search window again.
- Repeat the search. There will be results.

2fa6c105b1 Bug 34115: Use a global tab select function for activating Bootstrap tabs based on location hash
This patch fixes automatic tab selection by location.hash in the MARC
subfield editor. This allows links which target a specific subfield to
open the page with the subfield tab selected.

I've put this into a global function since it can be reused in multiple
places: The about page and the checkout page have variations of this
functionality which can be replaced with this function.

The patch also corrects two links in Koha pointing to the About
page which included the wrong location hash (changed in the switch to
Bootstrap tab wrappers).

To test, apply the patch and go to Adminstration -> Bibliographic
frameworks.

- View the MARC structure for any framework.
  - In the "Search for tag" input field, submit a tag and subfield which
will be found in that framework, e.g. "245$a"
  - When you submit the form you should be sent to the MARC subfield
structure page for that tag with the subfield tab automatically
   selected.
- View the MARC subfield structure for any framework.
  - In the table of subfields, click the subfield link in the first
column. You should be taken to the edit form with the corresponding
    tab selected.
- Go to Circulation and check out to a patron. Append a tab anchor to
the URL, e.g. "#holds_panel" and submit. You may have to shift-reload
the page to see the change. (As far as I know no links in Koha take
  advantage of this)
- Perform the same test on the patron detail page
- Go to the About page and perform the same test with a tab anchor like
  "#team_panel" or "#sysinfo_panel"

eae39cc26f Bug 34567: Correct colors for advanced cataloging editor status bar
This patch updates the advanced cataloging editor CSS so that the
"status bar" footer below the editor has colors consistent with the
staff interface redesign.

To test, apply the patch and clear your browser cache if necessary.

- Enable the EnableAdvancedCatalogingEditor preference if necessary.
- Go to Cataloging -> Advanced editor.
- At the bottom of the screen below the editor the "status bar" should
have a green border that matches color in the header search bar.
